Every group has some good ideas. The Nazis had some good ideas. Stalin had some good ideas. Genghis Khan had some good ideas. Even Vlad the Impaler, maybe the most evil person ever, had some good ideas. I bet that every one of those people gave flowers to someone when they were kids. You just have to weigh the positive impact of all of the good ideas vs the negative impact of all of the bad ones.

To be honest, the OP was bad enough that it should have been deleted and earned it’s author a temporary ban imo. This topic started out in a manner that makes it almost impossible to talk about with any sense of decorum. I totally get free speech, but calls for action against a minority group shouldn’t be tolerated. (Part of the problem with this thread starting out this way was the earlier thread which named white supremacy as the world’s foremost terrorist threat. We’re going off kilter here in a big way.)

The fact that they don't need to be stopped. They're only doing really good things, like killing members of islamic state, supporting Israel, and fighting the taliban. No. Not at all. The Germans and Japanese forced hundreds of thousands of people to work like slaves for them, to the point where thousands of people died from hunger and exhaustion. Trump is doing an awesome job down south. -the economy is still raging, -there aren't race riots all across the country like there were in 2015 and the first part of 2016, -the US hasn't gotten involved in any new wars, -major islamic terrorist attacks are happening less frequently down there (and more frequently under Trudeau than they were under Harper - it seems as though islamic terrorists attack more frequently when the gov't is tolerant of terrorism), -islamic state isn't the size of an average country anymore, -the government isn't spying on the opposition in the States now, or weaponizing the IRS, and -the American government is putting Americans first, unlike in Canada where the government seems to have unlimited resources for foreigners, and they also give foreigners more access inside our country than our own domestic goods get. 10/10! Trump's detractors are sifting through the garbage for rumors about him, that's all they've got. It's a sad day for the Dems, but they have it coming to them. They're just a pathetic bunch of losers with a long track record of being on the wrong side of hostory.

Wrong. He's going to promise all that because he knows that he's not going to win anyways. The PPC is like a double-edged sword for the Conservative Party. It's good because it draws all the racists away from the Conservatives, but it's bad because it will also leech other votes away as well. A vote for the PPC is basically a vote for the Liberals: If you voted PPC, and there were 500 PPC votes in your riding, and the Conservatives lost a seat to the libs by 300 votes, would you still be happy with your PPC vote?

The muslim minority in Canada is already flexing their muscle with serious terrorist attacks, attempted attacks, hate rallies against Jews, they’re promoting racial division through groups like BLM & women’s marches, and calling for sharia law (just civil law, for now) which runs contrary to our own civil rights. Now it’s a “thing” that muslims like Sarsour can talk trash about our laws, our country, our political parties and our allies while preaching the “glory” of islam but theoretically we can’t talk about the unparalleled evils coming from the rank and file of islam?
