  1. A cell phone passing by or stopping by a particular landmark doesn't automatically mean interacting with that landmark. Not to mention that following a suspect via cell phone only tells investigators where a suspect was, not what they were doing there. Investigators have to follow and look around till they can find something - like a dead body.
  2. I agree with you. But those who want to believe their side lost are going to cling to any evidence to support that view, regardless of how wesk that evidence is. And the truth is also that we've been lied to so much by those in power that it is hard sometimes to know what's true. Clinging to a side makes that uncertainty more bearable. IMO and all that.
  3. I listened to your talk, and appreciate that you've put forth some ideas of how Conservatives might strengthen their attraction to Canadians. For me, and I think for many people, the Conservatives association with certain social conservatives does not work to make them an attractive option. However, you did not address this in your talk. I'm not sure a 'balanced budget' is an absolute necessity for a well-functioning government or country; the last time the US had a balanced budget was in 1998. That's not to say I think that the government can just spend like there's no tomorrow, either. The amount of money spent must have some relation to the amount of revenue brought in. My understanding (and I don't claim to be any kind of expert) is that the debt Canada carries is tied to the GDP and that as long as we remain below a certain threshold, there are no issues. Currently, Canada's debt to GDP ratio is around 90%, while the US is around 107%. Of the two economies, which would you say is the stronger? I would like to see stronger support from Conservatives on climate change; I'd likely vote for them if they presented a plan that was well-thought out and achievable. God knows the Liberals have done very little. However, at this point, I don't think there is much that can be done, realistically. While there is great support for doing "something", few want to pay for what the "something" might cost. In this case, it's not so much the politicians shooting themselves in the foot, it's the people. I agree that Canada is an energy producer and that the energy produced will be needed for many decades to come. I also think that this does come at a cost to the climate and its unclear to me, at least, how both needs can be reconciled.
  4. So you're against free speech. Good to know.
  5. Says the guy who constantly anticipates a future in which leftists are shut down, destroyed, eliminated.
  6. yes, it is big enough to hit my little world here. It's probably the conspiracy theory that I missed - Democrats are using the billions supposedly lost to create fake people to vote for them? Am I close?
  7. Shrugs. Those who want to see election fraud, will see that. And that's the whole problem, isn't it? No way of knowing who's telling the truth, and who's lying. So one picks a team, decides they always tell the truth and the other side always lies. It's sad.
  8. Debunked, not ignored. The left can't help it if so many on the right are gullible.
  9. Why should I know about Project Veritas? 2000 mules has been debunked, as have the vast majority of the claims of massive voter fraud that some repubs claim.
  10. This is an interesting site. It's the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. The link takes you to a voter fraud data base, containing almost 1400 proven cases. Most of them don't specify if the offender was Republican or Democratic, which was the first sign - for me - that it was an objective source. The only instance I could find where the offender's politics were revealed was for a Republican. Another sign that the information and data it provided can be trusted. The point being that individuals engaging in voter fraud could be either Democrat or Republican.
  11. I read it, thank you. As I'm reading, I'm surprised by someone in their car boasting about the ballots they've harvested. I'm also wondering why this examination into ballot harvesting is so focused on one incidence - couldn't the investigative journalist have found other instances to really demonstrate how ballot harvesting is so "pervasive", as one source claimed? Anyway, Project Veritas has a nice ring to it so I looked it up - seems it's a far-right activist group. So that kinda answers the questions I had.
  12. The logic:. 1. We lost, therefore they cheated. 2. They are cheating, therefore we should cheat too. If the left was cheating why didn't they win the house?
  13. Even if what you post about is true, the death rate from the vaccine would be much less than the death toll from Covid. Billions have had vaccines; if the rate of death from vaccine was anywhere near the rate of death from Covid we'd know for sure by now Because you have decided any death after a shot is because of the shot, you are convinced that the death rate from shots is astronomical. And, you clearly do not care about the 6+ million people who've died from Covid. All of them, in your world, were old and sick so they don't really count Your views on the subject of Covid vaccines are extreme, and you only look for and believe "evidence" that supports your extreme views. Case in point the weightlifter. Never mind that he had Covid and a heart condition - the shot killed him. Personally I believe the Covid shot has side effects - but far fewer than side effects from Covid, including death. My evidence is the billions of living people who've had the shot. Even the milder side effects of the shot are less common than the milder side effects from Covid; if they weren't, we'd know by now because 100s of millions of people would be reporting them.
  14. Turns out he got the vaccine he talked about on FB in April of 2021 and he died in October of 2022. No doubt he got vaccines in between but the story, as presented by anti-vaxers such as @Goddess is BS. Also, he was 62 and had a heart condition, for those who like to dismiss Covid as only killing old and sick people.
  15. If one got sick the moment they were exposed ... But they don't. He had Covid and he died. Millions have died of Covid. He got vaccinated and he died. Billions have been vaccinated and not died. Just on odds, Covid seems the likelier cause of death.
  16. Response as expected - man dies of Covid, must be the vaccine that killed him. I offer myself, my partner and a few dozen friends and colleagues as proof that the jabs are safe. My "evidence" trumps your "evidence".
  17. He died of Covid. Posting stuff so easily disproved is why no one, except other conspiratoids, takes you seriously. But I know this won't fit your conspiratorial world, so go ahead - yammer on about MSM and the plot to hide the truth about the vaccine.
  18. Supporting an ideology does not mean giving up all critical thought, hero-worshipping it's leaders or threatening extreme payback on the people who support different ideologies. That's immaturity of thought.
  19. I take the adaptability of mankind into account, that's why I don't think the entire human race will be wiped out. Anyway, if I'm wrong about societal collapse and billions dying, so much the better. But the question won't be answered in my lifetime, or yours, I'm sure.
  20. Who's left? Just kidding, there are some good posters here.
  21. It will be for many people, and potentially for everyone - climate change has caused mass extinctions before, and why should humans be spared? But for me, personally, the scenario of societal collapse and billions dead seems most likely.
