Government and MP openness and accountability
Sandy MacNab replied to cybercoma's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Wow, you must be blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. The politically correct are constantly trying to impose their version of morality and their version of free speech, etc., etc. just about everywhere they can stick their snotty, interfering little noses. If you can't see that ..er, oh, maybe...... -
Funnier if they named him Lance.

And what closet are you hiding in? Your comment was rude and totally unecessary. It also implies Mr Harper is disloyal. What a cheap-shot!

Neither do I. It pisses me off knowing I'm paying for s**t I wouldn't let my dog watch. I would be quite willing to pay more and be able to select the channels I WANT to watch on a regular basis. Perhaps the channels I don't watch regularly could be on a pay-per-view basis in the (unlikely) event they occassionally have something I am interested in.

How about the opposition parties asking straight HONEST questions? Were that forthcoming I would fully agree with you. It is an unfortunate "tradition" that all parties, when in opposition, try to score political points &/or deliver cheap shots via loaded questions in the House. I would like to see civilized behaviour from all MPs based on mutual respect, respect for Queen and country, and most of all respect for all Canadians. -
It is my understanding that in Northern Europe prostitutes have a very limited clientel - much like the coal-oil lamp salesman.

Conservatives lied about snubbing Marc Garneau

Indeed! But the Liberals, being two-faced and the masters of hypocrisy and deceit. pretend that Chretch and his bunch of thugs did nothing wrong. A good read is the history of Andre Oullet's tenure as head of Canada Post. He never submitted receipts with his claims for expenses. -
Yes I do. That is one major bitch I have with the Harper government. They should have continued to pursue the Adscam affair with every arrow available in their quiver.

The lefties have plenty of opportunity to grill the government within the House. I don't see any reason for this government to expose itself to more abuse from the left-wing's MSM agents outside the House. -
The lefties - especially the Liberals - know they have to get rid of Harper before they have a hope in hell of winning in 2015. They have to demonize him and/or bring him down to their level - an impossible goal - because they just don't have anyone of his high stature and ability.

It appears this woman was hired to ferret out EI cheats and cheating the government was not against her "values". Unfortunately there are too many in the public "service" who think that ripping off the government is quite okay. If her employers has determined a goal of $500,000 is a reasonable target you can bet a $1,000,000 target would be attainable were they working in the private sector. After all, we wouldn't want our civil servants to be over-worked or find too may cheaters would we?

Huh? You talk as if you have had oodles of personal experience.

Rob Ford, mayor of Toronto UPDATES
Sandy MacNab replied to WWWTT's topic in Local Politics in Canada
It is pretty obvious that there is a core of lefties and other politically correct hyenas that are going to harass Ford no matter what he does. Hell, if he were to fart in his own back yard and the wrong person (say, a Star "reporter") down-wind were to smell it, Ford would be reported to be unleashing toxic poisons throughout the city. Fer gawd's sake, give the man a break. -
It's obvious, the term is "a waldo">

Mandela, his allies, and fair, rational folks throughout the world opposed apartheid. Here those who are the vicitims of a similar system want to preserve it. Go figure! -

Just like you want to believe, "Rode on the coattails of Liberal financial health ... and rode it right into the ground." You can't have it both ways. -

"source: Pembina Institute" WOW! I'd want all those stats thoroughly analyzed by those with an objective frame of mind. Ask Pembina to comment on the oilsands and you'll get the same reaction as asking the Taliban to comment on kissing in public. Frothy mouthed fanaticism.
