Conservative economics are failing us
Sandy MacNab replied to cybercoma's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
They must be Liberals because they're looking for miracles. Trudeau can't do it for a LPC come-back and Harper can't do it for the economies of the EU and the United States. Europe and the US have to do for themselves; highly unlikely given their lousy leadership. -
Sharia law? I'm getting sick of hearing of a system that condones "honour" killings of one's wife and daughters and that thinks a female who has not been married and bedded by the time she has her first period is a fusty old maid. Anyone who suggests Sharia law should be on the next scow outta here.

Well at least we have that all straight now

I'm sure there will be certain "cultures" provided dispensation if the lefty, politically correct have their way. -
If you were PM, what would you do?
Sandy MacNab replied to Moonlight Graham's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
We need those who will contribute labour and other skills; we don't need somebody else's effen culture. Until Trudeau we were making great progress on our own culture. -

I can see the destruction of Canada would be first and foremost in your regime. Maybe Cuba can help support us. -
Time for a Little Political Incorrectness
Sandy MacNab replied to bud's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The lefties, which include nearly 100% of the politically correct, are the most intolerant destroyers of free speech you can possibly find. They only see their own points of view and work feverishly to smother any views that do not gibe with theirs. These so-called "human rights" tribunals (i.e. lynch mobs) are ample evidence. -
Canada no longer leading the G7 in economic growth

Ontario Caterpillar Plant Shut Down After Cuts
Sandy MacNab replied to AusKanada's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Do Ontario's unions give a crap about Alberta? (that was a rhetorical qn) -
But, it's so much easier to blame someone else. I come from a small town. When I turned 21 and could visit the local bars, I noticed that the farmers who were the most likely to bitch about the government doing 'em dirt were the ones that spent most of the working day knocking back beer after beer.

Which proves them Liberal right to the rotten core!

You sure don't know WTF you're talking about. It seems that Manitobans know as much about the three to the west as Alabamans know about Saskatchewan. Wild Bill has it absolutely correct!

What a horrible thing to say about Canadians! Canadians are waaaaaaay smarter than that.

Health care system needs to be reformed - NOW!
Sandy MacNab replied to sammykp's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
If the ass-holes who are running Canada's hell-th care dog and pony show don't get busy you'll see a lot more across the northern USA. If I were sick enough I wouldn't hesitate to go south. In fact I have an ex-client, a young doctor who is practicing in California. -

Sandy MacNab replied to sammykp's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
For sure! Health care delivered publically and privately BUT totally publically funded is working in other parts of the 1st world. Canada must look seriously at those system and improve on them. I'm one who believe we can; others (example, The Friends of Medicare) obviously think we're too stupid. -
That's what scares the hell outta me. Layton's death leaves huge shoes to fill for the NDP. It like the Liberals are basically leaderless. Although the Harper government will benefit from Layton's absence - not a good situation, even though I'm a CPC supporter - the Liberals benefit by far the most and are probably slavering and wringing their hands in glee

I don't agree at all. No tax money should go to a politically biased - in the case of the CBC, Liberal - propaganda machine. Pay your taxes, then reach into your wallet if you want to donate personally to the CBC.

How Much Money Will You Pay For Green Energy?
Sandy MacNab replied to thepatrickblack's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Here are just two sources I have used to come to the opinion that the global warming crowd are not very credible. http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/images/stories/papers/originals/surface_temp.pdf - the facts contained therein clearly show how surface temperature measurements used by the AGWers cannot be relied upon. The Deniers by Lawrence Solomon "The world-renowned scientists who stood up against global warming..." The scientists whose opinions are discussed are tops! -
Possibly, but I wouldn't have it funded by tax money. I'd contribute personally unlike the Liberals and other socialists who think the world owes 'em a living.
-
That's what you are being told, fer crissake! They have to get better or lose their funding.

Indeed! This is not rocket science. His "apparent" inability to comprehend these straight-forward concepts means he doesn't truly understand anything else you're explaining or he's being deliberately obtuse. -

And you are? You think that Al Gore and Suzuki are climate scientists! Hell, you probably believed in Santa Claus until you were 17 too. You have absolutely NO IDEA what qualifies one to be knowledgeable about climate and the factors that influence it. One glance at your posts and I can tell that you probably never went beyond grade 9 or, if you did, never had a university level course in any of the major sciences. -
