Agreed. And not only that, but we are actually talking about same sex marriage here. I heard a while back about two straight guys who want to get married simply for the civil benefits. Should you have to prove you are gay to get married to a same sex spouse? Maybe it's a law that you have to consumate your marriage for it to be legal? How can you do that in somebodies a**?? .........random thoughts.........

I thought the defense was great. Where was the good offense? They needed Wilkie reincarnated to hammer a few passes downfield and Cutler back to blast 55 yard field goals all day long. I was disappointed with the offense on both teams. That sucked almost as much as the Stones. Those guys should die and go away.

To me, the Muslim countries all seem to be third world societies. The outrage at some simple cartoons merely illustrates the intolerance of them to accept others. All I can think is how long this is going to continue before there is a true religious backlash on them, another crusade? They seem to want to have their way or the highway and that can't continue forever. One day, people will have had enough of their crap. The more stuff I hear like this, the more I wonder if Muslims are educated people or merely religious zealots willing to sacrifice all for beliefs no one can substantiate. I also say that for all religious issues of every persuasion.

That hurts crazymf... ...it is not my fault I live in the province with the highest debt, the least efficient government (provincially), and on an island that continuously elects Liberal and Bloc (left-wing) MPs. And unfortunately I can't drive to Alberta to shop without sales tax like BC residents do. Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt feelings. You are welcome here at any time and until we see you, I dub thee an 'honorary Albertan'. You have to move here to be a real Albertan and get royalty cheques though. Do it, soon. We have a growing labor shortage to match our growing economy. There's room for more.

Why should we embrace the left? We just received our 2005 Resource Rebate cheque today of a non-taxable $400.00. Thanks Ralph and the government you have led in the past years. This money tells me that things are good in our province. Why fix it if it's not broken? Quebec and Ontario, you can't get this money from me in any way shape or form. That feels GOOD!!

You are not alone. http://www.911inplanesite.com/ http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/ Those should keep you going for a while.

So it's fashionable to have a pet nigger on your arm?? Pardon the slang. And you say this thread isn't a racial slur? I can't grasp that theory, but whatever floats yer boat.

You seem to have an extremely bitter view of the world. How I make friends is by talking with them, often sharing common experiences, (such as work or hobbies) and often similar political viewpoints (but the last one isn't as important). Race or gender do not have a place on the 'fleabag's like-o-meter'. The human body is merely a vehicle, transportation for 'the soul'. I only make judgements of what is on the inside. Same for 'beauty'. I know a few people that are considered 'attractive', but are shallow and ugly inside. Their looks become way less endearing when you get to know them. I agree, but from the other side. An a**hole is an a**hole no matter what color his skin is. I don't see skin colors. That may be hard for some people to believe given some of my harsh postings, but I am not a racist in any sense. I believe a thread like this is racist and anytime a label is put on someone for whatever reason to do with skin color, the underlying theme is racism.

To me if a people want a terrorist government and vote them in with a majority, then the whole fricking works advocate terrorism and that would be a great cause to turn the whole place to glass and start over. They don't merely want peace. They want it all, with no Jews in sight. If that isn't an open call for unrestricted war, I don't know what is. If the Palestinians want some attention, they might just get it this time. We should send 12 million dollars worth of bombs there instead.

Very true. I don't think they will lose that much credibility, though. Especially if HAMAS gets boycotted by the major nations. They can claim perfidy, and that it wasn't their fault. It would be better that the major nations do recognize a democratically elected gov't, so that if it does fail, there can't be any excuses. And if it works, there might actually be peace. Phew, had to go to the dictionary for that one. 'Perfidy', good one.. One word, paradox. Democratically elected terrorist government. Like I said, I'm watching for the matter to hit the antimatter.

I think this will be the most interesting development in the Israel conflict that we have ever seen and may pave the way to understanding the terrorist radical extremist mentality. Just think, the Pals have given an agenda to a terrorist organisation. No longer are they merely against the establishment, but actually have to form the establishment and try to progress from there. In other words, they've been complaining about the status quo for so long that the people are giving them a chance to crap or get off the pot. If the Hamas does nothing progressive, then they will lose all credibility with their supporters and also do major harm to any terrorist agenda across the globe, politically speaking. I also wondered right away if we are seeing a parallel to the Ireland situation. The ball is in Hamas' court. I'm all eyes to see if they drop it. This could be a start of something really good for the area.

Your not allowed to kill your kids?

Suicides are the ultimate act of selfishness. I am always confused about why people would do such a thing. It's the people left behind that have to suffer when someone exits life. Of course there's a lot of factors such a a terminal disease and such, but I still believe that this person was thinking only of himself and not his mother and how she'd have to live with it. Hey, all you suicide jockies, get some balls and go off yourself somewhere else by yourself if you have to do that. Don't leave a trail of hurt people using up our resources in court. Of course what do they care, they're dead. Idiots. All of them. What to do with this woman though? Simple, she admitted to premeditated murder. Death penalty. Oh yeah, we don't have that. -
Well, I think the border should be a half mile wide and inside it is no man's land where the US and Canadian Customs people work in concert to a preagreed set of rules. That way, a problem could be dealt with immediately and the proper authorities can take charge as necessary instantaneously. Also, then more time and energy can be spent securing the border with a common voice rather than duplicate everything. My personal feeling is to get rid of the border altogether and police the coastline around our continent.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to be 'Canadian' when we haven't even counted our ballots yet.

Silence is consent. My vote today in the federal election supports my disagreement with gay marriage. I'm not about to tell other people what to do with their private life, but don't try and tell me 2 homos are equal but merely different to a real married couple. That's a load of crap.

Another 4 years of Martin scares me. It's about time we got a leader with some balls. I hope Harper doesn't weenie out after he gets in.

So, what's good for Ontario is good for the country? That's what we've thought of the eastern voters for a long time. We out west don't exist to Ottawa. Soon...100 years is long enough.

I am going to vote Conservative tomorrow
crazymf replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I also am voting Conservative for the following reasons: 1. The party has the same name as the one Ralph leads in Alberta. 2. I'm against gay marriage. 3. I don't think the Liberals were brought to justice on Adscam and Martin is lying about his lack knowledge of it. 4. I don't need any more reasons than that. -
No, actually I wasn't. But seeing as how there doesn't seem to be room here for a sense of humor, I think it's time to leave anyway. See ya.................

Well Argus, To me, if you segregate someone based on religion, such as Muslims, that's at least discrimination. The minute that you statistically label these folks as a group, the line gets really thin as to where racism starts. And Kimmy, when you come from the farm like me, trolling is merely a non derogatory term for 'fishing', which can be equated to making ones self available to socialize and seeing what transpires. You never know who you'll meet right? No insult intended.

Harper-Bush, Bush-Harper?
crazymf replied to The Honest Politician's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
That's an interesting article full of opinions based on nothing and no facts, just sweeping statements. However, to some of us, it makes us want to vote for Harper even more. Thanks. -
Trying to start a new party
crazymf replied to LabourPartyCanada's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Hmmm....I always thought the NDP was a labor party.
