This is one of those threads all about opinion really. I threw the link in here to show that there are different opinions out there. This election reminds me of the 2011 federal in that a Quebec party took a huge hit and made a serious change. The liberals also took a huge hit in Quebec in 2011 because the voters there didn't run back to them, they went NDP! Keep in mind that the liberals (federally) at one time were a "Quebec" party. (Brian Mulroney changed that) I don't think the "left" in Quebec will be so quick to jump on with Justin. But we'll see next year. WWWTT

If Rob Ford were to die unexpectedly(anything other than health issues), there would be an outpouring of good will towards him (see Jim Flaherty thread). But probably not. As far as Tory goes, Don't think that guy really wants to win anything. If he won that would mean he would have to go to a regular job and he would open himself up to all kinds of criticism. WWWTT

Ya that was in one of the links I provided. It sounds like he turned on his phone. But not sure what that could mean exactly. Was he just checking data on it and not bothered to switch to flight mode, or was he actually trying to make a call? WWWTT

Until they invade Iran, then it's a different story. Also, the previous liberals cut military spending, so what did he do exactly? restore the spending, or increase to levels above the level when cuts were fist applied? Same goes for corporate taxes and the loopholes. Not to mention the holy grail of right wing politics, their biblical right to bear arms! WWWTT

The only restriction with the NDP is that you don't belong to another party. No age restrictions. WWWTT

I suggest you check the rules for the conservative party. I'm not sure about the conservative party, but I know the NDP has rules controlling this. If you want to reduce conservative members, all the freekin power to you! That's a perfect recipe to start loosing! WWWTT

Like I said before, it would be nice if everyone on board the plane was safe. The link I provided claims that this is the case. This is just one of many theories out there! I'm not ridiculing anyone's opinion here. I personally feel that it is a poor debate tactic to ridicule different ideas being forwarded. WWWTT

I disagree! Issues judges are enforcing are clearly written in the charter/constitution in black and white. No need for wish washy reflecting/contemplating/trends/opinions/polls etc. etc. WWWTT

That actually fuels the activity on this forum. If everyone agreed immediately, I think this place would be to boring and I would lose interest. If you agree with me, then you would either reply with a comment like "I agree" or not reply. If you disagree, for whatever reason, you would then more and likely reply with your response. WWWTT

Yes it is unusual! Especially when Kenney knew very well that the riding association wanted him gone! It was no secret that Rob was a big black eye on the conservatives, Kenney just wanted him around because he knew how to get the donations from the far right radicals. WWWTT

I agree and disagree. Paul Martin didn't increase military spending , didn't increase cuts to corporate taxes to the extent as the conservatives (in fact he eliminated many corporate tax loophole/breaks at the beginning of his term) didn't cut the HST. Voted for the gun registry! Lots of stuff there that's not in line with the tea party. WWWTT

You are describing the reality as it is now. But it's unfortunate that this is the case. Can you imagine how advanced a country Canada would be if all levels/branches of government worked closer together, with no partisan bias! WWWTT

Maybe? Not sure but it looks like things there are changing at a fast rate and may not be as so solid as some may think here in the west! Just have to wait and see. This story is constantly changing, and changing for the worse for Ukraine. WWWTT
