  1. Ok just trying to help. WWWTT
  2. Thanks for the correction, I was referring to the flight crew. WWWTT
  3. Sometimes when I come across something to add that I feel others may be interested in, I'll write where I heard it and that I'll provide the link when it comes available. I'm interested in what you write. I know it's frustrating hearing about something on the news and you can't follow up on it because it hasn't hit the internet yet. You know how to add links to your comments? Have you done that before? WWWTT
  4. The cabin crew wouldn't know if their transponder was turned on or off? Then how do they turn them on after take off? Here's what you wrote: One thing you are right about is that the cabin crew would know nothing about the "health" of the xponder, or whether it was turned on or turned off. It looks like you are putting a lot of words that I didn't write into my comments! Here's what I wrote: And is not the only form of communication either. So who said anything about the pilots using the transponder to communicate? The rest of your comment is easily found on the internet and have previously read, but thanks anyways. WWWTT
  5. You know, a link would be nice! Would make things a lot more easier to follow! Is that so hard to ask for? WWWTT
  6. Well it looks like that there is now another part of the Ukraine breaking off to form it's own country and may join up with Russia. http://en.itar-tass.com/world/726844 I think this thread is going to get busy! WWWTT
  7. Yes I did. But you used the word "ALL", I never did. Go back and read buddy! WWWTT
  8. I believe that only the cabin crew are the only ones that can confirm the problem. The cabin crew may be under the impression that their transponder is working fine. But how would they know? As I pointed out earlier, from what I have read, the transponder is very important, so much so that there is a second back up! And is not the only form of communication either. As well the plane backtracked over well traversed shipping lanes and into known tracked air space. If there was a problem, then the pilots would try to immediately safely land the plane. But when we hear that the engine was pinging OK for up to possibly 7 hours after the tracking devise was turned off, that has to irk investigators! WWWTT
  9. I should correct myself here. I do wish that all onboard this plane are still safe and sound! That would be the best outcome in my opinion. WWWTT
  10. Or if it is switched off. WWWTT
  11. Don't have one single theory, as to what happened to this plane, only posted what others very close to this case believe. As I said before in another comment that you may have read, I bear no responsibility as to what you may think or feel. I am only responsible for what I write. WWWTT
  12. Never said if "I believe" or "don't believe". Nor did I use any terms such as wish, hope, anticipate, etc. I'm actually trying to remain indifferent. But it seems that most people discussing this believe that this plane IS destroyed, despite the fact there is no evidence of this at all. When something turns up, obviously that will become the direction of this case. WWWTT
  13. Oh I can clearly see that you are just making things up as you go along here. You don't want to talk about the fact that a planes transponder identifies the plane for other sovereign nations to identify (and probably a host of other parties that have an interest), therefore a crucial part! WWWTT
  14. Than why did you write what you did? Sorry but I can't read your mind. Just commenting on what you have written WWWTT
  15. Ya that's right! Ever thought that the Russians may be concerned that a neighbouring country has a nazi government? As far as the rest of your comment goes, its mostly biased speculation! WWWTT
  16. Already posted the link, not up to me for you to check it. Never said myself that the flight was in Diego Garcia or that was what I believed, only provided links that show that some people feel that it is a possible scenario. bjre also commented about this. Furthermore, how you may feel is up to you, I bear no responsibility for your "feelings"! WWWTT
  17. Why would you hope that the pings are real???? That would mean that everyone on board is dead! If the plane landed, then there's an opportunity that everyone is safe. I guess you're rootin for everyone on the flight to be dead. WWWTT
  18. So that's your answer as to why Norway did not allow that flight bound for Warsaw permission to use their airspace? Because Iceland didn't order Air Malaysia flight MH370 to land? (I could also add that you didn't add the ? at the end of your question, but MH is the self proclaimed "grammar Nazi here so I'll leave those matters for him to meticulously resolve!) Man that's something a freekin spun mistake or something I don't know what? And Wilber, for some reason is completely ignorant of the obvious mistake you made, and uses your sorry riddled comment to somehow school me???? Man you guys are going from bad to worse with your lines of debate here. Good luck on improving! WWWTT
  19. Ya I actually I believe you meant to write that it doesn't change your opinion, which is the same as what you have written. And we agree upon that. WWWTT
  20. Ya you see, this is why I ask for links. First I provided the link that mentions the transponder having to be shut off to avoid air traffic noise. And then you try to give us the wiki text book definition for the transponder. http://ri.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LEVvB1BkJTbGwArkMXFwx.;_ylu=X3oDMTByMG04Z2o2BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkAw--/RV=2/RE=1396864758/RO=10/RU=http%3a%2f%2fen.wikipedia.org%2fwiki%2fTransponder_%28aviation%29/RK=0/RS=2vJPvbyjEcfX.IUI42RndX4lJYs- But the wiki definition isn't really a "one size fits all" one is it? As we can see from this flight departing YYZ to Warsaw that had to land on Iceland because Norway wouldn't give permission for it to fly through its airspace. http://ri.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LEVjkvBUJTrjUAyMoXFwx.;_ylu=X3oDMTByMG04Z2o2BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkAw--/RV=2/RE=1396864432/RO=10/RU=http%3a%2f%2fwww.torontosun.com%2f2013%2f09%2f29%2ftoronto-flight-to-warsaw-forced-to-land-in-iceland/RK=0/RS=Fio42fJQqLP2RrfVJd20UOcuxx0- My suggestion is that you do more research about commercial flights. WWWTT
  21. No I don't agree that there can be only 2 reasons for a light not being on. (power failure, wiring failure, breaker overload not to mention that the bulb itself could have been removed from the fixture). I will have to agree that turning off the transponder may be as easy as turning a knob or flipping a switch. As well there are not just one, but two transponders that the pilots can use in case the first fails. However the second must be manually switched on. Keep in mind that this was an international flight travelling through the airspace of at least 3 different sovereign nations, Identification is mandatory or this flight could be refused permission to enter into another countries air space! That is why there is a back up and then there are the other communications system the plane have. I have provided links for all of this. But it sounds like you are starting to realize that your argument about these facts is not with me. WWWTT
  22. That's a funny request. You are assuming that the cause for the planes disappearance is known. WWWTT
  23. Sorry, don't have a link about how you mistook a spelling error could ever be your newest strongest to date debating platform! But here, enjoy the company your with now! http://ri.search.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LEVr8M80FTpVQAd7MXFwx.;_ylu=X3oDMTBybnV2cXQwBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMgRjb2xvA2JmMQR2dGlkAw--/RV=2/RE=1396859789/RO=10/RU=http%3a%2f%2fwww.youtube.com%2fwatch%3fv%3dN4vf8N6GpdM/RK=0/RS=LA9_gqZnVs52DXXBv4FPFqEcBVE- WWWTT
  24. Haha! Rogue! The grammar nazi strikes again! WWWTT
  25. Oh sorry I thought you were suggesting that you heard authorities thought something was up with the crew. However there is no evidence of a serious malfunction causing this plane to vanish. It is now well known that the transponder was manually shut off and this plane flew back into Malaysia's air space where it should have been tracked by military ground radar. Even out over the coastline and over the ocean in some cases as I have read. But over land for sure! But you and Wilber just don't want to even acknowledge these facts! You have even written that the authorities claim that the transponder WAS manually turned off ticks you off! So far, from what I have read, it is the crash scenario due to an accident that seems the least likely.(but more possible than your pet space alien theory) Followed by the plane being commandeered by a rouge pilot, then crashing it. And the most likely scenario right now from looking at the evidence is that the plane was commandeered and landed somewhere, but where I have no clue? If new evidence comes out then of course everything changes. But only if that would be a black box and plane wreckage. It would be super bizarre if only the black box turned up with no wreckage and/or bodies. Let me remind everyone that there is absolutely no evidence that the plane crashed! The relatives/family/friends of those on board, from my understanding, believe that this plane safely landed as it was designed, built and vigorously tested to do just that! The family and friends of those on board are probably the most informed civilians of this case and are day in and day out, probably armed with lawyers, asking the most in depth questions and keeping the best records of all the evidence released! If they believe that this plane likely safely landed, I am confident that this belief is sound! WWWTT
