i think the point that keeps being made is that if you're Canadian and are concerned about terrorism - you're automatically an ISLAMOPHOBE, since we haven't had too many attacks here yet. It's a bit tougher to pin that label on Europeans. But I'm sure some here will try.

If you say so. I don't see a lot of difference between right and left violence in terms of defining entire groups, I don't think either is reflective of the mainstream. Just for your information, according to the RCMP, there are more right-wing extremist groups in Canada than left wing, although hard to say who is more violent overall. One can certainly find any number of articles online supporting either viewpoint. But hey, if you want to think 'the left' is inherently more violent, go right ahead.
