I don't know who supports terrorists more, you or this fella you quoted. What our leaders and pundits never let slip is that the terrorists-whatever else they might be-might also be rational human beings ; which is to say that in their own minds they have a rational justification for their actions. Most terrorists are people deeply concerned by what they see as social, political, or religious injustice and hypocrisy, and the immediate grounds for their terrorism is often retaliation for an action of the United States.

Khadr is a Canadian citizen who's rights were violated and who was compensated financially because of it. Not sure what a meeting between the PM and Speer's father is supposed to accomplish.

First of all, where in my comment did I mention Khadr? It was about my disgust generated by Trudeau's behavior in general. Sure the linked article is about a dead Canadian soldier and the request his father has made. However, my comment made no reference at all to Khadr. It was simply an observation based on Trudeau's prior and present behavior. It should also be pointed out to you that Islam is not a race, so even if I had commented on the pay off of a terrorist it would still not be racist. Considering the fact that Khadr is Caucasian it also invalidates your claims of racism. Admit it, you just wanted an excuse to show the world your moral outrage and throw the racist word around.

Tell YOU what. His family and ideology, not Canadians "forced' him into violence. He was injured and jailed for murder and terrorizing. He was interrogated for murder and terrorizing. Like you do with criminals. Why aren't you up in arms about interrogations of other murderers like Russell or Bernardo? He contributed nothing g to Canada and his only wish was to kill us and our ways. We don't owe him a damn thing. Of course I'd sue. JT won't negotiate with terrorists but will pay terrorists millions. I'd get to terrorize and be rich with the same actions while striking a blow at the west. Win win win.
