I just really believe this woman has no clue what she is doing. I have no doubt that this government is so far out of its league that it is going far beyond incompetence. As time goes on and The Ontario Liberals will no longer have Harper to blame it is going to just get worse and worse. Really hope JT either loans Wynne some people with brains or he cuts off her allowance because it will just be flushed down the toilet.

I did read it. I thought it was just a long winded excuse for the failures of this government. I did agree that the consultants were likely brought in to cover up the yet another "boondoggle" that is getting to be more and more common. But justify away if it makes you happy

So about erasing the emails? Ok fine. The Ontario Liberals have a history for spending money poorly. I for one would have felt alot better if the Liberals had sold the telecom for a dollar and not had the consultants. In the end the people of Ontario would have been further ahead. You mean the two other parties that were not the ones that put the gas plants there? And how much did the conservatives and the NDP pay to erase the files from the system? Of course the Liberals paid the money back after it was exposed but I am sure the Liberals would have paid that back on their own.

So for sake of argument let us say that it had nothing to do with the seats involved. So here you are defending an incident that even the present leaders of the same party have admitted that it was a political move to save seats.

Not nearly as absurd as you defending the Liberals for cancelling the plants all for the sake of a few seats at Queens Park. If this had been a Conservative decision you would have been filling this forum complaining as the rest of us are.

Or maybe it is the knowledge that government will just screw it up so we are just looking for a government that will do the least amount of damage. I don't really like Harper but I do not like any of them. I just dislike Harper the least. We live in a nanny state but the Liberals and NDP will just make it worse.

The Liberals cannot join the NDP for a coalition with the NDP in charge. They need to be in second place at least and make the last election look like a fluke. I personally hope they go down in flames even if it means a NDP majority

I understand that we need roads,transit,etc,etc for a society to function but how does that translate to dollars to pay for the pay out of the plan? As of Wednesday it has been stated there is now no need of such idea's. The money brought in for the ORPP will not be used to fund infrastructure. So where is it really going to go? Still no answer on admin fee's This whole plan screams disaster and nobody can stop it.

It is just going to be another tax. We are going to find in 2022 when Wynne at the age of 69 will likely be on some board saying the person after her screwed it up and it was Steven Harper that made it so their was not money after Mike Harris left her stuck with a bill that Dalton McGuinty had to pay so it was not her fault.

and if he had Wynne would say he is not doing enough. There are so many details being left out of this because Wynne wanted the ORPP as a weapon against Harper but was not really ready to announce. Or she is keeping the real purpose for the money quiet so JT does not get the blame.
