I know, and am not arguing with you. That is the Canada you loved, for many reasons, but is not so loved today. Canada led the fight back then as we were under the command of the crown. Canada's soldiers seen and used by British command as an auxilliary force. In some cases sent in first... as cannon fodder. ?

Nothing. Canada does as a puppet state must do. React. Our UN and NATO obligations bind us in support for those nations problems, as you know. Although Canada did not fall in line with US Gulf war. That was not "sponsored" by the UN. Canada made its own ethical decision, where America and UK went to war. Once the dominoes start to fall, all the chain reactions will take place.

If the system is enabling individuals to commit crimes, it needs to be talked about. Here "the system" is not protecting people who are vulnerable, because of a fixation on a certain problem. Sometimes the solution can be worse that the problem it addresses, a fact the naive "just recently awaked" fail to grasp.

You are welcome to ignore history, plug your ears and make faces all you want, little fella. Whatever keeps you people duly entertained.

The US gave $5B funding to groups in Ukraine, to "improve democracy". As if it was any of their business. The election of Yanukovych was monitored by outside observers and deemed to be fair. All was fine for a while until Yanukovych announced he was not going forward with a trade proposal with the EU. His reason was that the Ukraine economy was not strong enough to be ready for that yet. That left the door open for more discussion. It's called reasonable and fair negotiations. Not good enough for the globalists. As soon as the Dems/ Biden took charge, there's a war. Us backed, funded. US approved, to go for the long haul. As Uncle Joe said, grinning sardonically- "We're in this for as looooong as it takes!" A phrase which should make any good Slava Ukrainie's hair stand on end.

No, there are few options. But the switch was not tripped then. The switch was tripped when the US and EU backed the ouster of Yanukovych in 2014. All else is just domino theory...

Or, the few sane people left in the world could demand a ceasefire. ? There's a word that is hardly in the dialogue. Going to total war is like rolling dice with complete catastrophe being a number that could come up. I wouldn't place any bets. But too late now, the switch is tripped and there are few realistic options. But I would guess Russia won't back down, any more than USA or China would. They are instead hunkering down for a long war. Now that China will supply them with ammo and other equipment, the clock ticks closer to nuclear midnight. If it's WW3, there will be a-bombs. Sure why not. Been there done that.

Sure. Hey what version are you playing?

You go out first, Master Gepetto. There is evidence the world is getting meaner and... dumber out there. I heard this was an issue in jobs where on-the-job training is vital for knowledge transfer. Jobs that require a mentor, or an apprenticeship. A large number of people retired during covid and left a vacancy, but there was no time for appropriate knowledge transfer. This leaves a potentially dangerous technical skills loss. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/retirement-labor-force-dropouts-march-morning-consult/ However my experience more recently is... just getting someone who can speak clearly in English on the phone, AND who actually knew what they were talking about.

I would imagine kids in poor homes did not fair as well as in rich homes. Kids who had a good home, versus those who were at risk of abuse from an alcoholic dad. In other words, your white privilege is showing... We heard about those domestic issues early on, during the first shutdown. It only took a few weeks of isolation for these guys to flip out. Where mom would go to work and little Johnny to school, they now had to stay home and get a daily black eye. Not that those issues changed the opinion of any of you people, when I pointed them out. For all the social equality feels-good we love everyone equally lovey-dovey you people exude, it's nothing but empty lips service and show. But, no go. It was ME who spoke out for the less fortunate. Me, that you call "right wing", that you call "conservative", anti-social. Me, not you. Just sayin is all...

It's called Fog of War stuff, my dear, war-cheering i d i o t s. But while you people chuckle and guffaw about the Ukraine in your comfortable dens, in between playing rounds of Call of Duty, a more important question is: What will the Rus' next mistake be?

These British blokes knew what they were talking about. Even though they were... fags.

One thing's for sure, this guy is not going away. No matter how hard the left tries to eradicate him, he just keeps coming back. In fact he somehow manages to turn that around on them, so it hurts them instead of him. Just look at all the clods in this forum who have a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Some of them cannot even sleep at night. The thought of Trump coming back as President has them unglued, mentally, while Trump just keeps getting stronger and stronger.

I thought the slippers looked pretty good. Wouldn't mind to try on a pair. They were pricey. But hey, you pay more for the good stuff. Meanwhile you people can sell out your country to buy cheap pillows stuffed with chinesium. Enjoy the asbestos and formaldehyde. -

Here are the parts that stand out most to me: and also this one: That's what happened to me when I spoke out against the insane measures during Covid. I was called a nazi by the members of this forum for trying to explain what is actually basic knowledge about virus transmission. But it makes sense they did that. The first quote completely describes them. In other words, not even a basic understanding of science. Completely ignorant of science, yet also not having "folk" knowledge. Even your grandma knows better than them. There must be more to explain why the masses bought into Covid hysteria to the extent they did. In Canada, Trudeau encouraged hatred of the unvaccinated. It didn't matter the reason they were not vaccinated, medical or not. This meant those who had a medical exemption were also treated like third-class citizens, practically excluded from all normal activities in public. The fear factor is another big one, fear of dying. That and a complete sense of dependence on "The System" in order to survive. None of us will survive if our civilization collapses, because Metro won't have burgers and steaks anymore, so we are wholly dependent on government to protect us in an "emergency". Yet interestingly, the attitude towards unvaxxed, the fear and the hate, all came from above. Same as the people we see on here, the ones who genuflect before government authority are having the biggest problems with covid fear. These people put their leaders on a pedestal, worship them like celebrities and think they are all-knowledgeable gods. Right wingers have less respect for leadership. I see that as an important tenet of the right - they do not want the leadership to have authority over them. The role of leadership should be contained. -
Great plan and good speech. These are important issues to society, issues people should care about. These are the kind of issues a government should discuss, and solve.

Hmm, let me see. I did some tests with the OpenAI chat bot and here are a few things I noted. - Frequently made incorrect or completely false statements. - Frequently invented information that was fictitious. - Could not substantiate claims with verifiable links - Frequently gave fake references. - Got confused quickly and would make pre-packaged statements that it was told to say when things go wrong. - Didn't make sense. So yeah, there is a very good likelihood we have some professional liar bots here.

War drives technology, and technology also drives war. The industrial revolution created the machinery and economy to make the first large-scale "mechanized" war possible. With the development of gas combustion engines, improvements in metallurgy and chemistry, and mechanized mass production, it was almost impossible for the great war not to happen. I wouldn't mind living in a pre-industrial revolution world right now. Horse and buggy is fine. Take your time. Just mind the poop.
