  1. We have to maintain a strong stance. We being the west and mainly the United States and the UK, not Canada. We did that and stability was maintained for a while, but the US changed the balance by interfering in Ukraine's politics, by transferring billions of dollars to opposition groups to get them to incite violent protests against the democratically elected (but pro-Russian) president Vladimir Yanukovych. That is what eventually led to the Russian invasion.
  2. That would certainly explain Doug Ford's position. Thanks
  3. Agreed, it can more likely to happen by those things. Misinterpreted order, misunderstanding, someone forgot it was a drill. The more we play pretend WWIII the more the odds increase. Eventually mistake gets made. Thanks for pointing it out, because these ignorant tits think it's like in video games.
  4. "I looked into his eyes, and saw that he had a soul."
  5. Because Candians are drunkards, and stoned. As we see here in this forum. "Pass me another beer, and joint." J. Stalin- "Religion is the opium for the masses J. Turdeau- "Opium is the opium for the masses."
  6. Exactly. Candians are too lazy and complacent. All spelling was verified.
  7. At the moment anyone can post anything they want around here. That doesn't mean you are obligated to respond or interact with them. You can respond if you want to, but you don't have to. My suggestion is, if someone is derailing a thread do not engage them. Just keep doing your own thing and you'll be fine.
  8. Not to worry. Like Uncle Joe says, we're here to support the war, for as looooong as it takes.
  9. I don't think Americans are more considerate than us, so whether it be tactful or tackful, either way this movement is problematic. Being bombarded by US media makes us transpose their societal ills upon ourselves. Once in a while we need to be reminded why we actually don't like America and Americans. Not to say Canada is or was ever perfect of course. It is based on the British Auld-Boy's Club after all.
  10. You're right, Budweiser is American beer and shouldn't even matter, but it's only because beer culture in Canada has been watered down. National beer conglomerates Labatt's, Carling O'Keefe and Molsons were from the golden age.
  11. Actually I'm part of the most progressive generation that ever lived. "Old Canada." What we have today is an attempt to go further, but it was poorly thought out and backfired. We changed our tact to adopt a more American style. Never-ending chatter about race. All things about race. Totalitarian Racism.
  12. Touched a nerve, have I? I always know when I am right. Is when you people are upset.
  13. You trivialize how this strikes at the very heart of our culture. To paraphrase PET, "Canadians are satisfied with just a few basic things. A hockey game, a bottle of beer."
  14. Which happened? That they are instructed to hire by skin colour? Sure, why not. Most HR dept.s are full of i d i o t s .
  15. Opposites are usually identified by their polar extremes. The thing is you're never supposed to go there. Stay in the tropics, my friends...
  16. At that point with all other things being equal, I'd hire the one that I "feel" would best fit into the team in terms of their personal attributes. Maybe the black person came across as a little abrasive or aggressive. If I don't want that personality I'd go with the other one. Of course I can guess what the "right" answer on your test has to be. What I said is not even an answer available on the test. It's just skin colour, A or B. Literally, black and white thinking. That's why it's completely flawed thinking that perpetuates racism. As an employer I don't have time for that. No sir. I'm agin it.
  17. What's an opinion worth, in a topic like this? Several tons of meteor fall on this planet every day. The modern use of cell phones and all-sky cameras means that a lot more of these are being seen and recorded than even twenty years ago. No need to hide under the bed yet.
  18. It's because they want to market to young people, so are just jumping on the latest fad among youth. Of course they don't give a rat about trannies. What do they have to do with beer anyway.
  19. Budweiser. Rice beer, you say? Phhh... ? It wasn't worth drinking before. Sure is hella not worth it now. Why would they do this anyway? What kind of beer needs to go woke? Answer - the ones who suck. I mean figuratively, metaphorically. Not... In other words failed product. Use wokism as marketing campaign. And of course, the suckers go for it. I would not drink that swill in any case. Let alone Bud Light. Am a Coors light man...
  20. I always like how wokesters rhymes with Jokesters. 'cept jokesters is a real word. A lot can be gleaned from words. So we should consider a more etymological approach. Woke is a word in the past tense. Woke already happened a while ago. But to say one is "woke", meaning a state of being in the present tense, is not a word. Better to say, they have awoken. They are awake. The whole thing infers to reaching the end of childhood, and the shock of discovering what the adult world is all about. No more mommy and daddy to hold you tight, and clean up after you. No. Now, when you go out into the world, like to the grocery store, you must do so alone. And then you will encounter me. I might not look at you very nicely. I might even be a little rude. Oh the angst of it, to be awoked.
  21. It should be noted these documents are just the found knowns. They do not include the unfound knowns. Let alone the unfound unknowns...
