  1. That's good news. I thought it had something to do with how I voted on Monday. Had to watch American Idol last night just to feel connected with a group who have the same interest. Thanks Greg, I didn't know how addicted I was.
  2. Good for you! They're going to need that $1.75 to help rebuild their party. ($30 million in the hole)
  3. What do I think contributed to Martin's lack of success? John Duffy/Scott Reid and a the Liberal crew of wantabees who thought Plan A from 2004 would replicate itself in 2006.
  4. Now here's a poll,that's got it all. Margin of error=/-1% with 10,000 participants. From Kinsella's blog:
  5. Biblio Bibuli, Since you have changed your prediction at such a late date,I'll do you one better. I'll make my prediction tomorrow. But,I'll do it very early tomorrow. -CES
  6. Doesn't matter how he plays it,it's the same old tune.
  7. Margin of error at =/-5.8(higher than most polls) and the undecided at 10% I wouldn't put much to this last minute poll. The only poll that is totally accurate is the the one that comes out on Monday night.
  8. Bubber, My locks don't lock me out and my dog's bark will scare the crap out of any potential criminal. Buy a dog,a real dog. It will keep you secure and make you feel like Layton's is near by when you get loney at night.
  9. BubberMiley, For $50 you can get locks that solve your problem. Go to a Home Depot and talk to the lock guy there. Or spend $150 and call in a uniionized locksmith that will tell you the same thing.
  10. Ford's announcement that it will cut more jobs in Canada, now that scares me.
  11. Urge everyone to Vote on Monday Most here I'm sure will vote, but I urge you to get others to vote as well. The issues are important to Canada and Canadians . It matters not who you may support, show that support by voting on Monday.
  12. Eureka, Your fringe party of long ago that you supported, died a death when no one supported it. Your party then wasn't in favour of Liberals, yet today you support them after having supported the NDP. Like your fringe party, you convince no one but yourself. "Intellectuals are people who believe that ideas are of more importance than values. That is to say, their own ideas and other people's values." -Gerald Brenan
  13. Add to these the "Foundations" that Shelia Fraser wasn't allowed to look at. Billions sitting in accounts untouched and not being able to be seen. Martin and the Liberals will pay the price for their hidden agenda if all of this is looked at.
  14. Eight of the nine judges were appointed by Liberals. The judge who just retired was considered a conservative judge. Harper will appoint a judge to replace him. If Harper's judge is conservative, then by your statement it makes the others Liberal. The next time a judge will be replaced is expected to be in 2013. Tell me Eureka, who will be in power then? Harper?Liberals?Conservatives? How long will it take to stack the Supreme Court with Conservative judges? Get realistic.
  15. Eureka, Why don't you ressurect your old socialist fringe party platform of yesteryear and tell us why your perfect government didn't get the support from the masses. Why do you constantly mock other people's choices. Give it a break and stop demeaning the people who post here with their ideas. If your ideas were so righteous you would be running for office and running this country. Your not,so loosen up.
  16. Like the Quebec Federalist Liberals going to the Conservatives in Quebec to retain their Federalist desires instead of giving their votes to the Bloc,I see the many Liberals lending their votes to the NDP because they know this Martin Liberal government is finished, and give hopes to a better group running the show next time round. The NDP'ers this time around won't give the Liberals their vote because they know the Liberals aren't deserving of support and would be better to stay with Layton in order to be a potential watch dog to anything the Conservatives might do.NDP seats should increase substantially. How this will affect the Conservative numbers with Liberal votes moving might still make for a majority for the Conservatives by default.
  17. uni.ca rates the leaders on unity How right are the uni.ca people on their report card for the leaders when it comes to unity?
  18. Tories to easily win minority Check the article out Norm.
  19. Spar, I agree with all of your points, and the issue of national unity is the surprise bonus in this election with the Conservatives winning. I don't think anyone would have believed that Quebec federalists would have shown the support for the Conservatives over the Liberals as they have. Add to that an Albertan leading the country, the separation talk from that province will diminish. A conservative win may be our last best hope to keep this nation from falling apart. A Liberal win will only increase the animosity between provinces and the Federal government, and the likelihood of Quebec separation.
  20. False allegations from Liberal office mar Sask. televised candidates' forum Que. Liberal candidate Flip-flops And on and on it goes.....
  21. Toronto Star January 18,2006. Toronto Star endorses Liberals in Editorial Editorial: Liberal program best for Canada Are there any Liberals left in Quebec? CTV
  22. Dalton always did seem a little "short."
  23. From Don Martin's column Jan.17,2006 Not a Dumb remark but an east coast funny.
  24. Biblio Bibuli, I thought I was helping you out. I withdraw my offer,it's the battle of the numbers. My rev. 4 numbers to yours. Good Luck! We may both be wrong if Doug Fisher is right .He's been around Ottawa since Diefenbaker. Considered the GodFather of the parliamentary press gallery. Here's his prediction: Doug Fisher
  25. Biblio Bibuli, Just for interest . How about within plus or minus three? -CES
