FoxNews: MSNBC admitted it was "unaware" that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign paid $500,000 to Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network nonprofit ahead of a friendly interview with the Democratic nominee ahead of Election Day. First off, i call bullshit on PPMSLSD being "unaware" that Sharpton and Harris were crooked. But, beside that point, how often does this happen? I really think we need to look at those books and see where these billions are going. If she did it with Sharpton, you know she did it multiple times. It sure would explain the treatment she got on 60 Minutes.4 points

All of what I said is true. And yes, trump has one for now and we have a completely lackluster leader who was probably bought and paid for by trump before he even got elected. That's our bad. But that's today. History is going to be a lot longer than just today. The pendulum always swings buddy.2 points

Buddy, you didn't just "not care" when fascism came to Canada; you jumped into it with both jack-booted feet. You were a loud proponent of forcing people to take a dangerous injection that they didn't need, forcing people to present a gesundheitspass to go to public spaces, the freezing of people's bank accounts, the police beating peaceful protesters after they had surrendered on their knees, the PM randomly calling all the unjabbed "racists and misogynists", the closing of schools & churches, denying people the right to have weddings and funerals, all of which was based on blatantly ridiculous & now completely debunked lies and pseudoscience. For you to sit there and accuse other people of being apathetic towards fascism shows you to be completely devoid of self-awareness.2 points

Right....the Jays are still considered a small market team media-wise despite Toronto's world class size. ( Plus hockey gets more attention up north.) I live near a small market American League team (Twins) so we know the drill. Twins won in '91 and the Jays took over the next two years. It's just better when the small market teams beat the Yankees and Dodgers with their big money players and contracts.2 points

The Liberals spent $23 billion of our money on green initiatives last year. Despite all the spending and all the regulations, the 'green economy' has only grown from 3.1% to 3.6% of Canada's economy in the last decade. When is enough...enough? Because we don't call every single thing in the world Marxist or communist. In fact despite your rantings it actually doesn't come up very often. But everything is racist. MATH is racist. All conservatives are Nazis and fascists. Everything is a genocide, etc etc etc If a conservative call someone somewhere a communist once then there's 100,000 democrats: Half of the world nazis five times a day It doesn't take people long to realize you're dishonest and then they don't listen1 point

My favourite teams are 1) the Jays and 2) whoever is playing the Yankees. But TBH, the longer it has been since the Yankees won, the less I am against them. Their one championship since 2000 didn't really bug me. Still, I really liked seeing teams like 'Zona, Anaheim, Kansas City, St L, the White Sox, and especially the Cubbies win it in recent years. That Cubs SS grinning ear-to-ear while he was picking the grounder to get the last out was also a favourite play of mine. Baseball can be painfully boring for long stretches, yet it also provides a lot of the most riveting and memorable moments in all of sports. PS: I've been rooting for the Phillies in recent years, but they seem to be destined to be one of those "always the bridesmaid but never the bride" teams.1 point

The U.S. is not a democracy...it is a constitutional republic, working as designed. No big deal...there were major assassinations in 1963 and 1968, yet America did not collapse. America should not ever be the economic engine of the world, and growth is still far better than in Canada. Canada couldn't find its own ass with a flashlight when it comes to defence procurements. It is only a domestic political game while Canadian Forces suffer with rotting kit...has for decades. Over 1200 F-35 strike fighters have been delivered worldwide to date, and guess which country is a Tier 3 supplier to that program ? I like what is happening...no glasses required. America has always been far more dynamic than Canada, which worries so much about what the Americans are doing.1 point

They can’t. It’s why he ignores it and refuses to actually address it. It’s a dumb dishonest childish game. If one person falls off a building at a job site, because he had no safety harness and no railing, we don’t throw up our arms and say oh well, that’s just one anecdotal story, nothing to see here… no, we point out rightly that there were no railings and no safety harness and if there were the person would still be alive today. People like @Michael Hardnercant intelligently defend their positions so they obfuscate instead, or hide like cowards.1 point

What reason might you be able to come up with to justify this...disgusting situation Brandon and his administration created?1 point

Life expectancy is due to many factors, and can't be used as a substitute for measuring the efficiency or effectiveness of the healthcare system. For example, and I can post it if anyone disagrees, the OECD is constantly measuring healthcare among its members and when it comes to wait lists, Canada is dead last. There are ways to persuade the provinces to agree to things like one central purchasing body for drugs and one central insurance scheme. Like, refuse to pay otherwise.1 point

This is not polling. This is simple economic measurement easily repudiated if it's wrong. Anything conservative would be termed 'economically right wing' and ONLY a conservative organization would ever post information critical of the government's climate change spending. And it's as mucha 'propaganda machine' as the CBC and Toronto Star. You people on the fringe left always instantly dismiss everything that comes from any even moderately conservative source without even attempting to repudiate the actual information itself.1 point
-
So you're saying the 'green economy' is actually much, much larger? Is that it? It's just like.. invisible. The Fraser Institute is a conservative organization, which is why your ilk automatically ignores what it says. You're waiting for the CBC or Toronto Star to come out and dismiss the spending as wasteful. Which, of course, will never happen.1 point

More likely p!ss off Canadians and give the Liberals a majority. The only good that would come from another election would be getting PeePee out of our lives for good. Yesterday Rosemary Barton asked "You are not going to support the budget. After losing an election, saying Carney's the worst and then support the budget." PeePee froze, then pivoted, looking like the id!ot he is. Watch it at 7:18 of the video. It's hilarious! https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.69637721 point

I suspect that what's really pissing off Donnie Dicko is the fact that we're actually negotiating and not just bending over and giving Trump what he wants, like so many other countries are doing. That's why he hated Chrystia Freeland. How dare she stand up to the Americans and hold out to get a good deal?1 point

I know it's been said by me and others several times but this is the thing that upsets me the most. There is not a single thing that they accuse trump out that they did not do in massive amounts first and they were warned repetitively when they were doing these things that if they did it would open the door to the next guy doing it back to them if they didn't put a stop to it and complain to their party now. Instead they cheer their party on. Now everything they were warned about has come to pass and they're staring around like it's a big surprise. And worse they're angry that we're not upset more now that someone they don't like is doing it.1 point

This is insane. Removing firearms from criminals, who are not supposed to have them in the first place, is the right thing to do. I swear...people like this @robosmith and @Hodad are a danger to society. Traitorous to the core. I just watched some dumb b1tch on 60 Minutes, try to make Trump look bad. He was honest with her and she wound up with egg all over her face. These people dont give a rat's a55 about America or Democracy or public safety or anything that could commonly be identified as sane. Their entire world revolves around hatred of Orangemanbad. Even though his first 10 months have been a massive success for America and it's citizens. Thus...simply put... They are traitors to America and to humanity itself.1 point

Don't you think intent has importance? In the case of illegals, the intent was to allow people that expressly violated the law to do so without consequences that led to new consequences for those that were not involved. Versus ICE mistakenly detaining and then releasing those with the legal right to live in the US.1 point

Alberta has come moderately close to having the support necessary to separate a couple of times, and I remember those times. It's just doesn't feel like it's got the same steam or energy. But I don't know that it needs to. I think that smith's goal here is to make separation seem plausible enough that the feds can't ignore it and have to sit down and cave to some of her demands. Which is pretty much how Quebec has operated forever.1 point

I think Dave Roberts did a really good job this series. Kept his cool. Never looked panicked once. Schneider made more adjustments while playing with a lead or a tie than Roberts did playing from behind. Jays scored in bunches at times, but Dodgers found ways to win the closer ones. I think some of the Dodgers players were a little off this series while some of the Jays were playing a bit hotter, but they still managed to win it. Dodgers were clearly the team with more experience. No bold moves. No heroics. Just stuck to the game plan. Schneider put in a pinch runner for Bo in the ninth to try to get the win before extra innings. Second time in the series that he sacrificed a good batter to win now. But Roberts was completely comfortable going into to extra innings and taking as long as it took to score. Love that Jays team though. So many fun characters.1 point

Canadian politics aside, it would have been better for MLB had Toronto won the Series. After crushing the much hated Yankees, the Jays broke Seattle's heart in seven, and gave L.A. all it could handle. The 18 inning instant classic was very entertaining no matter what the outcome. Winning for the first time since 1993 (also the last Stanley Cup win) against a big money market and media team like the Dodgers makes for a much better story. They came so close to getting it done.1 point

Can't we speculate the same thing about the Germans and Russia? I like the idea of building drones, submarines seem olde fashioned. I bet we could station a lot more stockpiles of drones throughout the Arctic a lot more cheaply than maintaining the handful of subs that'll ever be on station and that aren't in drydock being maintained. Shore based drone stations would be full time all the time.1 point

LOL. Digital IDs go far beyond a mere SIN number, MH. Digital IDs can be read by proximity alone, you don't need to pull them out of your wallet and hand them over in order for the information on them to be accessed. Can a machine read your mind as you go past it, to figure out what your SIN number is? I'm pretty sure that's not a thing yet. If you don't believe me about the proximity reading of digital IDs then carry someone's Nexus card with you when you cross the border next time. If a Nexus pass is sitting in your car, their sensors detect it. 100%. So, if you're a guy whose digital ID alerts police that you've donated to the conservatives as you merely walk past them, you are automatically gonna be red-flagged in a country that's under the direct control of the Locust Plague of Commies. The police will turn their attention to you, and they won't be notified at all if a pedophile walks past them on the other side. FYI a digital ID is the key component of a social credit scoring system.1 point

Give it up with your Americanized vocabulary. It is Public Health care, if every country in the world uses it except the USA then let them continue to fool their citizens by portraying it as a socialist horror. It isn't, can't be classified as such and sure as hell shouldn't be handed over to the free market. What's next that's socialist? Fire Dept? Police? Pensions? Not denying some fixes are needed, but giving in to the populist concept that smashing things = fixing things is beyond stupidity.1 point
