  1. What an amazing virus. It attacks different age groups as soon as the vax becomes available for them.

  2. This whole "carbon is the evil and stopping carbon fuels is the solution" is nothing but a ruse to avoid the REAL problems. Of course, at the very top of the list is population (over-population to be more precise). Problem is, developed nations do NOT contribute to that, so the UN gives a nod to developing nations to continue to doom the planet by reproducing like rabbits. Number 2 is globalization: we have displaced so much of our economy to third world and second world where environmental controls are non-existent and then stick the whole mess (that will need to be replaced ever few years due to the dismal QA/QC in place) on ships and move everything constantly around the globe for no other reason than to facilitate quick (and very dirty) profits. #3 (but maybe should be #1 right now) is poisoning the oceans to the extent it will no longer tolerate our filthy lifestyle. Somewhere around #4 is issues regarding carbon emissions. The amount of pollution from such idiocy as mining lithium to make batteries for EVs is far, far worse of a problem - and one that moronic governments promote and subsidize since they seem to be far too ignorant of the state of the ecosystems but more likely far too likely to benefit from playing with and profiting from the "solution" providers.

  3. The left is just going to keep banning jobs. Forestry, gas, oil, etc. They actually think it’s going to help make Canada better. They’re insane.

  5. Seriously man... I wouldn't mind taking on the issue of whether abortion law, for instance is a case of taking or giving of rights. But if I do this thread degenerates into something different than its intended topic. The "special bathrooms" item made me smile. Which right to "special bathrooms" is he talking about? Does he mean the "special bathrooms" like the one in Virginia where the male student in the dress anally raped a young girl in that "special bathroom?" Is Roush worried because the GOP objects to that kid rapist's "special rights?"

  6. "Trust the science." Coercion is not science. Withholding data is not science. Manipulating data is not science. Cherry-picking studies is not science. Social conditioning is not science. Fear-mongering is not science. Pharma propaganda is not science.

  7. Yes, I will go and pray to my God, the true God of the Bible, who created you. Will pray for people like you too. Mocking God and worship of God is the road to hell, not a pleasant place to spend eternity. The comrades in hell will be Communists, thieves, murderers, all haters of everything and everybody. But Jesus Christ saves and there is still time.

  9. The standard of politicians has really gone down. Biden has run for President before but previously was not even close to win the nomination. Many people ask is Biden really the best the Dems have got? Looking at the primaries, Tulsi Gabbard is not enough attached to the prevailing narrative and Sanders is too far to the left for the Americans. The rest of them truly were even worse than Biden.

  10. If oil and coal are to be replaced as sources of energy, it will take renewables and all the nuclear and hydroelectric generation necessary to fill the gap. Population reduction could dramatically decrease the reliance on nuclear. In order to reduce population we would have to rethink our ponzi scheme mentality that perpetual population growth was essential to maintain present living standards. Is there any other way of stabilizing or reducing harmful emissions on a world wide basis? The west exporting its pollution (and manufacturing) to china might look good on paper but solves nothing.

  11. I doubt you understand anything about the sustainability of the BC Forest Industry. It is already sustainable and has been for decades. It has been managed by the BC Ministry of Forests with complex and involved regulation and licencing. Replanting of logged areas has been a part of the sustainability for decades. Clear-cutting is the only way forests can be logged. It is not practicable to leave a tree standing here or there. They would most likely die and rot away anyway if left like that. The equipment required for logging and the nature of logging requires it to be done on a clear-cut basis. It is difficult to move the large logging equipment around if a tree is left standing in the way here and there. It would not be economical to try to do it that way and likely trees left standing would be damaged or die because of the need to disturb the surrounding area with machinery and dragging out trees across the surface. It is better to replant a logged off area. They also leave untouched green forested areas along the sides of rivers and creeks. But even with clear-cutting being done, there are still vast areas of untouched forests everywhere. There are also many parks and preserved areas already in B.C. The forest industry does not cause climate change or harm the ecosystem. Logging is well-regulated already in B.C. The main problem is the Mother Earth worshipers and their NDP servants who have a hate for mankind and want to shut down Canada's key industries such as the oil and gas industry and here now, the forest industry. They simply don't care for people and families and prefer to preserve the whales and forests in a pristine untouched state. People need good-paying jobs to be able to buy a home which are very expensive these days and support their families. Environmentalists could care less about that. Much of this environmental radicalism is supported by big money from U.S. millionaires and billionaires, who often think of Canada as their hunting, fishing, wilderness vacation spot. I know for a fact some of these wealthy and influential people fly into remote areas of B.C. to hunt and fish and of course they don't like the idea of clear-cuts or logging. If you fly over B.C. you will actually see mostly untouched mountains and forests.

  12. What is “white culture”? If it’s “imperceptible”, wouldn’t that by definition mean that you can’t tell it’s happening? Could that be an over-active imagination?
