Case? What case? You don't actually have a right to post on a website. Part of the problem is hysterical people who confuse rights with options. You don't have a right to go into a McDonald's but if you follow whatever rules they lay down, you have the option.2 points

Except you are talking in a bubble. There is no "case" here, and there is no authority that will reverse this or do anything about it. Someone had a comment removed. It's actually a very minor event in the lives of everyone on earth including those directly involved. You see Cougar, sometimes in this world people just don't get what they want. I know it makes you want to pout, but you can thank me for helping you understand things a little better.1 point

Who said that? I pointed out the economic FACT that doubling the workforce lowers the value of labour. I said nothing about what should or should not have happened. You simply read things into other people's words born out of your own ideological fervour. Maybe because their educational choices sucked? Or maybe because of such high immigration! Do you know that two thirds of Canadian software engineering grads leave the country because of low ages here - low wages caused by the floods of immigrants and temporary workers the government brings in. There are taxation rules which could be implemented around such things but the government has never tried. It's a lot of them. You yourself brought up the topic of immigrants in fast food places. why are they there? Why would we bring in immigrants to do shit jobs? Because Canadians won't do them because the wages are low because companies don't have to pay more because YOU and people like you insist on flooding the country with immigrants! Don't blame the corporations for low wages. You're the one at fault. You and others who support mass immigration. When I was younger I was a security guard. We signed up with a union to improve wages. You know what the company did? It locked us all out and brought in a bunch of immigrants to do the work. Your immigration views are enthusiastically shared by the big corporations which want to pay low ages. Grats on having such great morality. Name? Was it by any chance the immigration lawyer whose job and profits depend on high immigration? Or was it merely someone who agreed with you and thus instantly became a 'poster who knows more'. I've been tired of you since you arrived. Eager to see you and your whiny ignorance depart.1 point

They people who scream at low level workers because of this need to be arrested, dragged out to rural farms and made to pick apples or something for a few weeks or months until they learn there are more important things than their bullshit conspiracy theories.1 point

A proper conservative would have had multiple pipelines built to the coast by now. Not to mention LNG terminals. Australia has multiple LNG terminals. They're sure enjoying the huge increase in international natural gas prices! Making a fortune! Meanwhile, Canada can't even get one built.1 point

Yup the Liberal Party have long been hand maidens of the Chi Coms. Recall Martin and his shipping concerns?1 point

Those who abuse workers should be heavily fined at a minimum of $25000 per case and those who use physical violence or threat of physical violence must be put n jail for first case (and if it was up to me I throw away the key for 6 months). This kind of behaviors is unacceptable and should be dealt with as severely as possible. These violent abusive people who think they are entitled should not walk free among civilized population.1 point

That goes both ways. I notice no comment from any of the people here who are militantly pro-forced injections, on the article where the government/media/health officer has been found lying about deaths from covid. So don't bother bleating about how other people aren't listening to facts. You are ready to abolish the Nuremburg Code, the Canadian Constitution, persecute your fellow citizens for exercising their universal human rights, refuse to acknowledge the government's and media's part in any of this debacle and just continually whine "It's all the unvaxxed fault! It's all the unvaxxed fault!! Waaaa! Waaaaaa." Chickens with your heads cut off, running around screeching and parroting whatever you're told to parrot.1 point
-
You already know why. I agree with the hard-fought for human right of bodily autonomy and democratic freedom. You do not. That's fine. But we disagree about this. Why are you ONLY blaming the unvaxxed, O brainwashed one, who only listens to MSM? Please, explain to us all why you believe both the Nuremburg Code and the Canadian Constitution should be abolished.1 point

1) A restaurant can't refuse you service because you're black, but sites discriminate against commentary that is accurate and highly appropriate, but unwanted (ie, conservative). You're protecting the restriction of people's right to free speech, and being coy about it because you personally like this brand of particular discrimination. That's disgusting. FYI CBC, which cougar mentioned specifically, is a public broadcaster. I pay them a lot more taxes than most people do, they have no right to stifle my opinion as a taxpayer.1 point
-
In reverse order: You do have a right to post on a site when the right is granted to you by the site owner - like CBC in this case, and this forum, where we post now. The case is that one personal opinion is published while the opposite opinion is removed after it is published. The opinion did not contain offensive language or anything against CBC posting rules. In other ways, it is an example of manipulation of public opinion by CBC.1 point

Not 100% sure but CBC did report on it. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/ivermectin-covid-alberta-nagase-1.62050751 point

This makes more sense to me. They actually treat people to keep them from going to the hospital and will treat them in the hospital. I have no proof they are doing this but it would make sense. Yes....that is the story of the ER doctor that gave three patients ivermectin and two of the the three made dramatic turnarounds with the other one stopping the deterioration. Again, why not try it if it doesn't hurt.1 point

Only the very elderly and people with co-morbidities are at an elevated risk of dying from Covid. I never limited covid's threat to 'terminally ill people'. The only claim I've related here, that was to that extent, actually came from my Dr who said that "the vaxxed deaths came from chemo patients, etc". The risk level that I personally stated has never changed since about June of last year, afer a significant amount of data had rolled in from the US. People over 40 should take covid seriously. Chain-smokers, morbidly obese, and people who are just very unhealthy in general should probably treat covid the same as a 75 yr old with a heart condition would.1 point

Not surprising given who appointed him. Trudeau and his party are very big fans of China.1 point

I also was reading about your case in BC where they are flying out patients because the hospital is "overwhelmed". A nurse from up there commented on the article, that we are not being told the truth - the truth is that instead of having 20 nurses up there, there is only 5 due to healthcare cuts.1 point

This is the governmental and media propaganda I am talking about that needs to STOP. A couple weeks ago, Alberta announced it's first teenager had died of Covid: Alberta reports youngest COVID-related death to date - CityNews Edmonton Kenney and Hinshaw made special public announcements regarding this case - using this young man's death as fodder for propaganda. The family is livid about it: Shared post - So many lies (locals.com) This isn't the only time this has been done. I know personally of a family whose mother was recovering nicely with a mild case of covid and then she got that flesh-eating disease. She eventually passed in hospital, after undergoing 6 (SIX!!) skin debridings. They listed her death as "from covid". That family, that I know personally, was also livid and argued with he doctor over this. They didn't have the emotional or mental strength the deal with it though after everything they went through with their mother. So kudos to this young man's family for fighting back. I suspect we're going to see more of this. I also think this is why so many in healthcare are bucking the shots - they see the false narratives being touted in the headlines and that it is not working. They also see all the adverse reactions and many have commented on the staggering increases in heart attacks and strokes following the vax. So why the lies? And how many more cases are complete and utter BS? Kenney and Hinshaw still have not issued a correction or an apology to this family. And what is the point of "testing" someone for covid 2 days before they die? (And don't tell me they didn't know he was going to die - as a death doula, I'm trained in recognizing the signs of imminent death, as nurses/doctors also are.) (Danielle Smith is an amazing investigative journalist from AB - it was her interview with Lt. Col. David Redman that I watched early in this whole debacle, where he slammed the government for not following pandemic protocols that were already set in place. I recommend you watch it, if you can still find it on YouTube. It was through The Western Standard publication.)1 point

Don't ascribe your emotionalism to me. I'm merely stating a logical and economic fact. Capitalism works on the incentives people have to improve themselves by gaining more skills and looking for better jobs. It was certainly motive for me to not settle for the crap jobs I had when I was young and to keep plugging away, keep trying to improve myself, keep looking for better paying jobs. I love how you're so 'compassionate' with other people's money. The Left always does this. It pretends its own views are the moral ones and the ones made by the right are cruel and immoral. Bullshit. You want to give people enough money so they 'settle' for that, robbing them of the motivation to improve themselves, robbing society of a labour force which is continually improving itself and increasing its production, putting a heavy burden on wage earners and companies. Lower wage jobs might not pay enough for a good living but you're not going to starve on them unless you're a moron or have too many expensive vices. Take the bus and share an apartment like I did. I'm merely stating an economic fact, you old crone. Though I understand how facts outage the Left.1 point

Grizzly sow and cub less than half a mile from my house in the community of Cedarbrae Calgary Canada.... we are a city with a population of 1.3 million ... we are located close to the Rocky Mountain range against (or in) the foothills ... this is incredible !!!!! Those are the backs of peoples houses along Southland Drive SW .... that is a bike path they are running along side ... I use that pathway almost every single day ... on my late night rides I have thought about coming across something like these Bears but dismiss it as irrational fear ... I guess i'm wrong and my senses are right !!!!!! Wasn't sure where to post this but here it is anyway !!1 point

Yeah, I get it, because the protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to use the protection that didn't protect the protected, right? I missed something. Who are the "dumb asses" again?1 point

Haha, that's very kind. I believe healthcare should also look after people's emotional needs, sometimes it can make all the difference and it's an important part of healthcare that our leaders seem to care little about. Especially when they are just making rules to punish and control now - a la Dr. Patricia Daly. There has been absolutely zero concern over people's mental and emotional health since this began.1 point

In the 1960's, the KGB conducted some fascinating psychological experiments and they learned this: The y learned that if you bombard human subjects with fear messages nonstop, in 2 months or less most of the subjects are completely brainwashed to believe the false message. To the point that no amount of clear information they are shown to the contrary can change their mind. I think too many people want so badly for this virus to be something it's not - an actual threat that validates the way they've behaved and the trauma they've put themselves, their children and others through. Most people would rather continue living the lie, than admit they were lied to.1 point

I would agree if it were a case of law abiding people defending their own homes, except the term 'mutual combatants' implies something more like gang warfare. If i lived in an area where something like that happened i wouldn't be so easy to accept it. Neither should law enforcement or the district attorney's office. Not a single charge laid, not even disturbance of the peace? No wonder why things are so out of control.1 point

If people don't want to get vaccinated, fine, but they'll have to accept the consequences of their decisions. Harassing staff is unacceptable and should be punishable by a hefty fine, although we don't have the resources for that, unfortunately.1 point
