Though young and healthy, unvaccinated father dies of COVID MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Healthy and in their 30s, Christina and Josh Tidmore figured they were low-risk for COVID-19. With conflicting viewpoints about whether to get vaccinated against the virus filling their social media feeds and social circles, they decided to wait. On July 20, Josh came home from work with a slight cough initially thought to be sinus trouble. On Aug. 11, he died of COVID-19 at a north Alabama hospital as Christina Tidmore witnessed a doctor and her team frantically try to resuscitate her husband. … “Josh was completely healthy, active, not a smoker.” He would have turned 37 on Saturday. Doctors say they are seeing a spike in cases among young adults and children as the highly contagious delta variant sweeps through unvaccinated populations. Medical officials say there is conflicting information on whether it makes people more severely ill or whether young people are more vulnerable to it, but it’s clear the contagiousness means more young people and children are getting sick. “There is no question that the average age of people who are being hospitalized is going down,” State Health Officer Scott Harris said Friday…. https://apnews.com/article/health-coronavirus-pandemic-32b7763e53ec1c77b18e842a264ecb03 LA man who mocked Covid-19 vaccines dies of virus Stephen Harmon, a member of the Hillsong megachurch, had been a vocal opponent of vaccines, making a series of jokes about not having the vaccine. "Got 99 problems but a vax ain't one," the 34-year-old tweeted to his 7,000 followers in June. He was treated for pneumonia and Covid-19 in a hospital outside Los Angeles, where he died on Wednesday. In the days leading up to his death, Mr Harmon documented his fight to stay alive, posting pictures of himself in his hospital bed. "Please pray y'all, they really want to intubate me and put me on a ventilator," he said. In his final tweet on Wednesday, Mr Harmon said he had decided to go under intubation. "Don't know when I'll wake up, please pray," he wrote. Despite his struggle with the virus, Mr Harmon still said he would reject being jabbed, saying his religious faith would protect him.….. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-57958358 A mom of 4 who died of covid days after her husband makes one final wish: ‘Make sure my kids get vaccinated’ Out of options, the Galveston, Tex., mother of four, asked her family to make a promise: “Please make sure my kids get vaccinated,” Rodriguez, a piano teacher, told her sister during their last phone call. The two women warned others not to think they are invulnerable to the dangers of the virus. The father of one, John Eyers, a construction expert from Southport in Merseyside, was described by his sister Jenny McCann as “the fittest, healthiest person I know”. She added that her brother had been climbing Welsh mountains and camping in the wild four weeks before his death. Jonathan EdwardsAugust 5, 2021 at 7:04 a.m. EDT The month before, Apley had responded to what Baltimore’s former health commissioner was heralding as “great news” — clinical trials showed that the Pfizer vaccine was effective at fighting the coronavirus, including one of the recent variants, for at least six months. “You are an absolute enemy of a free people,” Apley wrote in a Twitter reply. And on Friday, the 45-year-old Dickinson City Council member republished a Facebook post implying that vaccines don’t work. Two days later, Apley was admitted to a Galveston hospital with “pneumonia-like symptoms” and tested positive for coronavirus, according to an online fundraising campaign. He was sedated and put on a ventilator. On Wednesday, he died, members of his county’s party announced on social media. He's not a journalist. And you had to go back four years to find it. And you constantly take this sanctimonious, superior attitude to question finer details even while being unable to dispute the bulk of the allegation which is angering you. You search back for years for a few contrary opinions on a single subject and then gleefully wave them aloft as if this is anything more than you being pedantic.2 points

JT’s first problem is that the election call was unpopular. Most people don’t see a need for one now. Secondly, O’Toole comes across as a calm, reasonable and reassuringly uncharismatic candidate not too affected by the zanier enthusiasms of the right, so it’s hard to paint him as a fire-breathing extremist. His personal story plays well too, especially when compared to the incumbent. However, the protesters at Trudeau’s rallies are a serious matter and could swing sympathy behind him if things deteriorate. I give Singh credit for raising two issues that bested our last two PMs - the cell phone oligopoly and the inability of CRA to get to grips with tax evasion and the ‘completely legal’ loopholes enjoyed by Trudeau’s trust fund buddies.2 points

I posted a link to a study (The Lancet or equivalent) of flu complications in the US, should be able to find it still if interested. Cannot promise perfect memory, but I think around 2013 season there were 300,000 hospitalizations due to flu complications with a population of just under 300,000 or 0.1% risk across all age groups. It has to be significantly higher in the risk groups. According to Ontario demographics these groups are about 25% of the population (all ages). Now, the risk of hospitalization by age can be found here. We have one quarter of the population with 95 times higher risk of severe outcomes than the reference group 18-29. What does it tell to an intelligent researcher and policy maker? That if the infection could not be eliminated entirely (and in the second year it does not appear any nearer) the focus has to shift to finding and implementing effective protection for the vulnerable; best treatment for those who need it; providing the society with accurate and honest information; and letting it be as normal as possible otherwise.2 points

We kept on building that bright future - one parking lot at a time, one estate at a time, a bridge here, another one there, doubling highways and pipelines, constantly building new ones, "harvesting" the forests, wildlife and fish in the most "sustainable" ways. We went "green" many years ago. We had habitat conservation organizations in place since the beginning of last century, when most wildlife populations were still in decent shape and most of the forests were still there. They are not there any more! But we hear our leaders will "act" as they take climate change "seriously". No they will not. They never have and never will. Fighting a wildfire also has its environmental impacts - fossil fuels are burnt , which again contribute to the burning of the fires, warming up the atmosphere and creating more extreme events down the road. The burnt structures and equipment will need to be replaced - again new damage to the environment as new trees need to be removed and new mines developed to produce what was destroyed. But those events become more frequent and more extreme, with heavier damages and the need to spend more time, effort and do more damage to replace what was lost. A vicious circle of which our stupid mankind will not recover. So, unlike most, I kind of welcome the damage and smoke. I hope those affect the bigger cities, where the millions of consumers and politicians are hiding and talking about conservation while hoping things will continue the way they were in the foreseeable for them future. This song is from 1971. Just imagine the impacts our mankind has had on the environment since then!1 point

The behavior of some within the protest groups is pretty bad. Dropping f-bombs and throwing stuff is unacceptable but you call these actions Nazi tactics? Nazis exterminated people, had concentration camps. These kinds of actions are in fact not typical Cons behavior. The behavior of these guys is actually a lot more like leftist mobs. Think antifa or BLM. I hope you have noticed that conservatives have condemned this behavior.1 point

I see the CINO anti-semitism begins to rear its ugly head. I know I promised not to deal with your 'Strawmen' until you admitted Liberty Daily was right and you were wrong but this is just too delicious... The National Post says: So I looked it up. Bloomberg has an interactive map updated to September 6: https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/covid-vaccine-tracker-global-distribution/ What I see when I run my cursor over it is: Israel - 78.2 doses administered Spain - 72.3 France - 68.5 If you scroll down they also say the following" "Israel was first to show that vaccines were bending the curve of Covid infections. The country led the world in early vaccinations, and by February more than 84% of people ages 70 and older had received two doses. Covid cases declined rapidly, and a similar pattern of vaccination and recovery repeated across dozens of other countries." I see the confusion though. If you scroll down again they've divided it into different categories. One of them is "fully vaccinated." It's doses administered vs fully vaccinated. So if I believe the national Post the under 70 crowd of orthodox Jews and Palestinians are reluctant to to get both doses of vaccine. Very well. So what? Are you now saying Sweden should only have banned the under 70 population of orthodox Jews and Palestinians because they are responsible for the radical spike in infections? I don't think we've seen your support for the idea that only the unvaccinated spread the infection? Only a lot of smoke and mirrors about who's fully vaccinated. For now what we know for sure is Sweden a country that has never locked down or issued mask mandates is banning a country's citizens from entry that did. Just like Liberty daily said.1 point

The only time anyone will know as to whether they are getting some flu or not is when they end up having a fever and breathing problems. And what did everyone do when they got those two symptoms? They stayed at home or should have stayed at home. The only reason why most people will get the flu is because of their immune system has gone downhill. They are not getting enough vitamins and minerals into their bodies. They are not getting enough vitamin D which is free from the sun. Exercise and sleep are very important also. These new big pharma experimental covid vaccines are not doing the job that they were supposed to do. They actually do nothing to fight any flu. It is ones own body that fights the flu if the body is properly looked after. I have not had a cold or flu in years because of what I have said above and practicing what I just preached here. Why are people who have taken both jabs still getting covid? It's because the covid vaccines are not working. Now we know that the powers to be will tell us all that it will lessen the symptoms. I say all crap to that. And if those who think that they will need another booster jab to help fight off more variant covid like viruses are only fooling themselves. It will never end with just one booster shot. There will be more booster shots to follow. Booster shots will go on forever. We are being told that it is the fault of the non vaccinated ones that is the problem and is keeping these covid restrictions around. Again I say more crap. No one, not even a doctor or a scientist can prove that. I very much doubt that the big pharma globalists were waiting around until the boomers got older. The globalists big pharma machine have been pushing the use of vaccines for years long before the boomers came along or were born. Today, it is the big pharma globalists, and with the help of most of our, what I like to call them a bunch of traitor politicians, and with the help of the corporate owned globalist media like CTV/CBC and GloBull as examples are all pushing for more vaccine mandates and vaccine passports because there is a lot of money to be made from pushing vaccines. There can be no doubt about it that I really do believe that most of our politicians are in on the covid scandal game and they know that this covid bull chit is just that, total bull chit, and no doubt are probably getting kickback money on the side. It is truly sad to say that it would appear as though our dear pro globalist leaders have sold their souls to the globalist big pharma devils. What we are witnessing today is pure communism for Canada in the making. Laugh all you want too, I could care less. We have lost pretty much all of our freedoms and rights, and even though one may think that once they get their 4 or more vaccine jabs that they will be free, they are a crazy bunch of idiots. They will never be free until we the people get rid of all of these medical tyranny covid restrictions are lifted and gone. Just try avoiding your booster jab and watch what happens to you. You will then find yourself being treated as a 2nd class citizen just like the non vaccinated people are being treated today. Believe it or not. The non vaccinated people are now going to be treated like 2nd class citizen's in Canada and those that have been vaccinated could careless about our choice of not wanting to take any vaccines. These are the same people that say that they believe in freedoms and rights and choice but yet have no problems with watching the rights and freedoms and choice of the non vaccinated who will soon be denied their rights and freedoms and choice. You are all just plain a bunch of hypocrites. But if the stories that I have heard and read about are true in regards to the many people who took their two jabs and will soon be willing to take their booster jabs they will soon feel the pain. I will have the last laugh on them if what they say is true. Just remember that if you do not take your booster jab you will be on the same side as me looking in. It will and has to happen. Those vaccinated have to stay in good standing with the big pharma globalists or you will also end up on the outside looking in. And as our dear Bonnie the globalist comrade has even said that even medical exemptions are not going to give anyone a free pass. It will be take your vaccine shots or else. You are being warned. ?1 point

It's really quite amazing that you don't get the contradiction of using this to counter my argument about a lack of diverse opinions allowed in Canadian media on social issues like immigration. The postmedia and Toronto Star papers in sync decrying someone daring to question mass immigration, outrage expressed, the billboards immediately pulled down. But a columnist in the Sun says people should be allowed to talk about immigration and you hold it up gleefully as if that disputes my complaint.1 point

FYI that means that 23% of the infected people were dbl vaxxed.... and 77% were....WTF were they? Can you tell us all without making guesses or assumptions? No, you can't, so you just posted pure horseshit and you still have no fucking clue, even after you had it spelled out for you. So instead of owning it and trying to post something else that was useful, you resorted to throwing a tantrum. FYI, Moderna will definitely consider you "unvaccinated" if you have one of their shots plus a Pfizer. So will Pfizer. If you get two Moderna shots, but they're twice as far apart as is recommended, they might still consider you unvaxxed, and a lot of Canadians are in that exact boat. So "individuals who are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status" is just a completely worthless 'stat'. If you get this one wrong again you're just a complete idiot. FFS you are one of the dumbest amd most ignorant people I’ve met on the internet and that’s saying a lot! Dumb as in you don’t know much. Ignorant as in you insist on not knowing much. You’re trying to nit-pick amd refusing to read. I copied and pasted the first line only but underestimated what an ignorant troll you are. The colourful pie charts and simple labels in the link I provided clearly spell out howmay vaccinated and unvaccinated cases thwre are, how many are in the hospital and how many are in ICU. You don’t have to “go find it” it’s right there for even a higher school dropout to read amd understand. I think you know that amd that’s why you’re refusing to look or at least pretending to. It doesn’t paste easily into this chat I get it I get. People like you don’t have the attention span necessary to read or understand that’s why you dropped out of school. And desperate losers like yourself will use any excuse to avoid facing the truth. So I will chew your food and spit it in your mouth for you: Full Vaccination doesn’t guarantee you will be 100% immune nobody said that. it greatly reduces your chances of infection and if you are infected it greatly reduces your chances of serious health issues and hospitalization. That’s just a fact tour ignorant ass will have to accept https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data Last updated: September 5, 2021 at 10:28 a.m. (EST) In ICU Unvaccinated 102 Partially vaccinated 7 Fully vaccinated 12 In hospital but not the ICU Unvaccinated. 148 Partially vaccinated. 16 Fully vaccinated. 32 COVID-19 cases by vaccination status Unvaccinated. 482 Partially vaccinated 98 Fully vaccinated. 198 Vaccination status unknown. 631 point

You have to first start by accepting nothing we do is going to make the least difference to the level of CO2 in the world. We're just not that big and only contribute 1.5% of CO2. And the levels being put out by the developing world are growing by leaps and bounds, completely eclipsing the cuts made by the developed world. Hundreds of coal fired power plants are being built as you read this. So our efforts are not really about accomplishing anything so much as looking good. The goals the Liberals recently increased are not really achievable, especially given we're adding 400k people every year from immigration. That's more than four million more people in the next ten years. That's going to pump out a lot more CO2. But this is the style over substance government. The goals are meant to be impressive. That we won't actually achieve them is not really relevant.1 point

Fine. Tell me where are the right wing/conservative news organizations expressing right wing/conservative views. Name me some names of conservative columnists on the 'unacceptable' side of social issues. Who dares to write on the wrong side of gay rights, abortion, immigration, gun control, multiculturalism, the death penalty, etc.? Except that no nuance is allowed in this question. If you fail to accept that Canada is systemically racist you will likely be anathematized from and by the mainstream media. Admit you are a racist and take a goddam knee!1 point

Most of the major party plans revolve almost entirely around more taxation, the carrot and stick approach without the carrot. They ignore the dismal record of places like China so at the end of the day, what Canada does won't make a difference. Higher immigration levels to Canada will result in more of a carbon footprint. Even as Trudeau seeks to kill the oil and gas sector in Canada the dynamic of which provinces have to carry the financial load will not change. Western provinces and Ontario will always have to shoulder the economic burden for "model" provinces like Quebec. These plans are centered around taxation not innovation. Wind turbines and solar panels. Seriously?1 point

Thats because legal gun owners are to blame for all violent crime in Canada. or so the story goes, " These weopons are designed to kill people in the fastest time possiable" The only people in Canada allowed to own or operate assualt weopons are RCMP, DND and other federal and provincial depts...and the odd collector, the weapons banned by Justin were made for the public, they can't be used any where other than on a range and sports shooting..., can not be used for hunting, or any other use.... Not one even mentioned why non firing "look a like" wpns or pellet or bb guns , or airsoft are on the list, and lastly a long list of legal hunting shotguns and bolt action rifles are also on the list, thats what the public knows of so far, but the RCMP have been adding tones of new weapons' to the list... including more shotguns and bolt action rifles...None of which even fit the description of what the liberals describe as weapons' designed to kill as many people in the shortest time... But the liberals fail to mention it is illegal's to own any magazine that holds more than 5 rounds...shot guns and bolt action rifles have the same rules, none carry more than 5 rounds...with exception of pistol, mags but they have been pinned to only hold 5 rounds...having an unpinned mag in your procession means you forfeit all your weapons and privilege's of owning a firearm for life only a retard would risk everything on that...How we even got pellet , bb and airsoft's and paintball guns on the list amazing because our kids have been using these deadly firearms for dozens of years and no one has died from one yet... They use the 3 or 4 mass shootings we have had in the last 20 years as a reason why, ya i said 20 to 25 years... and yet the US has one mass shooting ever week .... But some how we need tighter gun control, for legal gun owners the illegal gun owners are safe, they don't have to turn their stuff in...1 point

The "assault style" gun ban(emphasis on "style") is another step to Trudeau's ultimate goal of a total gun ban. He and Bill Blair are just fearmongering but a lot of people will fall for it. I'm no gun expert but no fully automatic guns can be bought in Canada. Trudeau is going after semi-automatic guns today and the banned list will of course continue to grow. I did not hear all of the Trudeau/Blair act but I did notice they mention the gun lobby repeatedly but I heard nothing about getting tough on gang shootings.1 point
