  1. Speaking of things Citizen would prefer we didn't know I don't like this increasing pressure to push this experimental vaccine on kids. I don't see the reason for it and it could be dangerous. Citizen would poo poo that and call it conspiracy but I remember hearing about something called Thalidomide. In fact I met a one-armed, one-legged guy one time years ago who was a thalidomide baby. But Citizen says he likes numbers so I'd like to know if he wants to put parents who won't vaccinate their kids in a camp after reading this one below. I don't even like the idea of masking kids. I've never been convinced masks work and the idea of choking kids with CO2, putting them behind bacteria-ridden salvia contaminated soaked cloth seems dumb. Especially since they don't work and are only being pushed by virtue-signaling, power-hounds.

  2. That’s just not true. Vaccinated people can carry and spread the virus too, though likely at a lower rate. You think that the less than 20% of eligible people who haven’t been vaccinated yet are the reason the “pandemic” is persisting? Get real. Covid is forever and if public safety is the justification for continuing restrictions among vaccine-eligible age groups, there is no justification.

  3. Inconsistencies: for the record, and we will see over the coming months (and/or years?!) 1. Repeated multiple times: vaccinated population transmit significantly less than non vaccinated. Emphasis on transmit, "viral load", "aerosol volume" etc are not exact indicators of transmission. Problem: we're seeing multiples of last year's cases, with large part of population (close to 70%) fully vaccinated. Israel with large vaccinated population sees surge of cases as well. If the hypothesis was correct, it would mean that small part of non vaccinated population is responsible for majority of cases, that would translate to very high contagiousness of the current variant (up to and over an order of magnitude, i.e. 10 times of the 2020's). While higher contagiousness of delta has been reported, it's nowhere these levels, at least as far as I know. Conclusion: the official hypothesis has weakness. We need to know correct and current rates of infectivity for both immunized and non-immunized population. That is possible only with wide testing and open, honest information that cannot be assured without independent oversight and audit. 2. Vaccinated population has much lower (very much) risk of serious Covid than unvaccinated (OP and repeated quotes) Problem: with stated efficacy of vaccines, the risk of serious Covid for vaccinated should be reduced by an order of magnitude bringing it to the level of regular flu. Flu has been with us for decades; nobody closed venues and concerts because of the flu. There were never mandatory mask orders. If for the vaccinated the risk of Covid is comparable with flu why restrictions and mandatory policies are still here? When are they going away? Conclusion: the official hypothesis in inconsistent with the policies. Either the risk for vaccinated is small and the restrictions need to be removed starting immediately (with the vaccinated part over 70%). Or there's some problem with the hypothesis. And again, the society needs access to current and reliable data.

  4. If evidences shows that a fully vaccinated person has less symptoms, less sever infection, lower shedding, an argument could be made they could be transmitting the virus by more frequent social interactions. If evidences shows that an infected but unvaccinated person has more sever infection and higher shedding, they would be inclined to self isolate and seek testing. If an infected vaccinated person does not show most symptoms and as a result is unaware of the infection, they may continue to interact with the public, causing further contamination and transmission. if an unvaccinated person shows most symptoms, they are more likely to get tested, self isolate and prevent public interaction. This would suggest a fully vaccinated person is likely to transmit the virus than an unvaccinated person purely through social behavior. Has this been addressed by the health organization?

  5. The longer this virus hangs around it will continue to mutate, and while Canadians are largely protected to a degree, 3 rd world countries are severely lagging behind, this is where the virus mutates...And Canadians can't seem to help themselves and have to travel to these spots...and bring back all the latest virus back to us...

  6. Polls are sometimes very wrong, and we have not lived though the campaign yet, where all the propaganda machines will be working overtime, and the liberals are masters at this game, not Justin but his team. They have managed to convince most Canadians they will explode if they even say Conservatives....

  7. You won’t get to that number because of ineligible age groups and justifiable medical exemptions. Moreover, if you do, the goal posts will shift to a higher percentage. This is about fear, control, and restricting behaviour and freedom in the name of public safety. It’s grotesque.

  8. Really? Then why do we keep hearing about booster shots...and new variants?

  9. We’re being set up to separate people and stay home. This is the end of freedom, procreation, and community. The only way out is to end all restrictions and make it as hard as possible to put them back in place. We have to accept a higher rate of spread and hospitalization to get through this. We can’t return to lockdowns and continue restrictions forever. Actually, we can and we are. It’s clear that there’s no end to the “pandemic” unless we demand it.

  10. We have seen more government debt in the past, and our current collective debt is smaller than the US - and we Canadians have also recorded people who promise to pay - we have a CPPIB/Teacher's/CdD. Our federal spending is still within the GDP numbers. ===== But I reckon Trudeau Jnr will not get his majority. Why? The BQ. Watch for an anti-federal Liberal vote off the island of Montreal. (I haven't looked at the numbers -seats, overall, elsewhere- so I may be wrong).

  12. Canada's relevance to the world with regards to "soft power", "hard power", "seat at the table", peacekeeping, UN influence, "responsibility to protect", etc., etc., has been seriously eroded during Trudeau's tenure as prime minister. Trudeau's personal and PMO failures for several files have created a leadership and policy vacuum that will not easily be filled any time soon. China will continue to treat Canada like a chew toy as long as Justin Trudeau continues his woke reign of virtue signaling for Canada as a "post national" state. The common denominator has been Trudeau and his government, regardless of what the Americans do or don't do (Obama, Trump, or Biden). The Americans are not responsible for a Canada that refuses to be responsible for itself.

  13. Pretty much. Being a shithole country is in Afghanistan's DNA.

  14. The 'new age' RPF's think they're smarter than Mother Nature. They've had it drummed into their little 'urban brains' that fire is bad . . . take it out of the equation. With second growth logging, the ratio of debris/merchantable timber is close to even. That slash/fuel is left unburned. Re-gen tree planting is more difficult to complete, there is no cover for the seedlings, heat kills a high % of them. Slash burning makes tree planting much easier and precise, there's a good cover for the seedlings with the almost instantaneous fireweed growth, and the re-gen is shielded from the killing heat/sun. But, the 'new age' foresters know best . . . a lot of them have never been in the bush before . . . in all seasons, or laced up a pair of caulks. Many try to tell you how to log your Timber Sale . . . . wet behind the ears city folks. Meh!

  16. Obesity is such a problem with covid because covid causes inflammation. And obese people are already under a constant state of inflammation.
