  1. Good Lord... It was Trump's Warp Speed thing that cut through all the red tape that would have normally put vaccine development on a long linear path. Instead, they did what they did with the Apollo program...develop and test all at the same time...normally a bit dangerous...but these are dangerous times...right? These are dangerous times.........

  2. Really you don't know who Jack Dorsey is but you want to offer expertise on why Trump is using Dorsey's platform (Twitter) less these days? Typical. This is Jack Dorsey: Oh and Canucklehead Mitt Romney is supposed to be representing the people of Utah - not attacking their choice for President. If he opposes the view of the people of Utah he should resign.

  3. Is that what Dorsey's calling it now? Makes as much sense as the other made-up nonsense that comes squirting out both sides of his furry mouth, I guess.

  7. Vanityfair, I love it! Completely ignoring the jaw dropping testimony, and focusing on one man’s sweat. When the Supremes pull down this election, so many organizations such as Vanityfair will pretty much go crazy. Serves them all right for lying to and manipulating innocent people. Folks that chanted about non existent Russian collusion conspiracies for 3 years, now have sudden distaste for foreign influence theories since it helps Trump’s position. Facts. Evidence. Testimony. It’s going to bring down this sham of an election, AND Dominion. I’m telling you, this election battle will be one for the ages.

  8. Another tidbit or two from this video. A longtime employee of the city of Detroit, Jessie Jacob was assigned to voting duties for the election. She swore in an affidavit(under threat of perjury) that her supervisors instructed her to do several things. Don't ask for drivers license or any photo ID. Adjust the mailing date of the absentee ballots so they wouldn't appear late. This is in direct violation of what Justice Alito directed them to do. So mailed ballots coming in on the 4th, 5th or 6th, were counted when they were not allowed to. She witnessed voters being coached on who to vote for. She observed a large number of people showing up to vote that had already voted with absentee ballots, they were permitted to vote twice. She was instructed to not look for any deficiencies in the ballots. She was instructed to not look for signatures in the absentee ballots. Rudy says he has 220 affidavits just like this one in Michigan alone. Multiple affidavits saw a truck pull up to the Detroit Center at 4:30 in the morning and people ran over because they thought it was food. It was thousands and thousands of ballots. In garbage cans, bags, and cardboard boxes. An employee of Dominion and 2 republican watchers were the only non dem counters present. 60,000 to 100,000 ballots are the estimate. Many of these ballots were double and triple counted. The witnesses swear to the fact that these ballots were for Biden only. No down ticket, Biden only. This is disgusting, and I'm telling you this election was a sham. There are also over 10 precincts in Michigan and Pennsylvania that had over 100% of registered voter turn out. This just doesn't happen. Never. But these precincts saw 200 and 300% of registered voter turn out. The fix was in.

  9. We have a mix of immigrants. Canada, when compared to other Western countries, is renowned for having an extremely difficult immigration system to go through. This has been the case since Harper/Kenney implemented major changes into our system. Skilled worker applications, which make up a majority of our applications, go through a point system where people who are young, have post secondary education and have high English skills are able to make it through the competitive system. Step 1 - Meet the minimum requirement of one of the skilled worker programs and go into a pool called Express Entry Step 2 - Sit in the pool and hope to be picked. Currently, there are around 150K applications in this pool and each month, 7-9K application are selected (and more replace them). Meaning that over 95% of applications that met the minimum requirement, will not be selected and have no chance. The competition has created a situation where, someone without a job offer or Canadian work experience, must have at least a Master's degree, be under 30 years old, and have at least 9 (out of 12) in English/French, through IELTS/TEF, which are international language tests. Of course, the main applicant's family can come into Canada as dependents. You will always have people who will find ways to take advantage of any system. As far as Canadian employers and the job opportunities in Canada, from my own experience, many companies, whether it's food processing plants, farms or high skilled workers, they really don't have anyone in Canada who are willing to take the jobs OR have the skills to do them. They not only have to show that they have advertised to find Canadians, but they are also bound by strict wage rules. They cannot pay the workers below the prevailing salary for that position. If they are caught breaking the law, there are heavy fines. Immigration Canada has put in processes to audit companies to make sure that their foreign worker, who they have sponsored, are being paid correctly. If I recall, you're from the east coast. From what you see, how are immigrants viewed? Are they looked at as stealing jobs? Lowering pay? Or are they seen as being a positive?

  12. The votes were not treated equally. This is a legal, constitutional requirement. This is only one single charge out of dozens, some far more serious. You don’t have to prove your case to me, the SCOTUS will decide for both of us and America. You don’t dare to watch the video, do you? Continue on, then, in your game playing while the simple truth eludes you.

  13. Those polls also say that immigrants believe its very important to accept and exhibit Canadian culture and values. One of those values is freedom to dress how one wishes.

  14. In my post, right in front of your eyes, it says capitalism needs cheap labour to work and if Canadians can't supply it, we have to rely on immigrants. Once again, go ahead and tell actual capitalists your views and we'll see who doesn't know how capitalism works.

  15. Operation Warp Speed did play a valuable role in the development of these vaccines, in particular the one from Moderna. The US government also gave a pledge of 2B to Pfizer to purchase the vaccine when ready. The funding initiative provided a backbone to spur the research. CBC link Why Trump's Operation Warp Speed is credited with helping race for COVID-19 vaccine Politicizing information about the virus is one of the most foul things anyone can do.

  16. The Liberals, the NDP, and the media have long made it clear that ANY criticism of any aspect of a minority ethnic, cultural, religious or ethnic group is racism akin to Adolph Hitler. As is any suggestion that an immigrant can be deported for any reason.

  19. It's a stunning example of cognitive dissonance that only in the States that Trump lost have any questionable activities occurred according to the Trump Cult. Past examples demonstrate that Republicans are just as likely to 'cheat' as Democrats. Perhaps, since voting irregularities are so incredibly widespread, Democrats need to start demanding recounts and delays in the States Trump won. I mean, why not? If there's a problem, there's a problem. If there's only a problem where Trump lost, that's just stupid.

  20. The political marketplace is what it is. If you want to try and sell a platform way to the right, prepare for nobody to buy it. I suspect there may be room for deep right populist, Trumpian ideas, e.g. anti-immgration, anti-free trade, but out-and-out libertarianism isn’t going to fly. Despite flirting with the Christian crowd during the leadership contest, O’Toole sounds reasonable again, closer to the traditional Chrétienist centre of Candian politics than Trudeau, more concerned about deficits and reassuringly dull. I would consider voting for him.

  21. So Scheer and Harper refusing to march in a pride parade is 'forcing' their religious views on Canada? Sorry, bud, but your insisting they march, regardless of their religious views sounds like you trying to force your beliefs on them. And I could care less about birth control in Africa. I'm not real happy our present idiot PM is pouring billions of dollars into Africa we could use to help Canadians here.

  22. Perhaps duty for those that rushed to volunteer. But the speed at which things moved was very much dictated by the movement capacity of the European rail system on one end and the production capacity of weapons and munitions on the other. As an unintended side effect of the lull in 1915, not only did Medieval warfare in the form of catapults and trench maces occur...but great leaps forward in the use of aviation as a tool of war. Both the aircraft and airship. Not much else to do....except invent new ways....since the old had obviously stalled. Chemical warfare was the other way forward, so to speak, that turned-up in 1915. But it had so many drawbacks that it ultimately failed unless used in very specific ways. Coating the entire front with chlorine, or later, mustard agent...turns out...bothers your guys just as much as theirs...heh.

  23. Stoßtruppen Tactics...what I'm referring to...involved bypassing strongpoints with the main force while then using special weapons like flamethrowers and high explosives to reduce surrounded and isolated positions. Very effective. Used at Caporetto with tragic results for the Allies. Then employed during the infamous Ludendorff Offensive which was the WW1 version of the Ardennes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_Offensive Generaloberst Heinz Guderian...author of the Blitzkrieg, used these tactics as the basis for his thesis on modern warfare...used to the utmost effectiveness during WW2's early years.

  24. Not surprisingly, it was the Germans who first introduced the infiltration tactics that would go onto become the Blitzkrieg under Guderian's watch in WW2. Stoßtruppen...storm troopers (w/o the Nazi stuff) first saw action in 1917 on the Italian Front. The Allies went in big with the tank at about the same time. Between the two, this more or less ended the dominance of the fixed machinegun with artillery support. The Germans had tested the tactics at Verdun (1916) with mixed results and then took a year to improve their tactics before committing them in any numbers.

  25. What should be a minimum sentence for taking a life while driving impaired ?... there is no standard, The judges say every case is different , and yet the are all the same.... it involves someone that is drunk, " lets also note every driver in Canada knows it's against the law, and not tolerated in any province"...and someone that is innocent who paid for that mistake with their life..

  27. What you fail to realize is that flattening the curve means that people are getting the virus now that would have had it and recovered by now. You can't hide from the virus, you are too big. Everyone will come in contact with it eventually. If you think that we can keep spending ridiculous amounts of money for several more months and not not destroy what our parents, and grandparents have built, then you are naïve. We are leaving a legacy of debt that will be a burden for our children and grandchildren for decades, and in the end spare no one from the virus.
