Until the 1950's everyone was racist. We probably still are but in North America, it has been recognized as wrong. Before the war, it was pretty much accepted that the other races were inferior, no matter which race you belonged to. The Blackfeet oppressed, colonized and drove out the Kootenai from southern Alberta long before Europeans arrived. It is a pattern repeated all over the world. The Beaker people colonized and oppressed the indigenous people of England thousands of years ago. Churchill was a rare person who was not anti-Semitic. We tend to apply 21st century North American values to people who live(d) in a different universe.2 points

Since when did the liberals need evidence to do anything, and when they don't have it they just make stuff up, Gun Ban anyone, SNC scandal anyone, the list goes on and on....and liberals throughout the country don't care about being lied to, misinformed, ok it's all plain bullshit, but they buy into it every time, and when they do see it's bullshit, well it's leftist bullshit, and it tastes good.... ...how many times does this PM have to bend them over for them to take notice, and they still follow him around like a false god....because all liberals are the same.2 points

Culture and Race are two very different things. And why do you assume that my opinion on this is based on being force fed biased Liberal media. To a Fox News viewer, anything that's not Fox or the Rebel is Liberal tripe.1 point

The videos are all really short. They might be worth checking out to give you an example of the kind of lame arguments you'll be facing when you ask for an example of systemic racism. Would you like a 'for instance?' And it might be just be me and a kind of ideological bigotry against progressive cucks but aren't these people delivering the videos total cringe? I watched the first few seconds of both the guy and the woman and just went 'i-hhhhh...' with a shiver right down to my gut.1 point

That's not what being self-hating means. It means judging your own race, your own people, feeling contempt for your culture, values, traditions and especially history, because, you know, those people weren't woke and were racists and homophobes. Don't hand me that "You're just watching FOX" crap. I've had plenty to say about FOX and its slanted news over the past many years. You can look it up if you want. So how come when I talk about the slanted news on this coverage suddenly I'm some kind of rabid FOX watcher?1 point

There is learning and then there is brainwashing, unlearning, learning lies and indoctrination. A wise man will learn things, a foolish man allows himself to be lied to by political dis-educators. Don't touch the damned thing.1 point

You did see the media attention a 75-year-old white man who was shoved to the ground by cops got right? The outrage to all these protests speak to a level of racism that I never really could have imagined. They're not taking any of your rights away, they want more accountability for police (in their interactions with whites too). And it's working. We're seeing videos that were previously hidden showing police over-reacting to black suspects released to the public now.1 point

No I'm quite comfortable with my anger thank you. I've discovered that anger can be a very useful emotion, applying it saved my life once in a situation that could have resulted in me dying if I hadn't summoned the strength that can come with anger. It was sorta like one of those moments when a mother lifts a car off the ground with one hand while pulling her kid out from under it with the other. I'm definitely saying most are assholes about being right-wingers. Outlawing in-camera lobbying is my go-to cure-all and forcing politically frank discussion into the public sphere where it belongs. If that causes Trudeau to shrivel even more that's fine, I never voted for the idiot - can't stand the Liberals myself. If it causes the dreaded right-wing backlash we've all being threatened with then that's good too. Shitting or getting off the pot was one of your guy's ideas.1 point

Let me bring up another person's origins, one wise Jewish person once told me: Politics is like we are blind in a room and there is a statue there, some people touch the top, some the middle and the rest the bottom. The key is to talk to each other to get that full picture of the statue. We often make the mistake, I do too, we only touch one section and think we have the full picture. That is incorrect and is fanaticism. Is nothing wrong, in my opinion, to change your mind as you go in life, is the process of learning.1 point

I wore one to show some solidarity with folks that were ordered to wear one in the stores I frequented. I notice these are no longer mandatory for most store clerks now so I've stopped wearing them too. I still have one dangling from my mirror for appearances sake and emergencies. I used to be a first responder, old habit I guess. Masks always seemed like more of a social convention to me given the facts we were told about their efficacy early on along with hesitancy to encourage people to seek out proper masks thereby preventing health care providers from having enough.1 point

I think David Petraeus makes a reasonable point here about military bases in the US. None should still be named after Confederate generals:1 point

No, whats weird is most liberals seem to think that the Police are put on this earth just to harass them some how... I get it, it's all good until you need one in an emergency.... Not sure if you know exactly what policing encompasses, their is more to a police department than writing tickets, POLICE don't reduce crime, got a source for that brown, smelly piece of goo...And while you try to find a source for that, what is the plan to lower poverty, double or triple welfare checks, maybe call them something else....who pays for that ? and what prevents those in poverty from getting out of that classification, is it crime pays more, or education, getting pregnant at 14 , lack of will or drive what keeps them in their station in life ? The police budget should be increased , to provide for extra training, more equipment, more police officers, and yes perhaps some new departments that could better deal with metal health issues, massive drug problems in the our cities....And that 200 dollar ticket does not go back into the police department coffers, it goes back into the city budget to pay for anything, if your worried about speeding tickets don't speed...ya it is that simple obey the law and everything will be just fine.1 point

Boggles the damn mind now does it not!? Oh and apparently you can have sexy time.. but please wear a mask. And to think after all my years with my gal, I could not get her to wear a mask otherwise :D. Sure it's not a mask that protects against covid... but .. .... I digress..1 point

There are systematic reasons for that. But it's when you see a black person that isn't being violent that gets murdered, that's when you get BLM protests. Going on 2 weeks now. Seems a lot of effort for something that's a fabrication. Why should I have to convince someone who's being willfully ignorant of something? You're not black, you can't comment on a black person's experiences with police. You deny racism then say something like that. Dallas, Texas has a black Police Chief. Toronto did up until he resigned this week. Keep being on the wrong side of history.1 point

POEM Author: Unknown Monk 1100 A.D. When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family. Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.1 point

In British Columbia, most of the viruses sequenced back to Eastern Canada, Europe and the States. The virus that hit New York originated in Europe. Closing borders might help, but you have to close borders to all visitors not just one region. People travelling from China to Europe brought the virus with them, and then Europeans brought it to the States and Canada.1 point

I think we have given too many special interest groups a voice, and a stage to be heard, (more on the left side) and now today they are all screaming at the same time, and nobody is really hearing anything, and if this country wants to move forward it has got to have the blessing from a majority of these groups or there are protests / road closures etc.. making it almost impossible to get anything down...1 point

I was watching Trey Gowdy be interviewed. He says Schiff can't be held accountable legally in any way. He has immunity. Would that include impeachment? Can a congressman be impeached? i don't know. Kind of sucks, if he can't be held accountable to anybody but the voters of Commiefornia, because everything he did pretty much adds up to treason. I mean, let's face it. That whole collusion delusion and everything connected to it adds up to an attempted coup.1 point

Look what happens when you stand up the BLM crowd. This professor turned down a request that black students basically be exempted from final exams in Accounting 'due to the trauma' of the George Floyd incident, and the professor is now suspended. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8404307/Professor-suspended-refusing-request-lenient-marking-black-students-assessments.html0 points
