A hugely popular company that facilitates the free speech expression of hundreds of millions having a fairly clear political censoring bias is a problem. We should all worry about this, except those who want to censor those they disagree with, and those people are tyrants we need to be worried about too.3 points

Since Trudeau overrode the immigration department and removed the need for Mexicans to get visas Canada has been getting visited by crime gangs. They come up to pull a bunch of thefts and burglaries, then, if they're caught, they claim refugee status! The government wonders why people are turning against immigration and refugees but it does nothing to rectify outrages like this. The man in the prisoner’s box came here as a tourist — but he had no plans to visit the CN Tower. Instead, he and his Colombian pals arrived at Pearson airport earlier this year on Mexican passports. Unlike Colombians, Mexicans no longer require a visa to Canada thanks to the Liberal government’s change of policy as of Dec. 1, 2016. Immediately upon arrival, according to police, he and his three compadres went to work — one of many South American crime cells that have come through Mexico and gone on to steal millions of dollars in high-end home break ins, distraction thefts and boosting from expensive shops. And like the accused in the box, many quickly claim refugee status if they’re caught and enjoy welfare and legal aid as they postpone their deportation. https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/mandel-south-american-thieves-flock-to-gta-stay-as-refugees-when-nabbed2 points

No, he is bang on about his assessment, the greens lack any vision outside the environment and even then their direction is not anywhere in reach right now, with no tech available to replace fossil fuels in the near future...how does she intend to meet her goals, well she is going to do it on the backs of the little guy , as they price fossil fuels out of reach for most Canadians who depend on it...with no chioce but to grin and bear it....In case you guys forgot this is a global problem and Canada is not going to solve it alone.... If you really think that everyone quit smoking because it causes cancer ,your not even close, people quit because they can't pay close to 20 bucks a pack for name brand.....thats why.......Littering is a joke should come down to the local beach one day, see how much shit you can pick up in a few minutes....when was the last time you or anybody you know got a littering fine... Greens are popular because there is very little else to vote for, everyone is tired of liberals and conservatives....and who wants an NDP government....May will be just like the rest if she gets any power...money talks and fossil fuels boys have a lot of it....2 points

CBSA has basically admitted that there isn't a lot they can do about 'refugees' who simply don't leave when they're found to not be actual refugees. They don't have the manpower. For those asylum seekers that know that they are not going to be able to reach the stage that their claim will be granted in Canada, or they know [that] they have a criminal history, the concern is they may disappear,” Jean-Pierre Fortin, president of the Customs and Immigration Union, told The West Block’s Mercedes Stephenson. “The people who do check them within CBSA, it’s a very small group [called] inland enforcement officers.” Fortin is calling for the number of officers in this group to be doubled, at the least. “We certainly don’t have the resources to track them down and to deport them,” he said in an interview at Roxham Road. https://globalnews.ca/news/5746288/cbsa-officers-more-resources-failed-asylum-claimants-union/1 point

'Failed' refugees? Fake refugees. They came in our country illegally. Send them back by plane, and that's it. Bar them from entering Canada ever again since they tried to commit fraud by coming here illegally under a false pretense. And deport them all in big groups, and even pay them the first class tickets if none regular tickets are available. They must go back though. It's cheaper to buy a one way plane ticket than to pay for their welfare.1 point

Nice to know our government is incompetent in yet another area.1 point

Are you serious? Why am I ‘picking on’ Trump? Because he is the president. Not only that, he has made illegal immigration the central issue of his presidency. The media isn’t making this shyster look bad here - he’s doing it all by himself and his defence of his own illegal behaviour was typically childish: Trump is a con man, an opportunist. He has knowingly employed illegal workers at least as far back as the construction of Trump Tower. The immigration issue has just been a great career move for him. He doesn’t care about it one way or the other, as his own personal conduct over a lifetime clearly demonstrates. And the last thing Trump would want would be for all illegals to go home tomorrow. That would cause such a massive disruption of the American economy his re-relection chances would disappear down the plug hole.1 point

Humans have always been omnivores - it means eating both plant and animal. For most of our history we have eaten far less meat than we do now in Western countries and in many countries people still eat much less meat than we do. But continue in your calls to inaction. You'll likely be dead before the piper needs to be paid; you can leave that to your kids and grandkids.1 point

That's not how this is going to work. I challenged you to prove me wrong. I provided a cite, now you do the counter argument. But here is the saddest example of police brutality and the police got away with it. The video of the cops instigating him is on youtube somewhere and it's hard to watch. https://www.cnn.com/2014/01/13/us/california-homeless-beating-verdict/index.html It's looking more to me that America and Americans are essentially violent. Aggressive government perpetuating war across the globe, while it's own citizens are so polarized they are shooting each other so much that the police state is simply an inevitability. Even Trump is talking about gun control reform now.1 point

The double standards on Twitter are real as is censoring of conservative speech. Reza Aslan called for genocide against Trump supporters in a tweet ( “eradication” ) but it and other radical language is still up, while others are shut down for much less. e.g. Mitch McConnell's campaign account. Aslan, a CNN contributor, stated there is “no longer any room for nuance” and said that Ivanka Trump is a “white supremacist” despite the fact that they are Jewish.1 point

In theory I agree but in reality how do we assure that? It seems in every political system a power clique evolves around the leader, i.e., President or Prime Minister turning everyone outside that clique into a useless hanger on. Its interesting in that BOTH Harper and Trudeau have the same style of a very tight clique running everything. Interestingly Justin's father delegated a lot of power to trusted Ministers, i.e., Donald MacDonald, Marc Lalonde, Gerard Pelletier, Jean Marc Pepin, and Herb Gray. Mulroney apparently only trusted Mike Wilson. We all no Harper ran a tight ship with no Ministers really talking to the press and now with Trudeau with the exception of his Foreign Minister and Ralph Goodale, everyone else is under lock and key. Bill Morneau his boyfriend after doing yoga and inserting his foot repeatedly up his derrier and out his mouth you never see on his own anymore. Tight cliques of unelected behind the scenes manipulators is a fact of politics. Think about it. Even with all these behind the scenes puppet masters Trudeau still has come across like a bafoon. Its easier when you have someone with some form of intelligence which whether we like it or not Diefenbaker, Pearson, Mulroney, Harper even Chretiens had. Trudeau could not possibly be a PM without handlers pushing and prodding every move. He has an i.q. of 6.1 point

Yes, and with any mention of doing something about methane or animal waste, you get a bunch of fart and poop jokes with animated emojis. Poop is funny.1 point

Taking the visa requirement away from Mexicans is ridiculous. Visas are required from any country where there are known to be security risks or risks of people overstaying their visits illegally. Mexico is a prime country where some obviously illegally overstay their legal visit time limits. This means Canada requires visas for visitors from most countries in the world, with the exception of "safe countries" such as most of those who belong to the OECD (US, UK, Japan etc).1 point

I guess that if comrade Trudeau has his way Chick-Fil-A would probably never make it to Canada. I am pretty sure that here in BC the socialist NDP government party would not want to have a Chick-Fil-A come to BC. Too much Christian for them to handle. The NDP are very pro LGBTQXYZAND and very anti-conservative/anti-straight/anti-business as far as I am concerned. There are many Red Lobster locations in Canada but for some reason there are none in BC. I wonder why? Are the owners Christian also by chance? Is there just too much red tape and too many special minority interest groups to have to deal with to try and get a business like the Red lobster up and running here in wonderful, beautiful socialist BC? I can only hope that one day we will have a Chick-Fil-A and a Red Lobster restaurant open up here in BC. But as long as there is an NDP socialist party governing BC, I doubt that we will ever see any of those two restaurants open up here in BC in the near future. Aw well.1 point

I remember a few years back where there was some ANTIFA like commie thugs that were trying to shut down a Chick-Fil -A over gay rights issues and it backfired. That restaurant picked up more business. I always say that when the leftists liberal media go after anybody then one should always go with the ones that they go after and attack. The alt-left liberal media can never be trusted anymore in what they say and they are pretty much a danger to freedom of expression and they know it but they could care less. Those comrade Trudeau bought off media paychecks is all that those people in the media care about those rotten creeps. Give them some so called racist looking incident and they will go bonkers over it. Yet some Islamic Imam can say kill all Jews and the alt-left liberal media could care less and will avoid reporting on it. Why Muslims seem to be getting a pass for their hatred towards Jews or the rest of us infidels and wanting to kill us all is beyond me. But hey, what more can be said, eh?1 point

IMO the Green Party is just an illegitimate joke of a political party as long as they have E May at the helm. If it came down to her or Trudeau for PM again I'd vote for Trudeau in a heartbeat and Trudeau has already proven himself to be an utter failure at every level. He's getting about 25% on every test, but that's still better than straight zeros. May aside, the Greens seem to completely lack the foresight necessary for a major political party. Their naive, kindergarten-esque world view is the epitome of what you don't want in leadership.1 point

What a crock of shit. I've watched dozens of videos of "police abuse" and the one thing that they always have in common is aggressive morons who are disrespectful to the police. Anyone who has the attitude that "cops are just racist bullies with no right to ask me any questions, and I'm going to let them know about it" is just an incident waiting to happen. Police have tough jobs, mostly because of people like you GH. You're a huge part of the problem and the biggest obstacle to the solution.1 point

Well guess what? A study done by the Public Policy Forum has discovered the greatest source of fake news in Canada! It's the mainstream media! According to the report, those who get their news from mainstream outlets are more likely to give incorrect answers to questions about basic governmental policy issues. “Survey respondents who read or watched more traditional news media were less likely to express uncertainty about policy questions than those with low consumption, but more likely to give an incorrect response,” it says. When asking respondents to reply to statements on central policy issues like the environment, immigration and the economy, those with a high amount of traditional media consumption gave nearly twice as many incorrect answers than those with low traditional media consumption. https://www.thepostmillennial.com/mainstream-media-main-sources-misinformation-report/1 point
