Those with purple faces are the ones trying to justify and push something that on the face seems to be a benign document but it is not. Ask Australia and the other countries who have not signed on why they see it as a threat to their own sovereignty and policies. Maybe they didn't because while couching it in beneign terms, it's intent is to see global mass migration become a legal 'human right', along with seeking to see criticism of such policies become "hate speech". It ‘s intention, again while seeming benign and non binding, (see the Paris Accords) has the intent and aim of allowing open borders along with the intent to shut down the media and anyone else who questions these policies by categorizing criticism as 'hate speech', via propaganda. When confronted on whether the pact is binding, she refused to say it isn't and in fact countered that when approved by enough EU member states its provisions are binding on all EU members whether or not their national parliaments agree. I think many climate change alarmists underestimate the role technology can and will play to ameliorate potential climate disruption. The political and organizational framework governing human interaction has also changed enormously, with the creation and protection of firm national boundaries becoming the norm over the past 200 years. This development occurred in conjunction with the emergence of industrialization and modern democracy and the desire of populations to create viable sociopolitical institutions to permit their citizens to lead dignified and orderly lives. I could care less about the national anthem. I'm not an American. But here is a question for you. When a nation forces its citizens through shaming or threats to conform to what should be a voluntary ritual what does that say about the values of that nation? To answer your question about CNN - yes I do think some of the people on that network are total morons. That is why it is not my first choice for news. In fact the news content of CNN is remarkably low. There is more actual content on the CBC, CTV, and Global in half an hour than there is on CNN in three or four hours. What CNN seems to thrive on (probably because it is cheap) is three or four topics and then discussing them endlessly for the next few days. It seems that no matter who is hosting one of the CNN segments, the topic is pretty much the same with only the talking heads changing. Not only that, but the debates themselves are rather contrived with a left winger and a right winger going at one another while the host acts as a moderator. Unfortunately, after watching a few pf these debates it becomes obvious that both the speakers are simply part of the network, hired to dispute matters with one another.

This guy gets it...Trudeau and his Sunshine Band do not...when it comes to such matters. Blindly trusting "good faith" and naive inexperience have led Canada to this "botched affair". Just...plain...dumb.....

Just because homosexuality has been around forever does not mean that it is natural. Two gay men or two gay women cannot produce any children. Only a woman and a man can do that. Without that combination of man and woman none of us would be here. Only that combination meets with my approval.

That could be for a lot of reasons. One being it was much more sensationalized, as well as being broadcast on several American networks live during the police pursuit of the suspects, with helicopters etc. Regardless, I'm mostly against so-called hate crimes legislation. It's thought police. You're inside somebody's mind determining why they committed a crime. Why is murdering somebody out of hate worse than out of jealousy? Or any other reason?
