Trump is NOT a businessman. He took daddy's money and flipped real estate in New York. Something any idiot could do. But it's not like he made as much as if he'd just put it into the stock market and left it there. Most of his fame as a big, successful businessman comes from a TV show in which he made no decisions and simply said what he was told to say. He is a celebrity in the same way the Kardashians are celebrities, without any noticeable talent except self-promotion.

It takes generations for countries to get out of the shithole that European colonialist created. There are so many variables involved in the mess. Look at Iraq for example; What U.S. has done there has pushed Iraq back by generations. Many of the educated and wealthy people escaped Iraq. The economy, culture and whatever system that was in place was destroyed by U.S.' war and the vacuum it created for ISIS to come in to destroy some more. Nothing worse than people who try to simplify the situation because they're too lazy to look beyond their bigoted and simplified way of looking at how the world works.

C'mon, you hate Trump - I get it! Sure, he started out with a pretty good chunk of seed money, but it was him that rolled that money from a couple million to a couple billion. Trump was plenty successful before he got the TV show - He was given the show because he was Donald Trump not the other way around. We all knew who Donald Trump was before the show and that's why the show was a success - you cant deny those facts. Oprah has been very successful too, the difference is; her success is actually tied directly to her show. Any business that she has undertaken stems directly from attaching her name to products relating to/from the "Oprah" brand. Oprah has never built or produced anything, she finds a good product, attaches her name and tells her minions to buy it - and they do...faithfully.

Part of this stems from destructive practices of European white farmers who had removed retaining walls and permitted the best soil to wash into the sea, reducing agricultural outputs. What is even more laughable, is that the paper claims Zimbabwe was a bread basket, but cannot produce a single image of wheat being farmed in Zimbabwe, yet rather, they show a tobacco field (which is not even edible unless you like vomiting). This is because tobacco being a cash crop has always been and continues to be favoured over wheat to grow by farmers for its higher price and less water requirements. The biggest paradox is believing that conservatism and the right-wing are one and the same because they're not according to the original historical definition of the term right-wing. Every ideology thru which political power flows has a right-wing and a left-wing. Do you mean Liberals or liberals? The constant interchangeability and lazy conflation of these terms just makes it too easy to characterize people in ways that makes discourse impossible. A true conservative would be appalled that any state should tell a parent how they're allowed to raise their child. That would be a left-wing conservative. OTOH a right-wing conservative would have no issue with the state imposing its values on people and would probably insist it do so. This is what you want Liberals to do isn't it? See how it works when you apply the original definition to the terms left and right?

South Korea was a receipent of generous targetted aid and trade contracts as part of a broader plan called the point 4 program to develop east asian nations as a counter to a rising communist china. That is, USA and white monopoly capital sought to strengthen South Korea. With Haiti, white monopoly capital has actively worked to sabotage the nation into today. Haiti was invaded and looted by the USA, LITERALLY, US soldiers on the streets of Haiti looting the wealth of locals and they had to "reparations" to France on top of that with threat of further invasions. Who would invest in a nation where it is constantly under threat of French and US invasion? Compare that to South Korea with 50,000 US soldiers protecting it. Haiti's problems are not its own, they are created and manufactured by foreign nations bitter about it declaring independence and winning a military victory. Mainly USA, France and Britain.

To be fair, we've seen countries like South Korea rise from extreme poverty to one of the richest countries in the world in the period after WW2. Haiti, by comparison, has had more time than South Korea.

I was saying while 90% of a society is suffering then it doesn't make sense to put emphasis on the 1% again and again. If it was only the gays rights violated I would have agreed. Yes I do agree that gay people ought to have EQUAL rights but the universe is not revolving around them while all others are suffering too and not a word about them!!!!. I looked to see if I missed any topics started by Impact on any of the news items that he is outraged by now, but there are none? Seems he is only outraged by them now.

The Bible tells us why there is evil going on in the world and there is a lot of it. Crime galore, drug dealing, alcohol and drug related serious problems, social problems, domestic problems, terrorism widespread in the world. Criminal gangs, rapes, robberies, beatings, etc. Wars, corruption in governments, countries, law enforcement corruption, etc. etc. The list would never end. All this boils down to the human heart which the Bible says is born wicked and corrupt. Who would deny this is the nature of humans? Not many I would think. The evidence that God created the universe is all around us. I can't think of any way that it could come about by accident and I think the world's best scientists will agree. They can't come up with a plausible reason. God had a reason why he created the universe and mankind, although we might not fully understand why. It is only logical. Perhaps he just enjoys creating things and sharing with mankind. But you will say why does he allow all the evil things to happen? I tried to explain he has a long term plan. All that will come to a conclusion on his timetable. He doesn't operate on our timetable. A day with God is as a thousand years. Time is a creation too. It's a human concept based on principles of physics which God created as well. I prefer to believe what he says rather than rejecting it and risking where I spend eternity. I'm far from perfect, but that's why Jesus died on the cross, to save sinful people like me. It's man's only hope and salvation.

As I explained, christianity arose out of Judaism when Christ came. True believers still lived in Old Testament times. . Jesus himself was a Jew and I believe all of the apostles were Jews who had seen Christ after the resurrection. They were willing to die for what they believed. They certainly believed Christ was who he said he was and after they had seen Christ after the resurrection, they became bold believers. That is what the lawyer I mentioned above found. He was once a skeptic but after he examined all the evidence, he could not deny that the weight in favour of the resurrection was overwhelming.

This is why you need to study the New Testament to understand what happened. Rome had nothing to do with it. Peter was not a pope and probably never even was in Rome. The Old Testament looked forward to a coming Messiah. There are prophecies which predicted that. So when Jesus came to earth, that prophecy was fulfilled (Isaiah 9:6) for example. Those who accepted Christ as Messiah and believed in him were true believers. I don't know it it uses the word "christian" but they were followers of Christ. The major apostle Paul was converted on the road to Damascus. I believe in order to have been an Apostle, one had to have seen the resurrected Christ. That was one of the qualifications. So when Christ came, the Old Testament system of animal sacrifices was abolished because Christ was the one all sufficient sacrifice when he died on the cross. The Old Testament Judaism became redundant. From the time Christ came, to be a true worshiper of God, one had to believe in Christ as Lord and Savior. That's why the Old Testament system was no long valid. But many Jews did not believe Christ was the Messiah. They then became followers of a dead religion or no religion. But they should never have been persecuted as they were in the last 2000 years.
