  1. Nothing in what you provided proves your point if anything the opposite. As well what Ghost stated does not address the issue yo. The fact that third and fourth world migrants can now move about does not increase their economic value-they simply go where they think they have the best chance to eat and get shelter but they remain marginalized and without value in their new society. Cycles of poverty are not broken without gradual change thorough education and training to make people self sufficient and able to sustain themselves. If you don't provide programs that equip people with skills to adapt and survive, you simply set them up for failure. For years we threw food at third world countries. It never got to the starving. It was intercepted by corrupt governments and the black market (organized crime). We need to find a way to assure third and fourth world countries have an intelligentsia that remains behind to build the infrastructure of their nations and create self sufficiency at a grass roots level. The third and fourth world countries have no intelligentsia that remains or returns to build these countries. Placing people in tents in Canada to appease one's guilt solves nothing. It creates a social problem. The winter comes, such people need warm shelter and food and they have no way to be self sufficient and necessarily get caught in dependent cycles on social benefits. Such people are better off in their homelands rebuilding their countries, i.e., the roads, the homes, the schools-in their homeland there is work to be done and no one to do it which is the case with Haiti. We are not talking about people who can not go home, we are talking about people who do NOT WANT to go home. Why would I return to hard work when Trudeau is telling me to come to Canada and collect welfare? If I am a poor person sitting on my as collecting welfare is the lottery compared to returning home and having to work. Enough with using the marginalized to appease the guilt of liberals, it is not helping them-its using them to assuage guilt. You want to help Haitiend, send them home, send them tents and temporary shelters in their homeland and food and tools and send people to help them rebuild. Turning them into welfare recipients or taxi drivers or fast food servers in Canada helps no one. Its one thing to help people to help themselves, its another to trap them in never ending cycles of poverty we impose upon them under the assumption living in Canada on welfare is better than going home to rebuild the country. I have ben to Haiti-I do note some people call it a shithole. That same shithole is a country and the future for many. Its only a shithole to arrogant people in Canada who look down on it. Yes they cut down trees and made it vulnerable to erosion. Yes it has had numerous corrupt violent governments. It has to be the Master of its own destiny but feeling guilty for Haitiens having to rebuild their country won't help it. Guilt is horseshit. Guilt is what liberals act on after they feel someone is inferior to them. Guilt is a result of colonialist elitist racist horse shit. There is nothing to feel guilty about. Haitiens are not victims. We define them as victims by giving them welfare. Stop calling them victims. Give them a shovel, a pick axe, a drill, tools, construction materials and stop calling them victims. Empowerment comes from pride of work, of overcoming obstacles, of having hope and pursuing that hope through positive actions. Yesterday I watched Justin Trudeau complete with eye make up, mascara and new eye lashes, preening before the cameras. How the hell could he possibly understand digging a ditch is nothing to be ashamed of, rebuilding a country is hard work. For phack's sake the man was wearing mascara and actally had someone curl his eyelashes for the photo ops. There is no limit to this popinjay's tenure. The only thing missing is a kerchief, a beauty mole on his cheek and a white powder wig.

  2. IMHO, you have an extremely accurate view of what foreign aid is and does, vs. what is needed. Worth repeating your post. Ancedotally: my best friend has been wildly successful in business, and his wife feels obligated to distribute a significant proportion of their wealth to "disadvantaged" in other countries. She is no fool, and will not send money or food, but had prided herself in sending literally thousands of bicycles, most of which got distributed directly to those who could use them (we think). I carelessly made a disparaging comment while adding a pair brand new, multi-thousand dollar 3 wheelers to the mix while stuffing a container full of hundreds of bikes gleened from police auctions. They were shocked and it fell upon me to explain my disdain: the cost spent on way overpriced new bicycles in the container could have bought enough tooling to set up to manufacture their OWN bicycles. Giving them finished goods might have made my friends FEEL better, but they just fostered a society and culture of dependence. The now send tools, tubing, gearsets, etc.

  3. Yup... and that's not an accident. Selling a false sense of security to fear-dumb westerners is probably the most lucrative endeavor in all of human history. Where do you think the trillions of dollars we have spent on "terrorism" actually went? To build schools for girls in Afghanistan? No... Its all in the pockets of western corporations and people that own shares in them.

  4. It's not all about panic, exhaustion plays a huge part in drowning, can you not read. Unlike you who relies purely on speculation I actually have real life experience in this topic. I spent 11 years at sea and was fully trained in sea survival. I can tell you from personal experience that once you start to get tired, no matter how calm you are, you will find it increasingly hard to stay afloat. As you become tired it becomes harder to control your breathing, you start to swallow water, it becomes an escalating situation. Like I said, try my experiment and then get back to us with your results. It can't be denied that panic is a major contributor to drowning but to say no one should drown is just unrealistic and naive.

  5. Yes. our lungs act as flotation devices. However these devices become less effective under varying conditions and will fail to act as such given adverse conditions, or just simple exhaustion. Here's an easy experiment you can try. Take a boat out into the middle of lake Ontario and jump into the water. If as you claim no one should ever drown, stay there for 24 to 36 hours and see how you do. Just to make it even more accurate choose a stormy day to do it. It should be no problem since you know more about it than anyone else and have claimed no one should drown.

  6. I remain silent to 99.99% of your posts now because you have lowered yourself to the point of sheer stupidity on this board.. Your attempt now to pose as an anti white militant is without a doubt the most stupid thing you have evidenced with your words even more stupid then suggesting the melting point of steel is a type of steel. Now you pose as a non white militant blaming whites for the world's turmoil? What Zionists and the USA didn't get you any attention so now you expand your target to try attract comments? This is how you get attention? Lol. Finish it. If you are going to come on here and pose as an anti white racist, and make race an issue, and smear white people, point out your race, ethnicity, religion, economic class. You provide nothing but immature, hateful remarks that not even the turmoils of reaching puberty can justify. Anyone can come on this board and engage in racial stereotypes or anti semitic stereotypes. Its an idiot's game and you play it. The only difference between you and Taxme is the angle your heads slant at. Now when you come back and explain how black and Muslim you are and what a victim you are, the liberals can at least come on the board and join you with some heartfelt lipservice. I love it. Listen stop being such a putz-you want to insult a white person, the word is cracker, spaz dancer, albino, goose, beluga whale, milky way, vanilla guerilla, pink stuff, flat butt, square head, no lips, yellow fangs, teeny weeny, but not whitey. Gawd that was painful. Whitey. Yah I know man you from dah hood. You dah man.

  7. I don't like it either. But how do you deal democratically, humanely, in a principled way with humans who have made the choice to act worse than animals? Did we not stick our principles and allow the Khadr family their "rights" to raise their children as terrorists and coddle them? How did that work out for us? How did that work out for the Khadr children? How did that work out for public safety? Now we have Canada's #1 terrorist family walking the streets with pockets filled with our money, openly despising us. No. I don't understand how some people can be so concerned about the rights of terrorists and extremists and care nothing about the average Canadian's rights. So Khadr spent a little more time in Guantanamo than he feels he should've. I couldn't care less. He should still be there and his terrorist family should be deported to some Islamic hellhole. How does paying off terrorists who have some little right violated and allowing them to continue to use Canada as a base for their activities and for free medical when they are injured in their war against the West - how does that show our "principles"? Yeah, I know the argument - we stick to our principles and they somehow magically turn into law abiding citizens who love Western freedom and tolerance because they are so impressed by us. Drivel. They still hate us and everything we stand for and now they know how to operate because we are constrained by rights and principles while they are constrained by absolutely nothing.

  9. That may be the most racist thing I have ever seen written on the internet. All of those things can be accredited to white people, red people, black people, brown people and yellow people. The ultimate racist view held by you is that white people committed these crimes BECAUSE they were white. You realize that you are exhibiting pathological behaviour - the kind that is exhibited and required by extremists who actually COMMIT these crimes!?

  10. I like to sum it all up in the idea that today, in our ruling system, just as in every cesspool, the scum rises to the top. In times gone by, the qualities required to rise to leadership were more often than not accompanied by enough decency and saving graces to afford this nation a relatively decent body of leadership. In its current form, our system that installs leaders with absolutely NO minimum job requirements, strictly on the results of a popularity contest with votes tallied from a distracted, uncaring, self-centered population can only lead to bad things. Far too many of the people in this country are no longer capable of being involved in governing themselves, either inside the arena or outside of it, simply voting. A nation that is addicted to happy, happy, happy can never choose any course of action that will lead to discomfort and discomfort will certainly result sooner or later. It is the Discomfort Bubble and its arrival is already way, way overdue.

  19. Good advice there. When I moved to small prairie town X, I found it hard to meet people. My girlfreind had been on a dating site before and even though the relationships didn't work out, she is still freinds with the people she met on there. Long story short, and after a bottle of wine , I put up a profile. I met my wonderful man on the first day and we've been together 2 1/2 years now. I talked to him for a few days on the phone and then when it was time to meet, I asked him to meet me in a public place. I didn't want him to know where I lived until I checked him out. I was on the site less than 24 hours. I will say though, that most of the men on it were incredibly creepy. One wanted to meet off the highway under some overpass......it reminded me of this sketch by Louis CK......"To your death, statistically!"

  20. I know you are a big believer in the MSM, especially CNN and MSNBC, but anyone can write up a dossier to order, which will be impossible to disprove. The MSM is largely over that farce; their new tack is “look at the difference between Trump’s scripted speeches and his rallies”. Because if he seems different reading someone else’s words from a teleprompter, that “proves” mental instability, or something.“The Russians” are over. It did not work. We are back to “Trump is mentally ill”. I saw the exact story, not covering the content of his Afghanistan speech, but discussing the way he delivered it, in comparison to his latest rally, on two news programs. One was on PBS. What are the odds, the reporters for each station decided, independently, to abandon the topic of the Afghanistan speech, you know, what we used to call “reporting”, and instead do opinion pieces on his style? Almost as if they were getting the order from somewhere on high.

  21. I realize that the only thing that is controlled in this failure of a society is the masses and they are being controlled, squeezed ever harder and tighter with the advent of each and every techno-bauble that is heaped upon them to this end. The game now is to set the herd into actions that are intended to distract them from their own plight and turn them on one another so that they do not realize how completely and badly they are being played. The question remains to be answered as to when that panicking shot is discharged and the stampede is initiated, though it would appear that there will be many shots, many venues and many panics that will soon be upon us. The objective is to confuse the herd so that it tramples itself and not those who are controlling them. Of course, there remains a possibility that the herd members will simply collapse into shivering heaps in the dirt and whimper and cry themselves into non-existence. This might actually be the best way for it to all play out, but in any case the pace is certainly quickening.

  22. Predicably, your paranoia sees only "whitey the enemy" in a world full over people of every race who do all of the same things, all of the time. The answer would be roughly the same proportion of whites in MacDonald cabinet as blacks in Habyarimana cabinet, whites in Joe Stalin's inner circle, yellow in Mao's and on and on it goes. BTW: ALL of whom claiming the moral, religious and cultural high ground that excused their behaviour and deeds.

  23. I guess the poor who are born in Canada shall continue to get nothing. Let them eat cake. Canada ranks poorly among wealthy nations for children’s well-being: UNICEF Canada ranks 37th on a list of 41 rich countries for children having access to enough nutritious food, and higher-than-average rates of child homicide and teen suicide also point to a need for action, a UNICEF report says. Over 22 per cent of Canadian children live in poverty and most issues related to kids showed no improvement or worsened during the last decade, said the 14th report from UNICEF on children’s well-being amongst wealthy countries.

  29. I'll ignore your insults and bring it back on topic. (Kosher ? Really?) Trump gets a 'chance' every time he's in front of a mic or on twitter. With regards to Charlottesville he ignored advice to stay on script, he brought denouncements from his own party then he lied about it in Phoenix. He lost the battle. That was his 'chance'. Again, I think he has the potential to do far more than hard-aligned politicians and we have seen a few rare examples where he broke out on his own such as extending the mission in Afghanistan. I'm not saying whether that's good or bad, but he did his own thing and didn't get shot down. As for Charlottesville, again, he had a few chances and soiled himself yet again. Some politicians may deserve training wheels but not if they present themselves as the single answer to problems then make freshman mistakes over and over.

  30. DoP is not "my boy". The point of my post wasn't to insult your "imagination" but to get you to think harder about what kind of evidence you are really looking for. Is your belief truly open to change, or is the evidence you would need so difficult as to essentially be unobtainable? What evidence would a deeply religious person need to convince them that god doesn't exist? Does such evidence exist or is it essentially impossible to have such evidence? Yes, they generally are. Nonetheless, as far as I've seen, you've generally been quite unconvinced by his arguments, requesting better evidence that you have yet to define. Thank you for your recommendation about who I should talk to. I'll give your suggestion the full consideration that it deserves. You, however, try to come off as if you are rooted as deeply as you can be in objectivity and evidenced-based beliefs, though you admit you have some biases. That's a good philosophy, and I am trying to explore how much you've actually thought about it or is it merely your talking point? Are you truly more open to contrary evidence than the typical partisan hack, or do you just think you are?

  31. Because unlike those countries, we are a nation of immigrants. We were a multicultural country even when we were an almost all white society. 44. The kind of terrorists that are a current problem all over the world, are those that come from certain culture and religion. That's why you don't let them inside your country without an ACTUAL THOROUGH, RIGOROUS screening and vetting! You don't rely on the UN for that! The USA is doing a practical thing by the travel ban from places where information is hard to come by! How can you screen properly without any reliable information? Without any verification? It's easier to control and fight them at the gate. If terrorists are mixed with the general population, it's harder to root them out.
