Iran wins the War.
WestCanMan replied to John Johnston's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You stupid God-damned loser. Obama's JCPOA was being completely ignored, right from the start. FYI one of the main components of the JCPOA was that Iran wasn't supposed to be building ballistic missiles and working towards ICBMs and they started doing it instantly. The JCPOA was hot garbage. Completely worthless. Iran was using the JCPOA as a shield behind which to build ICBMs, build a massive drone army, and supply the Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas with rockets to bombard Israel, while they were also upgrading their refining capabilities. Do you honestly see no difference between Iran today and Iran in 2016, when Trump was elected the first time? Iran is light years behind where they were in 2016 right now. Lol. Tankers are flowing, free of charge. Iran has lost their ability to mass-produce ballistic missiles and drones. Iran has lot their navy. Iran has lost all of their anti-air defences. Iran has lost most if not all of their fighter planes. Can you at least admit to that you fking child? Obama was great at ginning up racial hatred, but his JCPOA was not working. Iran started on the road to nuclear weapons before the ink was dry: They started developing delivery systems for nukes they started ramping up production of those delivery systems to an extremely high lvl they started developing refining technology to build weapons-grade Uranium they started refining mass amounts of Uranium, far beyond what they'd ever need for civilian usage they started to build their conventional military to the point where they felt like they no longer needed to listen Trump showed them that they need to listen. And not just because nameless soldiers will die, because ayatollahs will die. You don't appreciate Trump's strength because you're a gutless loser, but strength is necessary. The less strength you have in terms of policing and military, the more of that you need to do as an average citizen. Listen idjit, you didn't complain about that when they were all going to Ukraine for that stupid war that we provoked. If NATO wasn't on the verge of moving into Ukraine, not one dollar would have been spent on defending Ukraine and not one missile would have been sent there. Iran needed to be taken down. America stockpiles weapons to end Iran-type threats. A nuclear-armed Iran is a threat that you just don't understand. The Ukraine war never needed to happen. That's just the talking point of a CNN cultist with shit for brains. No one that matters thinks the way you do. In his two terms, Trump has killed enough sovereigns (ayatollahs), top generals, generals, mullahs, and terrorist leaders to fill a high school gymnasium, while only losing an amount of soldiers that would fit in a baseball dugout. Can you make me the list of all the sovereigns, top generals, generals, mullahs (or state officials of similarly high rank) that were killed by the US military in every other war in their history? Try to get to ten. And once you list is compiled, calculate the ratio of foreign leaders to American servicemn killed. Is that number higher than 1, like it was under Trump? Or is it lower than 1/10,000? Was the number of US servicemen killed in a previous American war lower than the number of navy ships that were sunk? When you say that Trump made America look weak, you're just proving how much of a cultist idjit you are. And you really thought that Trump was going to exterminate 60M people, a-hole? He was making big threats to get big concessions. It was a war. He wanted to get his way, and he did a lot of big talking. So what? Did he murder all those people, dingus? No. But he got what he NEEDED to get out of this. Knowing what to read and what to ignore is fundamental. Reading articles from CNN and CBC is just mental. -
Democrats running full blown Nazi in Maine
gatomontes99 replied to Reg Volk's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Of course they can. They don't care if we call it a double standard. All they care about is power and if they think the Nazi symp can get them power in Maine, then they are going to be Nazi symp supporters. While, at the same time, hoping someone kills Trump because they called him a Nazi. -
Where does it stop? Persistent hangnails? Dry skin? Should people with exzema be able to end their life? They suffer too. Yes, I am using hyperbole. Desire to die should not be the standard. Otherwise every teenager that is embarrassed at school would be killed off. People need to respect life enough to consider every day sacred. Even the bad ones. This will lead to forced suicide...aka state mandated murder. But they'll put a flowery name on it like Compassionate Euthenasia.

Well the problem with any war that doesn't have stated goals going into it is that it's very hard to tell if you won The one stated goal we did see was that he was going to end iran's nuclear program to end the threat of nuclear weapons. At this point it does not really appear that that was achieved. It would seem that the program was badly hurt, but I ran will be allowed to continue to have a domestic nuclear program and promises not to build bombs. Which is exactly what was the case under Obama. Plus now he's got to give them a bunch of money To the world this is never going to look like a victory that's for sure
-
Nothing ridiculous about most people getting along with Gays, Jews, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Women, Non-Muslims, Atheists, Apostates, Beer, Wine, Bacon and Dogs without any problems. Do you?
-
Hey, if i promise not to build a nuclear weapon can i have 300 billion? LOL But isn't. You can trump calls him prime minister it's just that carney sold out sometime ago. Which is crappy we should never have elected him but considering that the US hired Biden I think we're still doing better. At least ours can still navigate his way off of stage
-
I did. I just set it up in context. Be realistic.

MAID in Canada - should we be killing the mentally ill?
CdnFox replied to Reg Volk's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Hogwash. If you have a terminal illness and you are suffering horribly and living in pain every day and they can do nothing for you then it is quite reasonable and logical That you may want to end things on your own terms with a sense of dignity rather than suffer indefinitely only to die anyway I wouldn't let my dog live like that, why would I accept living like that myself? But is all things it tends to go too far and it becomes a lazy solution for governments. There's a fine line to walk -
Of course its not, Robo uses his facebook feed which knows he has severe TDS so he feeds the monster which he immediately posts here no matter what it is. Then when you actually watch you roll your eyes so much it makes you dizzy. All these people cite biased studies and take them out of context to "prove" their points. He probably watches crap like Secret Service Sam. Also they have the viewership of a poetry reading in a coffee shop.

Iran is surrounded by nuclear states that are either avowed enemies or potential enemies who are somewhat friendly at the moment - the US navy, China, Russia, Pakistan and India. Above all, Israel, a bitter foe, has nuclear weapons that it refuses to acknowledge. This means it has never publicly discussed or committed to when it would use them against Iran - it cannot do so explicitly without admitting their existence. Instead we get word salads from Israeli spokespeople about how trustworthy and nice they are. Would any Iranian government be able to trust a government that contains the likes of Smotrich and Ben-Gvir to show restraint in a conventional missile exchange that Israel was losing in a future when the US is less generous with missile defence? At the least, Iran will want to remain a nuclear threshold state like Japan and South Korea, able to race to a bomb if the need arose. To do otherwise would be irresponsible.

I realize Europe has gone woke and no longer cares about Western values. Islam is about to run their asses over. And if Islam runs their asses over then there's ZERO more help for Ukraine. Besides, Zelensky's a useless piece of shit. Ukraine needs to grow a pair and get itself a real leader.
-
The right wing lets everybody go about their own business without conflict as long as they're not directly affected. It is you liberals who have to f everything up and be professionally offended on someone else's behalf 24/7
-
Vance’s words. Address Vance’s words. Europe is helping Ukraine in a massive way now. That has changed. Maybe you don’t realise that?
-
Europe has gone woke and has no interest in Western values. Islam is about to run their asses over. How can we help Europe when Europe won't even help itself?

As I hope I made clear, I think this problem is bigger than Trump. It has soured voters on both parties. Median wealth matters far more to average people than average wealth or GDP - last time I looked, Elon isn’t sharing his dosh across the population - and if median income and wealth are going to decline or stay flat we need to have an honest conversation about that. People will need to spend less and borrow less. Ditto governments. But I don’t hear much of this message from politicians.
-
But MAID is appropriate for some conditions, surely? MND, dementia? Again, if a person has suffered for forty years with paranoid schizophrenia, for example, I think they have earned the right to a humane death of their choosing rather than having to swing from the rafters or blow their head off. Younger people are different. I don’t support MAID for a young person with mental illness under any circumstances I can think of. They may have many good years left. Old people not so much. I’m ageist.

There’s an economic divergence between the productivity of people that are able to leverage AI yes. That’s is an issue. That’s not the same as blaming it on Trump. We are in the next phase of the industrial revolution which is now AI driven. People need time to adapt and adjust, what the market looks like 5-10 years from now is not clear. But what is clear is that we need less and less people doing traditional jobs because of the increased productivity. And we certainly don’t need more Canadians doing those jobs. Hence Canada is left out since you all lack the resources to leverage AI. That’s why there aren’t meaningful push to build out Canada’s AI infrastructure. Single digit B isn’t going to be able to build you one, one data center cost north of several B.
-
Holy crap. Did it take you an entire day to come up with that? Maybe you should use AI to help you write your post?
-
How about a Nobel for Trump, Netanyahu and Khamenei? Carrots for everyone.
-
Spanky, you are making stuff up, taking stuff out of context and making false equivalencies. No one here believes we can have a rational conversation with you when you start with such a loaded position. Be realistic in your analysis and maybe we would have a conversation. Let's start it off with an example. We don't know much about the person in charge. He is apparently gay? Maybe. His dad may not have wanted him to be in charge. Does that mean he is more moderate? We don't know. All we know is how Vance and Trump characterize them. And, of course, they are going to butter them up to get a deal. That is reality. Trump loves to do that. He loves to make people feel important. So, yeah, they talk nice. That does not make it fact. The truth is, there is a lot of uncertainty moving forward. The strategy appears to be, with all terroristic tools destroyed, dangle a big enough carrot to keep them from rebuilding their terror network. The only other strategy I can for see having any hope would be complete anihalation, regime change and nation building. That has a much higher cost. I hope the carrot strategy works.

Lefties losing it
Michael Hardner replied to Reg Volk's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
1. I thought you were pointing out the lack of media coverage as bringing the credibility into question. I don't think this is a major story, so credible local coverage indicates it's at least a real situation, of concern to the community on both sides of the issue. 2. You said the mother was cashing in or some words to that effect. I'm not saying you're wrong, just saying that a truly objective observer might give the benefit of the doubt. I just believe that if you want to throw water on the trans hysteria out there, it's better to point out that reasonable people are using our institutions to work through the details of accommodating trans rights in a polite society. The idea that taking these cases to inflammatory media outlets is necessary is based on distrust of said institutions IMO. Reasonable people should be able to acknowledge that the accommodation of trans people is something new, that needs discussion and processing in the public sphere. That's where I am on the issue, though many on here doubt that.
