1. So you're not in favour of the practice where the province will take custody of a child needing aq blood transfusion when their parent refuses one on religious grounds?

2. There is nothing in either the Cdn or US Constitution that protects Christians. Nor any other religion.

3. MOF I like the people I have met that don't vote because of religious objections. I don't f*cking want their voting 'on religious grounds'.

1. When comparing two situations, you have to notice the differences.
2. Freedom from government interference, I think it is.  So a court order telling someone, effectively, that their spiritual person is subordinate to their physical persona is ... that.
3. People vote for all kinds of reasons.  2 of the last 4 presidents were TV stars before they entered politics.

That's true.

Now...I understand that a person or two went to jail for "protesting" outside abortion clinics.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/2832741/abortion-convictions-spotlight-dojs-handling-protesters/

Hmmm...

"The Family Research Council identified 436 church attacks in 2023 alone which reveals a whopping 800% increase over six years! In contrast, pro-life pregnancy centers have faced similar hostility, with fire bombings and threats aimed at their offices.

The hearing also shed light on the Biden administration’s weaponization of the FACE Act against pro-life individuals."

https://revivalnation.com/blog/2024/12/30/436-churches-were-attacked-in-2023-zero-prosecuted/

Drag those responsible into court and destroy their lives!

Obstruction of entry is NOT VALID "protest".

Naked link is not "quoted." Congrats on giving out that pass and mining a small nugget of relevance.

OMG, this is rich. So, now you think Don Lemon was wrong and all the other clowns who stand out in the roadway to "protest" for all the leftwing causes you support are wrong?

Unimpeachable prosecution didn't seem to hinder the Democrats.

And that is why they are getting prosecuted.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Ok... Is it out?  Will we see it?

Honest question.

To add: if you scroll up, you'll see that I did say there is something behind this. It's not made up out of whole cloth.

The left just cant face reality

They refused to years ago on here when we pointed this out to them with Mark Houck. Some of them, even after, cheered it on.

Then they have the nerve to sit here upset about the Trump DOJ.

Maybe not but there are *some* details given, like this:

""The Task Force found that during the COVID-19 period, federal agencies frequently subjected employees seeking religious accommodations to invasive scrutiny of their beliefs," the report stated, saying the practice was at odds with court precedent requiring employers to "presume sincerity" of beliefs."

So it seems like the assertions are not entirely groundless, but yes it would be good to know what the incident(s) in question were.

There was a famous Toronto lawyer who used to book Jewish holidays but one time appeared in front of a different judge after begging off a case for Yom Kippur or somesuch.

Got caught...

Air Canada just had to pay out terminated employees over the job for denying religious exemptions. An arbitrator ruled that such denial of exemption violated the Human Rights Code.

I imagine the US government will be paying out similar compensation in the next little while

It seems like the left is literally doing every thing they can to harm people. They open the borders, push kids in to transmania, push girls out of sports, pay terrorist nations to build nukes, tax wealth out of existence, subsidize everything out of affordability, sensor dissenting opinion, and espoused hatred for or killed anyone that dared disagree with them. So I am not surprised or shocked to see FBI documented proof of government suppression of Christians.

There are no real Christians in the United States, and everything you say is just U.S. government disinformation, the same people who pay you.

You can't say honestly that you know someone's motivations, sorry.

People do this to me all the time and it's always wrong.

There's no point in being on a discussion board if you think everyone is lying.

Typical liberal. Dismiss anything and everyone as invalid so that you don't have to face opposition.

And....Matthew 7

1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

*********

Claiming there are no Christians in an entire country is harsh judgement that God will turn on you.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
