Correction...  it's you and your fellow fools who on-queue go to the playbook and spout the 'where is the evidence of doom and gloom' whenever climate changed is mentioned.  Nobody says it's doom and gloom except you clowns.  Is it the need to deny science, or just because...?

It's been pointed out many times about the doom and gloom predictions. The fact that you deny this is your problem not mine.

Well if you want to think about, a serious challenge for your mind, yes it would be doom and gloom if we kept going down the same path.  When the end would come, who knows....   Fortunately fools like you are immensely under-qualified to be in any sort of forward thinking or decision making discussions.

The last time you provided a link to that site I pointed out after going through everything there that there wasn't a single thing that supported your argument.

You went through the entire IPCC repository?

LMAO! Like fùck you did.

SETI is starting to lean towards the idea we can't find anything because technological civilizations wipe themselves out almost as soon as they arise.

Some researchers are becoming seriously concerned about why they're drawing such a blank and what it might tell us about ourselves.

In any case, I'm pretty sure we'll be one of the very last things to go extinct. We're one of the weediest species on the planet. It probably won't be much of an existence but why the fùck should we care? It won't be us.

What evidence is there that technological civilizations wipe themselves out almost as soon as they arise? ROFL

Seriously man, put up or shut up. Give us this doomsday timeline.

You can't. You won't, because its BS.

You didn't either. You can't even bring yourself to cite anything relevant. You just say IPCC.

Its conjecture based on the fact we haven't found a single thing despite scanning our entire galaxy now for decades. That's billions of star systems emanating radio noise from 100000 years ago or more up to the present.

After all the time, distance and space the question where are they has moved to why can't we find them? Difficult questions like this lead to conjecture based on what we know. We know ourselves well enough to see that even after just 300 years of modern technological civilization we are already more than capable of wiping ourselves out in a matter of hours just as effectively as a giant asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs.

The evidence of our own already precarious existence plus the fact we haven't found a shred of evidence for the existence of any other technological civilizations should give us pause to consider. The way the ubiquity of asteroid impacts throughout the solar system gave Hawking pause to consider.

300 years is extremely fast compared to nearly a hundred thousand years or more of human history. We've gone from horse and buggy to interstellar probes. Hopefully we have a few more decades left to choose a more sustainable path. Even another hundred years may be too much to hope for.

You don't even understand what the Fermi Paradox is

By the way bright guy, how many electronic emissions was earth transmitting out to the universe 100,000 years ago? So why would you think other planets had life that did.

And it still has nothing at all to do with seti.

The question came about when scientists began to come up with models to suggest how many planets out there were likely to have been able to support and create life as it did here on earth.  By our estimates it should be a large number. So if it is where is everyone.  But there's no shock that even if there ARE a bunch of them that we haven't heard them. Even if they are there, and even if they were transmitting 100,000 years before us. you STILL have to be listening to that specific point in space which is far worse than a needle in a haystack, and that point in space is where they were 100,000 years ago, not where their planet is now.

If you don't 'believe' the measured and recorded CO2 ppm levels have risen almost 1/3 just within my own lifetime, you're too stupid to talk to.
If you don't believe the science that CO2 is a greenhouse gas,  you're too stupid to talk to.
If you don't think 7+ billion people heating, cooking, manufacturing and travelling contributed to part of the increase.  you're too stupid to talk to.
Likewise if it will cause economic and social disruption yet you think we should do sweet f-ck all because it's 'natural',  you're too stupid to talk to.

So squawk all you want about "myths" because the idea that anyone takes you seriously is the biggest one.

And you're the one who says he went through the entire 1.7 petabytes of data in the IPCC's archives?

You looked at 8,000 pages of comprehensive assessment reports, more than 18,000 scientific papers reviewed by 278 authors and more than 60,000 expert and government comments and concluded it's all a hoax... propaganda?

And where's your evidence for that?

Yes but 1 Billion tons of granite is still not as hard as 1 oz of diamond.

I sated my case quite clearly and if you can only respond with as hominem and doubling down on your warped 'beliefs' in the face of fact, you only prove my conclusions.

While you're at it enjoy filling you tank today and celebrate that not a penny of the increase is being 'wasted' on carbon tax or any other public benefit. Pretend you're a shareholder who'll get a few taxable dividend bucks back on that extra $10-$20 a fill.

Fermi himself didn't understand it. The term wasn't even coined until he was dead for 40 years. His equation had to do with the number aliens capable of interstellar travel not the number of civilizations that might exist, AKA the Drake Equation.

I either case both are now up against the reality of the Great Silence and whatever Great Filter might account for that silence.

(Don't forget highlight, copy and paste are your friends).

Do you even believe any of this?

You are just fine with pushing all the CO2 off to China while pretending you are doing something to combat Climate Change.

True, but it's a good thing it's not in our human nature to do that or we might still live in the trees.

How much do you voluntarily give every month, extra to the carbon tax, to your heart's desire?

I never actually made that claim, but Whether I did or I didn't isn't relevant, if there's one there that I didn't see but you feel proves your point post it

You can't because there isn't one. Remember each post it becomes more and more obvious you're a liar to everyone reading this
