In other words, Statistics Canada says there was $1.77 in credit market debt for every dollar of household disposable income in the fourth quarter. Some of that will be an assets but a lot of it's just straight up debt. People are having a tough time getting by Sooner or later there will be a credit crisis and that will be a significant blow to the economy.
