Carney says "this is not a game"    he is ready for an election - knowing full well what  numbers are required  to get his budget passed - knowing full well that  6 - 8  NDP MPs will vote with him - making the entire budget vote media speculation a nothingburger,  just another opportunity for the Liberal Spin-Doctors and their tame media talking head friends  to fill the discussion spaces with prolefeed - and hopefully generate lots of red meat to get the  PP haters braying to the moon.   Yesterday I read a comment, on the excretion known as the Bill Kelly Podcast, from some little half-wit, saying  'any conservative who votes against the budget is a traitor to Canada'.   This is the audience Carney is speaking to.  god help us.

Have listen to the Michael Campbell Podcast -   His opening editorial  and  the following interview with James Thorne   https://omny.fm/shows/money-talks-with-michael-campbell/november-1-episode       enjoy

Trump? You mean the Carney dominatrix.

Ford and Newsome are both a shilling short of a pound.

How humiliating. Like Icarus, Canucks flew too close to the Orange and got burnt.

Actually the ad seem to have been very successful. That's why trump is angry.

It is lack of ability to follow up that's the problem here. Very clearly ford has identified for trump. We should have a new ad playing every week in America right now hammering the anti-terror message home and reminding Americans how desperately they actually need their neighbors to the north. Because for all the posturing america really does need to have a friendly and Cooperative Canada to deal with.

But I think trump really torpedoed himself when he claimed that Reagan tariffs did every republican knows that's not true and it just makes him look terrible

I'm sorry Ford's ad upset you is an apology.
One someone with a grain of diplomacy would use.

One only an absolute hack would portray as kowtowing to Trump or condemnation of his #1 Premier.

Hold you hats while the Lumber anti-tariff ads roll out. More truths for the Orange Oaf to deny.

That's not the apology he claims he gave him or that trump says he got.

Carney says he told ford not to do it and is very sorry that he did and that he can't control his premiers.

Which is about as far as you can bend over anatomically..

And even though he went out of his way to kiss both trump's ass and his own between his own legs trump still hasn't resumed talks

I suspect that what's really pissing off Donnie Dicko is the fact that we're actually negotiating and not just bending over and giving Trump what he wants, like so many other countries are doing. That's why he hated Chrystia Freeland. How dare she stand up to the Americans and hold out to get a good deal?

Unfortunately none of that is true. If that were the case it would be easy.

Is they've already given trump most of what he wants, but when you give a bully your lunch money then he's going to want your recess snack as well.

There are a few trade irritants that Carney cannot afford to give up whether he wants to or not because it will cost him his political job. And one of those is supply management.

The reason he hated Freeland was because even before they began to negotiations she was bad-mouthing and publicly and loudly, so literally any concessions he made looked like he was caving to some weak little twat. Trump does not like to look weak. And it's worth noting that Freeland came away with a much worse deal than she went in with.

The problem is once you show trump weakness he just doesn't stop. So he's not going to accept that supply management isn't on the table. And he's getting tired of dancing around and offering this or that to get what you want, But carney knows he's out of office tomorrow if he gives it up

That's why trump keeps adding additional tariffs and soon he'll give up and just basically say that NAFTA is going in the garbage can and there's tariffs on everything until Canada smartens up. He can afford to wait for our economy to continue to tank to make us desperate enough

The Oaf is violating his own USMCA agreement already, WTF kind of person do you think we're "negotiating" with? An untrustworthy scumbag at best.
The demented twat is intent on destroying the entire World Trade model that's been in place over 40 years. And so goddam petty he's punishing Canada for a Premier with the guts to tell Americans the truth. More guts that their GOP and Dems combined have shown so far.

I can’t see any opposition party wanting to be responsible for bringing down the government at this critical moment in Canadian history. It would be a serious burden to wear in the subsequent election campaign. The public certainly do not want another election now.

Opposition parties are never responsible for bringing down the government on a budget. Passing a budget is the job of the government whether it's a minority or a majority. They have to negotiate and come up with a compromise budget that at least enough parties to pass it will support.

If they fail to do that then the government failed, and they will hold the only responsibility for causing the government to fall in an election to occur.

The public will have to decide whether or not they had some sort of good reason but 6 months into a new mandate and the government can't negotiate a deal? That's going to look horrible

All of what I said is true.

And yes, trump has one for now and we have a completely lackluster leader who was probably bought and paid for by trump before he even got elected. That's our bad. But that's today. History is going to be a lot longer than just today.

It won’t matter. Regardless of which direction it swings, you can be sure Canadians are on the receiving end. See it’s not a genius idea that all people living on the same continent should be waving the same flag. Every successive American government will always seek to make Canada a 51st in their own ways. And to put a finer point. You all are already part of the American empire wether you like it or not.IMG_2396.thumb.jpeg.a15f0b4070c9d7ce10d17a8c2575286a.jpeg

Yeah it’s called the Russian bear.

North America is inhabited by the anglos. We don’t actually have a real quarrel with Canada but you all seem to have one for America. Which is fine since it’s entirely one sided. If America actually felt threatened by Canada we would have wiped you all out ages ago.

So logically, Canada should join the US. Even Doug Ford knows the game, he understand fortress Can-Am. Call it what you want but your ass Canada belongs to America.

Carney told trump in the press that he told ford not to take that out. Now magically ford doesn't remember saying that.

Hmmmm? Every empire tried to conquer Europe under one banner. The Romans, goths, visigoths, Vikings, mongols, French, german, and now the Russian. Most of European history is written by warring city states. It wasn’t until modern transportation and roads of the Industrial Revolution that made current Europe possible. The constant being a rugged geography that prevents centralization. Like you know confederation Canada. Politics is simply about resource management of which, is heavily dependent upon local resources and geography.

Canada’s geography is rugged, that’s why 80% of the population live in the most habitable parts, the cities. The rest of Canada is a frozen wasteland. The good land is in America.

It’s also more apparent to me now that the sane Canadians are the one who realizes and accepts this fact, that Canada will be eventually absorbed by the United States. The rest of you all, are still mentally ill.

Whatever Trump says works for me comrade. Anything Carnage says is all just lies and bullshit. Carnage went to Asia and came back with nothing. Carnage probaly knew that he would come back with nothing, but went to Asia anyway just for a plane ride to get out of Canukistan for awhile and burning more fossil fuel and blowing more Canadian taxpayers tax dollars just for fun. You lieberas are as dumb as they come. The lieberals are phkn you too, stunned.

You refuse to see as to what Carnage and the lieberal party has and are still doing to Canukistan and with your tax dollar money. Lieberals like you just continue to help and support the thieves and crooks in Ottawa to keep driving Canada towards and into the ditch. You do not care as to what your dear Marxist leader in Ottawa is doing to Caunkistan at all.

You just hate conservatives and so you are willing to destroy Canada just because of your hatred for conservatives. What a sick imbecile you are. Go away, go live in Cuba where you really do belong, comrade. 🤮

In every part of the world the majority of people live in the cities.

The reason we only have a few cities is because we have a low population. We have more space than the united states but a lower population in California.

People need to do things for a living. They need to be able to make money. So unless you're a farmer you're going to want to live somewhere that you can get a job.

Almost all of our land is habitable and comfortably so. We just don't have anyone to habit it at the moment. The first locations have been living in those areas for hundreds and hundreds of years without even the benefit of technology so yeah.

And with global warming less of the American land will be good and more of the Canadian land will be good. There's actually some interesting papers out there pointing out this will be a net benefit for us.

We also have a shockingly huge percentage of the earth's fresh water. We have massive mineral deposits that Americans don't have. Coastline and access to blue sea ports although not decisively so.

To put it into perspective, we could have a growth. Which fueled a hyper-strong economy for about a hundred years before we even began to stretch the amount of room but we've got. America does not have that luxury.

At risk that Americans don't smarten up and come to the realization they're the ones paying for Trump's tariffs. We should put out ads that underscore how confused Trump is about them. There must be dozens of clips of him saying America will get rich off all the tariffs it collects.

And we still have dry powder on hand - energy exports. I suspect Ford is loading up his cannons as we speak.
