And just to close the book on this, the cases  against Comey and James by Trump’s unqualified hack prosecutor have been thrown out.

It turns out that the prosecutor jobs usually performed by the top criminal lawyers in the country can’t be filled by random MAGA twits with zero criminal law experience who make serious procedural errors. Who knew?

What’s funny is how the MAGAs rant about “qualifications” and “merit”  when it comes to unfounded accusations about DEI etc but then will gladly hire any unqualified slob based on their devotion to Dear Leader.

Trump keeps demonstrating his incompetence over and over and we've learned to count on that. LMAO

Trump's slavishly obedient real estate attorney, like so many of his appointees, is objectively--and abjectly--unqualified for the job, yet he's entrusted the business of justice for the American people to her.

The top prosecutor in the district has never prosecuted a case.

And now, with two embarrassingly thin indictments filed, the odds are good she still won't prosecute a case. Both of these cases are likely to be thrown out before trial. That's why Trump's first appointee wouldn't charge either of them. He had to find someone with less expertise and less charcter--someone more like him.

What an utter embarrassment to this nation.

The embarrassment is fat ass basing her campaign on throwing Trump in jail - guilty until proven innocent, but actually guilty. Yeah, that's a good look for a sophisticated legal system.

Who could have predicted these cases getting tossed? Aaaaand the clown show marches on.

I don't think this will make Trump any less corrupt, or will make his slavering fans any more concerned about corruption, but it is nice to see a little justice left in the justice system.

Things are unfolding like I hoped. America, it's friends and allies and the world in general are getting a real faceful of late-stage conservatism of the hard-boiled right-wing variety and most have seen enough to last a generation.

You don't understand how it works. The next conservative even if he's still pretty far to the right is going to look reasonable and Centrist to these people now :)

You always say that when I'm right. I understand exactly how it works, Poilievre lost because of it.

The next conservative is Carney, he beat you to it.  He seems to get it.  He captured Poilievre's agenda without breaking a sweat and now he's capturing the right wing agenda before they even know what it is.

This partisan & activist judge's decision is going to be thrown out.  James actually committed these crimes and her own signatures on the loan documents is all the proof that is needed.

It's a prosecutors dream case because James can't deny it, cry ignorance, or cry politics.

Her fate is sealed unless the US Federal Courts and the USSC justices are arrogant enough to let her slide on crimes that the courts have already convicted thousands of American citizens of.

Show us your EVIDENCE that the Federal courts have even prosecuted thousands of American citizens for similar crimes with less than $10,000 of damages.

Stick to the subject instead of shifting and grouping in similarities..

Mortgage Fraud was the subject here...... which is fundamentally about lying to the federal govt. The Fed's don't need a monetary value when it comes to lying, and you can be convicted something as simple as lying on a federal job application or contractor application.   False Statements Accountability Act of 1996

And yes, there have been over 2000 convictions of mortgage fraud going back over just 13 years. There were over 2000 between fiscal years 2013 - 2016 alone. The amount of convictions have dropped dramatically since.

These cases were dismissed without prejudice. That means they can be brought again. It was not the case that was the problem but the way the prosecutor was appointed. That will be remedied and the case will return.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Uhm...the entire lawfare case against Trump in Georgia has been dropped by the new prosecutor.

In the meantime, Comey and James will be indicted again.

Brenner is going to court as well.

Now you're up to date. 😀

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

Nope, the subject is the particular kind of "mortgage fraud" that James was charged with.

You're LYING when you say that thousands have been charged with the penny ante kind of fraud like  checking the wrong box, that James was charged with, by THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

They almost NEVER waste their time with penny ante charges like that.

And that's why YOU'RE DEFLECTING and HAVE NO EVIDENCE.

So far that remains largely theoretical :)  To date that's never been the issue. Instead i offer it as a 'kind' explination of why you're wrong.  As in "it's not that you're dumber than roadkill, you just don't understand how this works".   You're welcome :)

You don't and he didn't.   Lets remember that your knowledge of politics lead you to believe sincerely that if politicians wore body cams there'd be no corruption.  I've had to explain how the system works to you several times in the past and so far i've never seen you correctly call ANYTHING political.

If only that were true. That would work out really well for us actually. I don't care in the end about the conservatives or the liberals, I care about Canada and the left wing has been utterly destroying it. Having a conservative take over the liberal party and run the country as a true conservative would be fantastic.

Unfortunately he's a fake conservative. He's putting a spin on the old usual liberal tactic of run on the left rule on the right. Instead he's gone with run on the right but rule on the left.

He was going to slash immigration. In fact he's lied about the numbers and at this point it looks like they're going to significantly overshoot his stated numbers which were already fairly High. He's going to wind up looking like Trudeau before about 2019.

He swore he build pipelines. It is very obvious that he is jerking them around and has no intention to build a pipeline. I said this a week ago when it was being discussed that they were about to sign a letter of memorandum with alberta that he would put a couple of poison pills in it where he would be able to claim yes, he's moving forward on Pipelines but in reality they would make it harder to build pipelines. And lo and behold he announces that the memorandum will include the right of veto for British Columbia essentially. So no new pipeline

He said he'd be tough with trump, He failed horribly. He certainly no conservative there. He said he would eliminate red tape and get canada building again, and all he did was create a bunch of new bureaucracies which he hired his friends at 800,000 a year plus perks to run and absolutely nothing new is being built that wasn't being built before. And home starts are down

It will take a little bit of time for the fake paint to come off and Canadians to see that they got screwed. The young kids have already seen it, they're pretty solidly behind the conservatives. Meanwhile the NDP voters will realize he's not the far leftist that Trudeau was and they'll start going back to the NDP.

It won't take much and the liberals will plummet again just as they did under Trudeau

LMAO!

In the meantime I think I'll take this guy's word for it:

A Republican in the Illinois General Assembly says all elected officials in the state should be required to wear body cameras while conducting government business. Rep. John Cabello of Machesney Park tells the Register Star in Rockford the intent of the bill he introduced is to reduce corruption at the state and local levels.

This guy has an insiders perspective that bears paying some attention to. Kinda like when billionaires tell you they're not paying their fair share of taxes.

Ahhh so everything a republican says must be correct and we need look no further.

I have some very bad news for you :)  :) :)

Again I am forced to explain to you how the world works. If a politician tells you how to avoid corruption, chances are in most cases that they're doing so knowing that their version and methods of corruption will not be impacted but it will look like they've done something so you can't call them corrupt anymore.

In other words, they're playing you because they think you're stupid. And in your case they may have a point

When billionaires do it they do it for one of two reasons. They managed to shelter their stuff so they know that it's not going to make any difference to them but they want to appear altruistic, or they fear that they sold their soul to Satan in order to amass the hundreds of billions of dollars that they have managed to do and are trying to buy their way into heaven the same way that rich people used to do back in the days of Canterbury Tales and the original catholic church.  "Leave all your lands to the church instead of the king and you will go to heaven"

In both cases you're either falling for snake Oil peddlers or believing in crazy people.

Some days I feel like you can't get your pants on in the morning without instructions
