Even after the murder of Cory Comparatore and Charlie Kirk, left wingers still try to play victim, accuse their opponents of stifling "free speech"

For someone who says they don't idolize Trump you certainly appear to be more than supportive of his every action.  Who cares about free speech right....so long as the narrative is how you want it.

and that has to do with you....nothing, so buzz off and bother someone else.

They believe Kimmel getting the boot for his poor ratings show is more of a threat to democracy and free speech than murder. Sad

Trump has an approval rating of 35%.  Better getting rid of him....   There was no insult to the murder. The FCC chairman changed his tune today.... it's because of 'appearing to directly mislead the American public'.  Trump does it with you and Legato, but nobody else can do it?

Well the White House didn't shoot Charlie Kirk (most likely) but they did have something to do with pressuring ABC to silence Kimmel:

More people should start taking sides based on what's right vs wrong rather than which party or their followers are involved.

Find me an example of a leftist here taking a non-partisan approach on any topic here, ever.

At best they'll stop throwing sandbox insults and run away once the jig is up.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Yeah I don't like him, so what.  Answer the question of why free speech in this case only applies to what Trump wants to hear or doesn't hear.

I've already answered your question in the title of this thread. And ive already told you why he got the boot. ABC fired Rosanne Barr for much less than what Kimmel put on video.

I went back and re-listened to the FCC chair on the podcast he did. The facts are ABC falls under the licensing of FCC. In its context he never uttered a threat of any kind, rather stated (paraphrasing) that these networks either make their own reforms or the FCC would be forced to direct it as necessary.

Facts are ABC has carried water for the Democrat party for many years now, and have threatened suspended or fired people who held conservative views. Now people like you want to complain when the pendulum starts to swing the other way.

No, the show was paused because of a threat from the FCC.

Facts are that the US is moving towards a dictatorship. If you're good with that enjoy....just be careful of what you say.

No the US is now correcting itself from years of abuses by the left wing.

Ahhhh, guess that's why he puts the military in cities who don't want them, or targets retribution to his detractors, or coerced the media, universities and law firms, or ignores the process of deportations.  Makes sense now....

That's that.

Not really. They recieved backlash from many affiliates (local tends to be more conservative in the US) and decided to pull the plug.

We will see..  apparently they found at least $80 million earmarked for terrorist activity at ICE centers in the US. Perfectly reasonable to call in the national guard when you are under a terrorist threat.

Yep, some fights you just can't win.

But at least we have a new way to identify people who deny reality: anyone who denies that the FCC chief threatened to shut down criticism of the President.

Anyone who wants to be real should start by admitting that. 🙂

All the f'ng ret4rds who had no problem with the gov't forcing people to take an experimental jab that they didn't need are crying "fascism" now because a Goebbels acolyte was fired. 😂

You can't make this shit up.

The problem as I see it is that some people can only see or hear the reality they're told to see and hear.  Why this isn't a blatant warning sign for anyone in the US that cares about democracy is beyond me....

This is just starting..., Lots more to come.

Holy delusional BS, Batman.

Are you honestly stupid enough to think that the issue with Kimmel's diatribe was that it was critical of the president😂😆🤣😭😂

Buddy, being critical of, and even lying about the president, is a daily occurrence. No one even notices it anymore when CNN and MSNBC lie about Trump. The police would slip over to do a wellness check on them if they forgot to lie about him for twenty minutes.

FYI this has NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH the fact that the rant was critical of Trump.

It was libellous, hateful, entirely disrespectful to the deceased, utterly devoid of class, and sunk to an entirely new low in the already toxic political environment.

You should be embarrassed that there's even a possibility that the FCC had to step in, in order for ABC to do the right thing.

If there was an Emmy for "Most Repugnant and Vile Propaganda of the Year" Kimmel would have been the first person to win it aside from Joy Reid in the last fifty years (she was already winning as a toddler).

Kimmell is right up there with holocaust deniers. Sad.

Perhaps ABC executives didn't want some whacko with who is okay with murder of a man over his opinions sharing an office space with them? Seems like a pretty reasonable thing to not trust a whacko like that, no?

So good....  the wannabe dictator is taking it up a notch;

Trump on Jimmy Kimmel: Networks that only criticize him ‘not allowed to do that’

“I read someplace that the networks were 97 percent against me. Again, 97 percent negative, and yet I won and easily won all seven swing states. The popular vote, won everything,” Trump told reporters.

“They’re 97 percent against; they give me only bad press. I mean, they’re getting a license,” he continued. “I would think maybe their license should be taken away.”

Trump said that decision would ultimately be left up to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Carr, whom Trump praised as a “patriot” and a “tough guy.”

If you want to be real, you would first need to start by not mischaracterizing it as "shut down criticism of the President" as that is a gross exaggeration of what took place.
