And yet somehow, our economy just keeps getting worse and worse. Liberal apologists will blame things like moving factories to Asia, and automation. But that happened everywhere. Why are things worse in Canada? The entire industry has been decimated by over-regulation by the Liberal gov't. I don't know why all the Liberal supporters here think the Liberals are pro-industry. They are NOT. They want an end to all industry in Canada. They've nearly finished killing the oil & gas industry, the fishing industry, the forestry industry, the auto industry, they've stalled our critical minerals industry for over a decade now and I don't see any signs that they are going to change that. Zero projects have been fast-tracked or even approved, despite 2 new bureaucracies set up, purportedly to do just that. but hey, at least Carney's buddies got high-paying positions on the boards of those bureaucracies. (Did you know one of them is making over $1 million a year? The rest making just under $1 million a year.) So, with no industry in Canada, how do the liberal and NDP supporters think we are going to afford all the programs they are demanding - free housing, free food, unsustainable immigration of people who will never be self-sufficient. Like, seriously - what is your plan for Canada? Cricket factories? Failed. Millions $ lost. Battery plants? Failed. Billions $ lost. I find it extremely hypocritical for these same supporters to accuse everyone that doesn't vote Lib or NDP of being traitors to Canada. They've even taken away any hope of being patriotic to Canada. They've convinced everyone that we are nothing but a nation of murdering thieves, that we have no values (except Muslim values - apparently we are a Muslim country), that we have no core identity.
