The two global leaders were all smiles as they landed in Anchorage, Alaska's capital, this evening for talks on a Ukraine ceasefire. They appeared to be the best of friends as they strolled down the red carpet towards Mr. Trump's waiting Presidential limousine.

Their body language was well-received in Russia, where state-affiliated media outlets lauded the "friendly" greeting as Trump 'struggled to walk straight' on the tarmac ahead of their meeting.

It really really kills the left that Trump is going to end the killing in Ukraine. Why is that? 

There is one, undeniable fact in this whole escapade. Donald Trump is the lynch pin to peace. The EU is coming to him. The Ukrainians are coming to him. The Russians are coming to him. He is the world leader on this issue. Full Stop.

That might be the lamest come back you could have used. Did anyone think he would stroll in and wave his hand and the war would end? No. But he did change policies in early Febuary and he opened up lines of communication to start negotiations. Here we are, just over 7 months from inauguration and the first real steps towards peace are in place. There is still a ways to go. This could still get messed up. And I'm sure you will cheer the loudest if it does. But this is far better than what Biden did, or anyone else for that matter. 

The rest of the world, however, recognizes that Trump is the key to peace.

Putin is an a-hole. We get it. But the question isn't whether or not what Putin did is wrong. The question is; what are we willing to give up? 

We are not willing to give up any more weapons and we will not send any of our troops. So, we can just pull out and let Russia reclaim all of Ukraine or we can negotiate a peace, give up some land and stop needless killing.

I get that you are willing to sacrifice more Ukrainians, Russians and possibly NATO troops because Orange Man Bad. I am not. Trump is not. Europe is not. Ukraine is not. Russia is not. You are the lone blood lust here.
