No, hypocrisy is complaining about the deficit but thinking it's okay to spend $2M to get some elected who was just unelected by his 20 year constituents.  That's hypocrisy....

Mhmm. That's right, bud. You keep trying. Eventually you'll believe yourself.

On the contrary.  I think it's good that he's back so the conservatives at least have a face.  Mind you it's the face most Canadian's refused to vote for, but it's a face....

Many Canadians voted for him. But Singh willing to destroy the NDP to keep the libs in power was brutal for the country. And let's change the border of PPs riding to fill it full of liberals. Embarrassing for the country.

It's sad that the CPC can only realistically win when the NDP is strong.

Pierre...  Is that the guy who lost his riding in Ontario and had to travel 2,000 miles to buttluck Alberta to find one?

Only cost taxpayers ~$2M because he couldn't win a riding he had for 20 years, but assuming that's money well spent 😂

Says the guy who's fine with the cost of holding up parliament and having a snap election to install a new liberal leader instead of trudeau finishing his term :)  LOLOL
"I'M REALLY MAD ABOUT THE 2 MILLION BUT THE 250 MILLION THE GUY I VOTED FOR THAT DIDN"T NEED TO GET SPENT IS FINE WITH ME!! DERP!!!!"

Hypocrite.

Why?

2011 was the only example we have. The Liberals were decimated and the Jack Layton led NDP became leaders of the opposition.

The CPC was able to own the middle while the NDP took the left.

The NDP collapsing this year was the main reason why the Liberals won. The CPC's share of the vote didn't change it's the Left of the Liberals were helped out by NDP voters.

Everyone has an excuse, but they're just excuses...

Yes it is embarrassing.  A guy gets voted out of his seat and needed to travel 2,000 miles to the safest riding they could find to get him back in the house 4 months later.  Take your political hat off for a minute....  there's something not right about that.

Pierre's speech was really, really good. I love the part where he said that when you care about something you don't give up on it. He then went on to tell the story of a woman undergoing cancer treatments showed up at his rally to tell him to keep going and how he told her, "You don't give up, so I don't give up."

That's the kind of fellow we need leading this country!

Leftards don't care that our gov't is failing us once again, and the two largest economies in the world are in trade wars against us, but "OMG, $2M for a by-election!!!!!"

We probably lose $2M per minute with the LPOC running our country.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Just heard Poilievre's acceptance speech to the raucous crowd of 15 people in his new riding....

'The deficit is out of control'.....  but I do appreciate everyone ponying up for the $2M tax payer dollars to get my job back.

Did he get off a plane and wave to an empty tarmac, and then have the CBC use a photo where the lack of a crowd wasn't evident, like Trudeau?

Yes, he went to the province he was born in.   I’m sorry that upsets you so much!  I’m enjoying the fake concern over the cost.  Liberals don’t care about tax dollars.  That’s why we’re in such bad shape.  Regardless, did you feel the same when several Liberal candidates resigned 6 months before the election in April that led to 3 by elections?  Too funny!

Liberals could spend $600M to help Iran deal with global warming and the cultists here would cheer. I'm not even joking.

His speech brought a tear to my eye....

The Conservatives have a leadership problem, obviously.  Poilievre is just not likeable and has been branded as such.  That's fact.

Trudeau's not the Prime Minister.  Neither is Poilievre.

You want to talk about Trudeau....why, he's not the PM.  This is about Poilievre, who did though rally with a raucous crowd of about 15 people last night. Good for you hardcore conservatives... 👍

Again, it's hypocrisy....  Your 'real leader' was voted out by the constituents he's had for 20 years.

Standard right wing response though on right on queue....   I see your bias has his term already figured out after only 4 months.  I'll wait a bit longer...

it’s up to conservatives to decide who their leader is.

My reply was a direct skewering of your drivel.

You just came back with random, snotty, childish, off-topic tantrum.
