He's met Putin and discussed Ukraine without them being present. Under the bus #2.
He's repeatedly spoke of land swaps and concessions. Three times under.
Stalled and threatened to end arms supplies to Ukraine. Fourth time.

Need a bigger bus to throw them under or it doesn't count?

How many more Ukrainians should die before they make a deal? They have lost almost 14,000 civilians and 400,000 troops (estimates). And why do you get to  hoose if they accept the deal or not? 

Zelinsky is willing to talk. Putin is willing to talk. The US and EU appear to back the directions these talks are going. I am looking around here, and the only people I see calling for an escalation of war are western liberals. Since when did western liberals become war hawks?

They don't.  Many of those are physically unfit for combat, and if they actually put anywhere near that many on the front lines their economy would collapse.  You can't just strip every military age person out of an economy and expect it to continue functioning. 

Nor can y ou expect people with a few weeks training to go up against hardened vets and do anything but die. 

They're out of tanks and other gear except what rolls off the assembly line that month. Their economy is already weakening drastically. This war of attrition is grinding them down.

You are correct, the Russian are finding out the limits of their militarism.

But again, there is still a long way to go if you just look at the numbers alone, like what a KGB agent would do... 

The war can get vastly more complicated if we consider that China currently supplies their industrial inputs and if things got bad enough maybe even military. That is to say that escalation is still a card Putin can exercise.

One fear of the Biden administration was that the Russian while on their last hurah and on their way out, may decide to flick a few nukes in our directions. Hence we trickled in military aid and didn't do so all at once as to leave room for negotiation. Trump, is aware of this possibility, that is why he was trying to get Russia into a negotiated settlement, albeit with unfavourable conditions for Ukraine. 

America has no interest in pushing Russia into a nuclear corner.

Do you think the smaller  country, with fewer resources and losing ground has any chance.of negotiating back 100% of the territory? Really? Is that what you think will happen?
