How Carney is betraying a vision of a fair and strong Canada

basically the TL DR Is that the left is already severely unhappy with how right-wing carney is. They feel he is betraying Canada and his promises.

Meanwhile on the right Conservatives who kind of paused for a moment and thought maybe this guy won't be so bad Are starting to lose patience as well with no new Pipelines, caving to trump like a wet noodle, not removing inter provincial trade barriers and not getting rid of the no pipeline law

I think carney is probably going to fall victim of trying to be everything to everybody and being nothing to anybody. If the NDP elect a strong leader in January after some of these cuts come in the liberals could be very much pinched

LOL every time i think you cant POSSIBLY contribute less you find ways to prove i underestimate you :)

Actually looks like despite left-wing hopes and prayers to the contrary he's going to win that riding handily. Meanwhile I noticed the star published another article saying how disappointing carney is. You don't get much further left than the star as far as mainstream media goes.

I'm beginning to have serious doubts that carney is going to last through 2026

Yes, that appears to be your enjoyment... being a partisan hack.

Not surprisingly Carney enjoys majority support from Canadian's but like all elected officials, needs to do the job.  3 months is hardly enough time to change the world so we'll see what happens.  If he can't do as expected during his term hopefully the conservatives can find a leader this time around that can actually lead.

I'm not so sure if this country can afford another 4 years. We've already squandered a decade.

I agree that another 4 years of the same would not be sustainable.  Fair to say though that thus far Carney is not the same as Trudeau in how he views our opportunities, but now has to show that.  If he can't, then we'll elect someone else who claims they can solve all our problems.

No he doesn't. He got far less than half the vote and didn't even get  a majority of seats.

He enjoys the support of a minority of Canadians.

But i'd expect a partisan hack like you to lie about it :)

You don't get much further right than Carney's advisors (Harper for example) as far as Canada's political spectrum goes.

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

You get a lot further to the right than harper in Canada's political spectrum :) He's barely center right

However harper isn't an advisor, he's just a commentator.  But for you on the far left who think everyone right of castro is hitler i'm sure it's very distressing :)

Unfortunately while carney has embraced right wing politics he doesn't seem to have the skill to pull it off.  Still no pipeline offers, still no interprovincial trade, still no deal with trump, still no housing boom.  He's failing on all fronts.

This says a lot more about the deficiencies of right-wing politics from where I'm sitting.

You're sitting in a place where anything right of Stalin is Nazi.

We've seen what 10 years of left-wing politics has done to Canada, it's been far worse than any government in our history. Including some of the mild left ones.

The only thing we're learning right now is that left wing the losers don't know how to implement good policy even when they recognize it

Carney is a guy like Andrew Coyne.

Predictable.

So far, Carney talks a good game, but has yet to do anything other than give away more money and run up enormous debts. Very much like Trudeau.

He spoke to Harper. Harper is not exactly on his team. And his team consists of people like the founders of the Century Initiative, and Butthead - who I guess has settled like a leech on yet another ignorant Liberal leader in his determination to destroy Canada. How does Butthead manage to insinuate himself into every Liberal government anyway, given his policies have UTTERLY failed the previous ones? Does he give good blowjobs? Does he provide young girls to them? What is it about him?

He’s actually been PM since January.  And he put his own deadlines in place as to when he was going to get specific things done.  Deadlines that he’s failed to meet in each case.  All he seems to do is talk about what he’s going to do and what is going to get done.  He’s in a perpetual campaign mode, with no actual results.

Not really, it’s deficiencies in boomers, as they’re the only reason why Carney is PM.  Every other age demographic voted conservative.

No.  Carney became PM on April 29 after the federal election results were confirmed.  So, 3 months in....what did you realistically expect..... pipelines built, new ports, mining projects, roads, etc, etc to be happening by now?  If you did.....incredibly naive, or a Conservative dreamer.  We'll see what he can do...which majority of Canadian's are more comfortable with than the wannabe in training trying to learn the job.
