The Gov't Privy Council was testing out the "elbows up" message months before trump announced tariffs at taxpayers expense for the liberals.

Looks to me like the Libbies are now trying to justify being lied to.

"WE WON! TOO BAD SO SAD FOR CONSERVATIVES!"

One even exposed his TDS by saying Poilievre is too "trumpy".

Meh..."Elbows Up" goofballs.

Now watch your lyin' sack o' minority, cave to "trumpy" yet again.

We had an unelected person as PM from January to April.  Regardless, whether is Pierre or Scheer living in Stornaway, it’s the same cost.

But you had PM appointed by the party where as the conservatives have an interim leader sitting in parliament.

Oh and Carney did not move into Rideau Cottage.

When you say stuff like that, you're just confirming you have nobody in your life, and nothing else to do with your time.

When you say stuff like that, bolded no less, you're just confirming that you're a tiny little man with severe emotional issues that spends his days daydreaming about what my life must be like because his own life is so depressing.  :)

And you didn't keep me waiting, I honestly forgot about you. It's fairly obvious though that you spent your time thinking about it and it's kind of sad that that's the best you could come up with.

I mean 90 to 95% of your posts here are to me, so let's not pretend that's not what was on your mind.

And no, twisting someone's word is not outlining anything. All it is is proving that you had no argument and so you had to try and manufacture one in A desperate and slightly pathetic attempt to try and salvage your battered pride because you keep losing arguments with me.

And again, I'm forced to explain to you using crayons and small words a fairly simple concept. In Canada getting 41% of the vote is considered to be a remarkable achievement. Few achieve it even when they win majority.

So when you say that they "ONLY" got 41 percent of the vote, it's very much like saying someone ONLY won a massive amount of money or someone ONLY won a silver medal or ONLY did some really remarkable achivement,.

In other words, you're severely downplaying an achievement.  Because you're an !diot and are angry the cpc did better under PP than you would like.

And trying to focus on that is what we call a Motte and Bailey fallacy.  Or perhaps the lesser version known as the 'troll's truth'. It's an extremely dishonest form of debate that I noticed your fond of. Having lost to the general principle argument you now try and reduce it to a literal context in order to try and make it sound less reasonable because you know you have utterly failed to make a valid point.

There would have to be a hell of a lot Smaller gap between our IQ scores for you to be able to pull that off without me laughing at you. :)  You'd have to gain about 20 points or so just to be competitive.  And just to be clear, that doesnt' mean mine is particularly high. Sadly it just means yours is particularly low.

The interim leader has always had a seat.

And of course he didn't move into Rideau, poor justin was still moving out :) Gotta give the guy time to pack his socks, have a heart man :)

And? You never want to seat, he never want to vote, canadians didn't pick him.

Now that can happen and normally when it does it's understood that the person does as little as possible and just toes the line until an election can be held or at least until they can run and win a seat

But instead he used the whole thing as an opportunity to campaign.

Once again, liberals have no ethics. It would take a complete scumbag to support them and obviously you fall into that category.

Who the f**k cares if he was appointed by the party?  He was unelected, and didn’t even have a riding.  Be at least a little consistent if you expect people to take you seriously.

That's just a sad commentary on your headspace though, isn't it?

The notion that other people actually do things on a summer weekend is alien to you, because you have nothing and nobody in your life.

Hope it felt good pounding that rant out on your keyboard, because nobody is going to read it.  If someone's read one of your useless, longwinded tirades, they've read them all.  🙃

Ex-Flyer is about 100,000,000,000 posts away from being taken even remotely seriously, and he will never have actual credibility.

If extra-ftarded ever gets the rights of an argument against you, it's time to hang up your keyboard.

If you actually had a point, you should have led off with it rather than burying it in 10 paragraphs of useless projection and limp, recycled insults.

So it would seem that the liberals were using government resources to conduct focus groups to test drive and refine their political campaign message. This isn't any government business focus, this is strictly electioneering and planning. They knew they'd be going to the poll soon and they knew they were in trouble and they were testing out slogans and pitches that would work and they were doing it with government money.

I would hope even those who are on the left on this board would be upset by this and say it's not a good thing. But I realize that is probably wishful thinking

Holly Doan on X: "DOCUMENTS: Main themes of @liberal_party “elbows up” re-election campaign were tested in confidential federal focus groups by @PrivyCouncilCA months before the U.S. announced tariffs. https://t.co/WS8KS8rUwO #cdnpoli https://t.co/srApQ1v3gc" / X

So once the government foresaw tariffs were coming they started planning for them.  That is not news, shocking, or bad.   Especially when you consider how unprepared and late to the party the conservatives were on this topic.

So...you're ok with using tax payer money to fund Liberal election focus groups?

It wasn’t liberal election focus groups nowhere doe it say that. Governments run focus groups all the time. A common criticism of both Harper and Trudeau governments was that they ran a lot of focus groups and polling all the time.

Based on the fact that you almost only ever replied to me, often without me having spoken to you first, it seems pretty evident that that's the case.

That the sad thing is I never think about you at all. I feel bad a little, considering how much energy you put into thinking about me

I understand how our system works, it allows an unelected private citizen that’s worked for foreign governments to become PM without facing an election and without representing a riding.  I’m sorry that fact irritates you.  He didn’t even have to disclose his financial interests until after an election! 🤣

What a system we live under! 🤡

The hilarious thing is my 10 paragraph posts take me about 2 seconds to think of and three seconds to make.

Your one-liners take you days and you still manage to get it wrong and look stupid :)
