You can't have a left wing gov't without having a higher level of authoritarianism. They require it to enact social policy. And the more left wing they are the more authoritarian they have to be just by design.

(5) Carnage believes in freezing patriotic conservatives bank and credit card accounts. Carnage had them arrested for daring to express their right to their freedom of assembly and speech.
