I'm doubting your stated reasons for releasing someone like José Antonio Ibarra was on the minds of authorities when releasing him.

These are certainly no excuse for what looks more like the collective punishment of millions of people for a small number of isolated provocative cases.

Yes, facts. 

He was arrested for illegal entry into the United States and then let go on parole by the Biden administration. He was then arrested in New York for child endangerment... and because of their sanctuary city policies, they did not care he was an illegal immigrant, they made no effort to work with ICE or wait for ICE to issue a detainer, they let him go. He then went on to murder Laken Riley. 

Those are facts.
