"By the end of July 2022, approximately 70% of the pipeline had been completed, and the cost of the project had increased to CA$11.2 billion. In October 2023, pipeline installation on the project was 100% complete."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coastal_GasLink_pipeline

And .... Alberta still did $hit.

You are clearly a true fool LOL

You are worse than a back woods Quebecer dreaming of separation...LOL

Lol..

Transmountain was tied up with red tape and a bunch of nonsensical legal challenges making the project unfeasible for the already existing PRIVATE INVESTMENT that was there many years earlier.

The economic impact on every day Albertans because of the nonsense is insurmountable.

But hey I guess you can think of Trudeau as some hero if you want.

Bottom line is Alberta did $hit and the Feds did it for you.

Oh and, PRIVATE INVESTMENT was not Alberta either LOL

Always someone else bailing Alberta out.

I hope all the ncie thing your premier said about Carney and the Libs comes back and bites you in the a$$ LOL

Suck it up buttercup, Alberta ain't $hit without someone taking care of you and bailing you out.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts.

Boo Hoo, can't get my oil to the West coast so the feds can make deals to sell it.

Boo Hoo, I ain't got anyone to work it the oil fields so I need foreign workers and other Canadians to come and work them so we can claim we do it all LOL

Boo Hoo, can't sell my oil...oh wait, all the oil owned by foreign companies?? LOL

"Foreign workers play a significant role in Alberta's oil fields, with many companies utilizing both foreign-owned oil companies and temporary foreign workers to meet labour needs"

Again, the feds didn't need to bail out TransMountain. The investment was already there until they buried them in unnecessary legal expenses and red tape designed to harm and punish Alberta citizens for not joining the genital mutilation cult.

Cry about Trump but don't even remove trade barriers in Canada. Talk about boohooing 😆. Orange man is mean eh

Hey dipshit...  you lose. Your diatribe is all BS.

"On January 11, 2017, B.C. Premier Christy Clark announced British Columbia's support for the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline,"

"In 2018, the federal government created a Crown corporation, the Trans Mountain Corporation (TMC), when it bought the pipeline from the Houston-based Kinder Morgan for C$4.5 billion"

"he status of the company changed to a non-agent Crown corporation on April 29, 2022"

"The project nearly tripled oil pipeline capacity from Alberta to Canada's Pacific coast to 890,000 barrels per day (141,000 m3/d), enabling better access to global markets and boosting crude prices."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans_Mountain_pipeline

Nowhere is Alberta in any of the building or financing. Alberta sucked...never blew LOL

Now you are deflecting to Trump??? Oh yeah, that is because your Premier is a Trump groupie disciple LOL

Lol with a $5.4 billion dollar overrun because of poor leadership from Trudeau et al.

Edit sorry a 29 billion dollar overrun because of "factors such as regulatory delays".

But Trudeau = National hero 😆

They are 5% of the population.  The majority decides, not 5%.

Alberta is 11% of Canada's population.

So I guess that means you'll finally do what you're told and pipe down when Canada tells you to behave ?

What are your thoughts on this ponderous question ?

Those are the facts. A simple google search shows that Trudeau is no hero.

Say again, Alberta has no cultural, religious, geographic, and definitely NO historical grounds to claim nationhood. Niether does Saskatchewan or most of Manitoba. Canada MADE THEM.
And every Treaty made there means the natives can tell the traitors to FOAD,

I doubt it'll be four years.. I suspect an election in 1.5 years. Unless Carney surprises.

So the majority can overrule indigenous people, but the majority in Canada can’t overrule Alberta?

Sounds like you have a hypocrisy problem.

The most classic adage regarding trolling is, "Don't feed the trolls." Trolls seek out emotional responses and find provocation amusing, so replying to them or attempting to debate them will only make them troll more. By ignoring a troll completely, they will likely become frustrated and go somewhere else on the internet.

You should try your best not to take anything trolls say seriously. No matter how poorly they behave, remember these people spend countless unproductive hours trying to make people mad. They're not worth your time of day.

If a troll becomes spammy or begins to clog up a thread, you can also opt to report them to the site's moderation team. Depending on the website, there's a chance nothing happens, but you should do your part to actively dissuade them from trolling on that platform. If your report is successful, the troll may be temporarily suspended or their account might be banned entirely."

What Is an Internet Troll? (and How to Handle Trolls)

Best solution on this forum is simply to put trolls on the ignore list.

I'm sorry that my math vexes you.

Try not to be a grumpy bear, though, now that you proper realize your minority status in all of our minds.  Let's just live with it and listen to each other hm ?

I find you are more of an internet troll than a serious contributor.

I know you don't agree with what I say and are an opponent of my understanding the Bible.  You are a Romanist after all and a diehard liberal.  Romanists reject the Bible and believe man's reasoning is superior, just like liberals.

I have tried to help you and point you in the right direction (the King James Bible), but you reject it.

You are correct, I am in the minority, but what does that prove?  Nothing.

What’s more likely…

that highly respected, longtime contributor and past Mod @Michael Hardner is a troll?   Or that you are having trouble justifying your positions and are hiding behind ridiculous accusations?

While I admit to being flippant, and showing attitude towards you... it was you who stated that you could impose your will on First Nations peoples because they're "only" five percent of the population.

So I showed you a little paradox in your thinking, admittedly with some derogatory wit.

And now you're getting all haughty.

Oh well...
