He would have pockets of Alberta resistance fighters running through every inch of Ontario causing havoc and Mayhem that would make the métis rebellion look like a barroom brawl. Don't kid yourself. Alberta wants to go it's going to go. And once that happens there will be a chain of events that will likely result in at least three of the western provinces leaving Canada. We can drag it out a little bit longer if they want to or if they want to talk some sort of sovereignty association like quebec has discussed but but honestly that's about it if they just decide to go.
