NorthernWolfSr Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 Total Photo Opp, exactly like his predecessor, Trudeau... They said it was to bolster Canada then when he gets over there, says we do not 'need' any help because Canada is So Strong... Electioneering at its worst... Why are we paying the 100s of 1,000s for this nonsense.... My Pension increased a Grand Total of $480.00 for 2025 and he is spending $$$ like it means nothing... Inflation, etc has reduced the value of my Pensions by at least 30% these past few years. Lets start spending where it matters - At Home. 1 Quote

There is no need for this quick trip to Europe and back, he 1st trip should have been to the GG. He is not the elected PM. Trudeau 2.0 Taking a road trip or buying a used vehicle can be an exciting experience, but it’s important to make sure your car is in good shape before hitting the road. Regular maintenance like checking the oil, brakes, and tire pressure is essential, but one crucial step that many people overlook is verifying the vehicle’s history. If a car has an existing lien, it could lead to unexpected financial or legal issues down the line. That’s why running a VIN check is a smart move—it helps uncover any outstanding liens or hidden problems. You can quickly check your vehicle’s status at https://www.faxvin.com/vin-check/lien to ensure you’re not driving into any trouble. Once your car is clear, make sure your license plate is properly registered, plan your route, and be aware of any toll roads or parking regulations along your journey. Whether you're exploring scenic highways, heading to a national park, or taking a city drive, a little preparation can make all the difference. Safe and enjoyable travels! You really are not thinking straight. Calling an election now will leave no one to fight for us. Ya think trump will put a pause on his crap while we sort out who to fight with him?? blackbird Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 Instead of going to the GG right away and showing he believes in democracy by calling an election, he jets off to Europe just like Trudeau. Throwing away taxpayer money to jet around the world and wine and dine on taxpayer's expense. Accomplished nothing. Didn't even attempt to remove trade barriers between Canada and the UK/France. blackbird Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 (edited) With the U.S. and China putting 25% tariffs on Canadian seafood and other things, the main objective of Carney's visit to the UK and France should have been to remove trade barriers between Canada and Europe and try to get a deal to trade our seafood and other things. Carney did nothing for trade. Canadian seafood producers are facing a serious situation now with a lack of places to sell their seafood. This is urgent; Carney should have done something. Army Guy Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 Carney tells the media, in very clear terms "canada does not need any help with the US tariffs", he also said that his trip had nothing to do with trade, we already have a free trade agreement on 99 % of the goods we need....so why did he jet off to europe ...come on liberal voters you must know, let the right in on the secret...He just putting off talking to trump, and solving these tariffs...what else could it be... Quote I think it’s easier to deal actually with a Liberal and maybe they’re going to win, but I don’t really care. It doesn’t matter to me at all,” Trump said Tuesday in the interview. Right, lets have a federal election for 36 to 51 days while Trump hammers us day in and day out while we wallow in a trade war. Gives him up to 2 more months to do what he wants without any backlash or counters from us. Cannot fight a war if the generals are all out glad handing and campaigning. Under our laws, he does not have to be elected to be PM. Has happened before. There's nothing remotely wise about it And sure, dictators always come up with a reason why now is not a good time for an election. We're in this mess because Trudeau refused to call an election when he should have, and now we're going to have to all live with that. Where are you suggesting that an unelected person who hasn't even won a writing never mind the Prime Minister-ship should just be allowed to continue and do whatever he wants with zero mandate whatsoever? If he were a conservative you would be freaking out like nobody's business at the idea that he might continue to run the country without having even won his seat Mind your hypocrisy sir. Our quality of life is nose diving for the first time in our history, investment is fleeing the country at a rapid pace, our productivity is in the hole. We have so much debt that we're vulnerable to every single thing trump wants to do to us, our trade deals are crap so the US's are only customer, people cannot afford housing or food. A record 25% of Canadians had to use the food bank last fall . The wolf has eaten three quarters of the flock already.
