This is a regular pattern in such processes: a period of hidden, slow decay is followed by a precipitous collapse of the entire structure. And it's here, live and in real time. Why would one need dark prophesies and exaggerations? In three steps:

Step 1: a president of the etc cannot be charged criminally because blah

Step 2: the Congress, the only body that can check the president is corrupted and dysfunctional. It will not uphold and execute its direct constitutional duty.

Step 3: the supreme leader can violate any law and order with complete and total impunity. How can one see and read it in any other way?

From the head of the executive branch in an imperfect democracy to the supreme leader in some North American Iran. In three easy steps.

Now, why is everybody so smug about it? This is the real, big question.

There is no decay in MAGA - there's just revival, and the cultists are losing their shit over it.

Now, the REAL decay is in blue strongholds like this place:

Right..no junkies in red states. No sugar in a pecan pie.

Trump was the lucky  recipient of a perfect storm of events. First Hilary Clinton was his opponent. Republicans were so afraid of her they'd been attacking her every day for 15 yrs. Even the Natl. Enquirer printed some ridiculous lie about her every week.

Then by fluke he got to name 3 lackeys to the supreme court.

Then Covid hit and he mishandled it so badly the following inflation was way worse than it might have been.(Remember "Drink some bleach and shove a flashlight up your ass"?) Canada had 60,000 covid deaths. The U.S. with ten times the population had 1,200,000,  twenty times as many. That's half a million dead unnecessarily.

Then Biden's age caught up to to him at the worst time, and the Dems didn't have enough time to make a comeback.

And with all that Trump still didn't get a majority of the popular vote.

If you take inflation

Out of the equation

Trump's on vacation

It's a Harris administration.

Trump's got 2 years at most. Hopefully the damage can then be undone.

1. Everyone knows blue states are the chief culprits. You losers have illegal shit everywhere, including illegal drugs.

2. Did you ever stop to think that maybe your policies just suck? When someone thinks of social decay, the FIRST side they will ALWAYS point at as YOUR side. YOU push illegal substances, YOU push illegal immigration, YOU push DEI, YOU push EVERYTHING that is destructive to the human mind, body and spirit - EVERYTHING.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

Oh, stop. Hillary was a cold-hearted snake, and that was apparent from the moment that she laughed off Bill's affair in her first interview after the admission, and when she called Bill's rape accusers "loony-toons". (Shouldn't you hate her for that? Isn't it "disqualifying"?)

Her handling of Benghazi was like a war crime against Americans, and then she had the audacity to blatantly lie about it all, as if Americans were too dumb to look for the truth.

Despite all of that, it was her disdain for Middle Americans, aka 'deplorables', that sealed her fate. She made voting for Trump into an act of loyalty to everything that they loved, and an act of defiance against snotty elitists.

America dodged a bullet when they kicked her to the curb, just like Kamala. Trump did get lucky running against those two. Then again, he lost to a fossil in 2020...

Phew. At least YOU admit he lost.

He lost against the FBI, CNN, FB, Twitter, and all their various lies and crimes. Joe Biden had very little to do with it.

If 2020 was to be the election template from that point on, the US would cease to be a "western democracy".

Its not being smug. It is mocking you and your absurd arguments. Then mocking you more because you refuse to defend them when challenged.

The deadbrains are laughing. So what if the rule of law is gone? What the ... was it, anyways? Democracy will not stay where the will and spirit of free, rational and responsible citizens have left. No such miracle exists in this universe.

Maybe. On the other hand , if the republicans showed some sense and put up an intelligent nominee with sensible policies I might vote for him or her.

But I'm Canadian and thankfully the American political sickness that the other side are always demonic agents of destruction only has a foothold here. Let's keep it that way.

I don't like Justin Trudeau. I did not vote for him. In Canada we vote for our riding's nominees and the majority forms the government. I looked at the leaders , the party's policies and the Liberal party was clearly the best choice. I haven't seen anything from Poilevre and the Conservatives that might change my mind next time.

Good luck with Trump and be careful what you hope for.

One man issuing decrees and threatening and judges that dare question him.

And they still pretend it's democracy.
The dictionary definition of a fascist dictatorship but they'll deny it from their dark corner of Hell.

Yes. It is called an Executive Order in the Separation of Powers. You see, Trump is the head of the Executive branch, he was duly elected in our democracy to carrying these things out.

Are you just now aware of these things called Executive Orders?

Did you sleep through the last Presidency and all the others?

Yes you f*cked up with your Constitution and made a 4 yr tyrant with the powers of a medieval King possible. One man personally making laws rather than requiring an elected representative body.

Shame on you!

This is bad, really. Quite possibly the resounding silence means that they understand full well what they spawned and engineered, and I mean the formal political system as a whole without differentiation and really, have no clue what to do with it or about it. Whistle away tread business as usual and hope it won't turn too bad and/or even fix itself anyhow. But what could be the real and rational grounds for the hope?

There's nothing else to hope for. As an American you either want secure borders or you want open borders; I voted for secure borders because I'm not an America hating psychopath like so many on this board.

It's a question of Right and wrong. I chose Right.

Nope. No tyrant, no king, just a President doing what every President in modern history has done. In 4 years we will elect a new one.

Trump is not making laws...

Shame on you for your ignorance and lies.

I don't know if I will still be here in 4 years or how many of us will be... but man, does anyone thing that myata will ever own up to the endless stupidity being posted on here when Trump leaves and we elect a new President and life goes on?
