That's in the second paragraph of CNN's article about it, and it's their first explanation of why it was done. I guess that CNN missed the part about te obvious ELECTION INTERFERENCE and the fact that THE NYPOST AND THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT CITIZENS ENDED UP GETTING SOCIAL MEDIA BANS DUE TO THE INTELLIGENCE OFFICIALS' LIES. If CNN had their way, intelligence officials would be able to lean on their credentials to spread disinformation without fear of any repercussions.
