Yes some of the locals seem surprised that the confirmation went normally as it always has except for Trump's one assholy display of storming the Capitol.

Not really, it's always been the democrat tradition to try and steal the election before the inauguration, So we already knew they'd failed   

And lets get real,  NOBODY was going to storm the capital for Kamala! I doubt she could round up enough support to storm a phone booth.
