It was just announced that former President Jimmy Carter passed away at the age of 100. Carter only served 4 years as President, but was a great man, who gave a lot to the community. I remember him from back in 1993, when he came to Winnipeg, to help build homes for Habitat For Humanity.

He was certainly a good man, just an awful president.

At least his family can't manipulate using him anymore to claim he is saying crap he almost certainly isn't. Dude was in home hospice care, but yeah, sure... he couldn't speak for himself to anyone, but his family relayed he wanted to live long enough to vote for Harris and imagine that... he mailed in his ballot.

Yeah, right.

He's such a dichotomy. His Presidency was an unmitigated disaster. But his post presidency philanthropy was unrivaled.

The Rules for Liberal tactics:

  1. If they can't refute the content, attack the source.
  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

The world has lost a man who cared about humanity and tried to do what he felt was best.

My sympathies to his friends and family.

Carter was a shitty president but his heart seemed to be in the right place.

Of course, you know what they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. ;)

Everything?

I think your thinking you can sum up everything about me from one post like this says a lot about you though.
