I think the numbers get so large that people start to tune it out. However many hundred million for the arrive can app, 500 million for this, 100 million for diversity hiring in Africa a billion dollar environmental slush fund, it's like every week. Now it's just expected, of course the liberals are siphoning off hundreds of millions of dollars.

It's a little bit of a magician's slight of hand. Has a criminal or con man the only thing better than not being caught ever is to be caught so often that nobody cares anymore

2015-2019 was fine besides not  doing election reform like promised. it all went down hill after the pandemic cost a forchune and cerb was given to everyone without checks hell i know people who applyed and got it and  didn't even work and were known as basically the community bums and thiefs who do nothing but steal and do  drugs lol

The political left should really try to raise the bar for ethical standards. At least to get it off the ground.

Stephen Guilbeault and Cycle Capital should be a huge scandal for the Liberals, but as usual, the media ignores it. No mention of it on cbc.ca.

But that's not even remotely true. His promise was a 10 billion dollar deficit for 3 years and then back to balance. But by the time covid had rolled around he had already increased the debt by about a hundred billion dollars. That was almost a 20% increase in international debt during times of prosperity when we should have been doing well and not needing to borrow anything. Harper had turned over a balanced budget and a full economic recovery from the great recession.

So to be clear he was a disaster before covid.

And the majority of his debt during covid did not come from covid spending. Yes, covid relief cost us money but the vast majority of the money was spent elsewhere. It's fair to say that during 2000 and 2001 revenues were down due to covid and that played a role but he deliberately chose to increase spending during that time rather than trying to offset those losses.

He has just always been absolutely devastatingly horrible with money

lol harper sold everything off at the last minute to make it look like he had a balenced budget before the election.  i will take  trudeau  2015-2021  over harper any day of the week **** that pos.

No, that's just silly. In fact it was one of our political histories more impressive things, he laid out a 5-year plan with targets for each year saying I will hit this or lower and by god every year he did exactly as he had promised and he had hit zero by the time that Justin took over. And it was absolutely and honest zero even the Parliamentary budget officer who hated harper with the passion agreed

Trudeau inherited a balanced budget, strong economy, full recovery and had promised that he would borrow 10 Billion a year for the first three years only and then be back to balance. He did not come remotely close to that, borrowing double what he promised per year and then just carrying on getting worse and worse

Trudeau has many failings, but if we're being honest if it weren't for his absolute complete and utter disaster and failure economically coupled with his absolutely disastrous Immigration policy, he probably wouldn't have looked that bad. But those two things push him way over the top into the category of worst prime minister in history. I mean I would take chretien over him any day of the week and who wouldn't and that guy was a scumbag.

you really have to ask yourself how much respect do you have to fire someone over a zoom call... The sad part about all of this is that all of the ethics violations, conflicts of interest and scandals that this Marxist arse hole has committed in Canada, the pos will be walking away with a nice golden pension. Every day, i am dam sure that when he wakes up in the morning he laughs at English Canada and looks for more ways to shaft Canada and Canadians. The biggest mistake Canada ever did was to allow the french corrupt Marxists from Quebec to move in and take over Ottawa. The french brought their corruption to Ottawa and Ottawa has been corrupt ever since.

A book called "Bilingual Today, French Tomorrow" is a must read if anyone can still find a copy of the book somewhere. It explains it all as to how the french socialists from Quebec planned to take over English Canada. A good read.
