"The billionaire owner of the Los Angeles Times said his paper has “conflated news and opinion” and doubled down on his promise to bring in more conservative voices to balance the left-leaning publication.

Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong — who sparked an internal revolt over his decision to kill the paper’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris — said the planned overhaul would take the Times in a direction where “both sides” will be “heard” and “represented."

'Hey Pat. Is this decision of yours based on a desire to report the real news like a real newspaper? Or is this all about following the trends?'

I'd bet it's the trends.

Never the less, the media is being forced to admit their campaign of hatred and lies has been rejected by the majority of Americans.

Enjoy this conservatives. The wild-eyed Libbie woke smoke and mirrors has been exposed for what it REALLY IS.

Celebrate. Then go back to work. Remember...

Billionaire owner of media property mandates shift to pro-conservative content to appease new regime. Right wing bog monsters eat it up.

FYI MSM outlets aren't supposed to regurgitate propaganda and lies, dumb doggie.

When they get to the point where they all sound like a slightly-less-racist Joy Reid, and people can just tune into Buzzfeed to get the exact same quality of reporting, they become redundant.

You're quickly becoming a member of the fringe, Black Dummy. The truth is starting to become more important to voters these days.

There are more than 3x as many people watching Fox News at 6 as there are watching CNN and MSNBC combined at that time.

How stupid would the owner of a newspaper have to be to opt to ignore that trend? "Let's keep lying like CNN and MSNBC and just fight for the scraps with the other stragglers, instead of being actual reporters for once."

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If truth were important to voters, they would NOT have voted for PATHOLOGICAL LIAR Trump. Duh

Funny how they always seem to admit this and promise to fix it right AFTER an election

The resistance to truth is too strong in the MSM.

They can't just suddenly start telling the truth without unravelling the previous decade worth of their own lies.

They could create a brand new "CNN-lite" (95% less lying) and try to move fwd without mentioning earlier alt-left narratives at all, but that still leaves NBC, ABC et al in the lurch. They're basically dead in the water.

I think the bigger problem is they've become so lazy and incompetent that they don't know how to make actual truth interesting to read.

In their mind if they don't hype and over dramatize and lie and spin, then the stories wouldn't be interesting enough for people to actually take the time to read.

Seriously, if trump claims that there will be a bloodbath in the automobile industry if Biden gets in then it's a page for minor headline that gets red once by a few people. If trump says they'll be a bloodbath in the streets if he loses, that's front page and people will talk about it for ages.

So they lie and claim that's what he said. More clicks, you see.

It's entirely possible to tell the truth and for it to be interesting and exciting but they have lost that skill and they go for the easy solution and cheap theatrics. And they wonder why they lose elections and they are going downhill as a business model.
