I am also terrified of being forced to eat bugs. That is the plan of the WEF globalists if they can get there way. I am bloody well sure that the WEF Marxist globalist in Ottawa and the WEF globalists will never eat bugs. This is all the more reason to want to vote for the Conservative party in the coming election. There will be no bugs to be sold in grocery stores, no cashless society, and no more WEF bullshit. Three things the PC party is against. 

There is a plant supposedly being built in Eastern Canada somewhere where there is a bug plant being built to produce i believe cockroaches. It should be quite interesting to see if those bugs will be big sellers in grocery stores here in Canada. I would hope that they would go out of business within a year. And the reason for beef being very costly these days is because of the WEF globalists who do not want we the people to be eating steak. They are out to cuttle cattle. 

A JD Vance PP will work just fine for me. I just do not want to have anymore liberal dictators in Canada any longer. With that Marxist dictator in Ottawa, Canada will never get to see it's full potential. Canada should be one of the most wealthiest countries in the world, but instead, it has gone totally Marxist woke and totally broke. And all we ever keep getting are more social problems and deeper in debt from our useless and stupid Marxist politicians that work hard to keep we the people woke and broke. Canada needs PP no. In Britain the new left wing Socialist government minister does want people to eat less meat and thereby produce less greenhouse gas.  There was a news article on this the other day.  This is not that far from forcing people to change their diets.  Left wing Socialist-Liberals have no problem with forcing everyone to do what they wish. 

Trudeau has had no problem pushing his war against climate change on Canadians with carbon taxes, caps on the energy industry,  regulations about auto manufacturing and spending billions of dollars on funding EV battery manufacturing plants. Now funding a plant to produce crickets.  What's next?

Government telling me what I can eat is nothing new, as I learned from the Loblaws butcher Saturday when he sent me home empty-handed after I asked him for a pound of fresh cat meat.

Any government is going to help Canada getting a leg up on a growing industry, whether it's EV production, crickets, or cat meat.

Scheer had a Carbon Credit plan too, I recall.  Everybody pretty much has a climate plan and Poilievre will have one too.

If it makes money ?  Sure.  We spent $1B on a pipeline for a dying fuel technology so why not this ?  If you don't want to eat crickets don't.  It has nothing to do with whether this makes sense.  I'm not saying it does, either, but on principle we don't make policy based on what some people find yucky.

So you're ok with Trudeau squandering million of dollars of taxpayer money on a cricket producing plant.  If it makes money, why do you support putting taxpayer money into it?  You're not making sense now.  You totally ignore the fact that it is taxpayer money we are talking about.  Nobody in their right mind should support using taxpayer money to subsidize a cricket plant.   We have countless other things that deserve support before producing crickets;  like the failing health care system, the neglected Canadian Armed forces, the lack of border security and illegal drugs coming in,  excessive government regulations hampering the resource industry, energy industry under attack by government, carbon taxes, etc.

A cricket producing plant that will go out of business within six months. There has been climate change going on ever since the earth was formed. Humans only inhabit about 3% of the earth. How can that 3% cause that much damage? It is the American government that is messing around with earths climate in trying to engineer the climate is the problem. HAARP is well known for messing with the earths climate.
