Tampon was correct that there is an issue with speculation in the housing market, however, if it's anything like Toronto or Vancouver it's probably foreign owners trying to sock away money from the communists. 

If Harris us allowed to implement her Chinese style Maoism in the US alot of Americans will be doing the same, buying up land abroad and taking money out of the economy. This will lead to a housing crash yet again..
